I'm most passionate about dogs; when I'm around them, my day is lightened. I was the type that wanted to collect every dog I saw on the street. So I got my first puppy when I was two years old, and since then, I've always had dogs and other small pets at home. I had aquariums with different types of fish, so I'm comfortable doing water changes and parameters control for you. Additionally, I've had hamsters and know the care they need to thrive. I've been doing this for a while now, and I've got a lot of experience with cats, and I love getting to know their personality. Also, I took care of bunnies and hamsters, which added to my previous knowledge about each species. I know how to care for different dogs, from the smallest size, as a Yorkshire, to larger breeds, like Akita. Also, I have experience with special needs dogs, so I can empty their bladder and clean their ears if required. If needed, I would also administer oral medication. Currently, I am finished with my Master's, so this allows me to spend a lot of time with your pet in nearby parks. Which also allows me a lot of freedom to better meet your needs. Also, I'm a strong believer that pets thrive with routine, so that's what I do with my pets in Brazil. So my services aim to continue the routine that the animal already has. For example, if a dog goes for a 1-hour walk every day at 11 A.M., I'll accommodate that. As for house visits, the pet will dictate the amount of time; the bare minimum would be playing, cleaning, and feeding them. However, everyone has different needs. Hi! We are Laura and Abel, a dogs lover young couple living in Scheveningen area. We both have a very flexible schedule and are able to spend most of our time at home. Therefore, your flurry friend will always have company at our place, lots of cuddles and all the exercise he/she needs. We live in spacious ground floor apartment with a beautiful garden for all of us to enjoy and play. Since the arrival of our beloved baby daughter, dogs are not allowed on the sofa or bed for the time being. Nearby we have the Scheveningen Bos (10 min walking) and the beach, Zuiderstrand, where dogs are allowed all year (15 min walking). In both of these areas it is possible to walk the doggies off-leashed. We have bowls for the food, toys, beds, blankets and treats for your doggy, so you will not need to bring your own. However, it would be great if you could bring the treats they love most since we never give them from our food and sometimes that can be a bit hard on them. And also, their bed or a blanket that smells like home is always nice for them. We think it is best for both parts if we get the chance to meet before the booking, preferably at our place, so you can also see the home where your dog is going to stay. We might have up to 2 doggies staying at the same time, which for the both of us is still pretty easy to handle and enjoyable. We have quite a lot of experience with dogs, having own doggies back in Spain and Cuba and dogsitting for 4 years now. We have experience with several breeds and also taking care of senior dogs, with especial and medical needs as well as puppies. While your friend stays with us, we will make sure of providing you with daily updates, pictures and videos, so you will always know how she/he is doing. We are happy to take care of puppies, we do love active doggies and playing with them. However, we find it difficult to accept doggies under 6 months. Even though we are home most of the time, we like being very organized with our schedules and therefore we really appreciate punctuality for the meet & greet and for picking up and dropping off the doggies. We are available for pick up and drop off between 8am and 10pm. In case you would need to come earlier in the morning or later at night, we might ask you to book another day. Bookings for Dog Boarding last a max of 24h and Doggy Day Care a max of 12h. However a time extension can be discussed. When I offer visits or dogsitting at your house, I have a very flexible schedule so I can adapt to the visiting needs of the dog or what you would like best (schedule, duration). Hallo allen, Ik ben trots teamlid van Team Arie (zoek- en speurhonden team) en heb veel ervaring met buitenlandse en bange honden. Ik heb met mijn moeder jaren lang honden opgevangen voor meerdere stichtingen, soms wel 9 honden tegelijk. Echter na zijn overlijden mis ik deze wandeling en het gezelschap van een hond. Wegens tijdsgebrek om een hond fulltime op te voeden lijkt het mij toch leuk om op de donderdag toch nog de gezelligheid van een hond te hebben. Zou ik u kunnen helpen om uw hond van zijn/haar wandelingen te voorzien? Stuur gerust een berichtje. Ik ben zoals hierboven beschreven alleen op donderdag beschikbaar en alleen op de dagen aangegeven in de agenda. Ik beschik over al het materiaal om een hond in huis te hebben. Eisen vanuit mij: - De hond moet los kunnen lopen en kunnen reageren op commando’s - De hond vindt het niet erg om 15-30 minuten alleen thuis te zijn - De hond moet gezellig zijn - De hond is zinderlijk - De hond vindt het niet erg om in een bench in de auto te zitten. Ik stuur altijd foto’s/filmpjes op, zodat je kan zien hoe erg je hond het naar zijn zin heeft. Helaas pas ik wel alleen op kleine hondjes tot maximaal 5kg. Mijn teefje is zelf ook heel klein en ik vind het gevaarlijk om een grotere hond los bij haar te hebben, ook tijdens het spelen kan het helaas fout gaan. Hoop snel een keer kennis te maken! For us, it’s their stay, their way! We allow them on the bed and couch, unless you prefer them not to. We always keep the water bowl full and pets happy and healthy. Our preference is always to look after your pet at your home, for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, your pet doesn’t have to suffer any stress due to a change in environment, they can keep doing what they do in the comfort of their own home :) secondly, if we housesit we can also make sure that alls well with the house itself :) we can sometimes arrange to keep your pet at our apartment, but this is not ideal for them in our opinion. We are both flexible with our schedules, so hopefully we should be able to help you out ! At the moment, Karina has a day job while Keir works in the evenings, so there’s always someone around for your pets needs :) We look forward to meeting you and getting to know your special friends :)

Karina stayed in our house to look after our dog, McGregor, and cat, Greyton, over a period of five days. She was very accommodating of our needs and extremely kind and attentive to our pets, and stayed in communication with us every day. Wonderful! Our small dog Binka was well taken care of, and the communication was great. Ekin and Özcan were very attentive and caring, the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I believe our dog really liked it.
