How it works

Create your profile

1. Create your profile

Tell owners which pets you're comfortable caring for and describe your experience. Add a few photos. It takes about 10 minutes.

Get booked by pet owners

2. Get booked by pet owners

Owners of rabbits, birds, reptiles and other pets find you through search and send requests. You decide which ones to accept and arrange a meet-and-greet first.

Get paid after each booking

3. Get paid after each booking

Payments go directly to your bank account, 2 days after each completed service. No cash, no invoicing — we handle all of that.

Services you can offer

Smaller and exotic pets do best in their own surroundings — most owners want a sitter who comes to them.

Drop-in Visits

Visit the pet at home to feed, refresh water, clean the enclosure, and send the owner a photo update.

High Demand

House Sitting

Stay at the owner's home and look after their pets there while they're away.

What we look for in a sitter

You don't need to be a professional — but caring for less common pets takes genuine knowledge and attention.

  • You understand the needs of the pets you offer to care for — diet, habitat, and handling
  • You're reliable and stick to the agreed schedule — small pets depend on routine
  • You're comfortable with feeding, cleaning enclosures, and spotting when something's wrong
  • You communicate with owners and send regular photo updates
  • You're calm and gentle — many small and exotic pets are easily stressed by new people
"I started sitting rabbits and guinea pigs because I love those animals and plenty of owners nearby needed help. Now I look after birds and a bearded dragon too. There's far more demand than people realise."

Common questions

Is there really demand for sitters of less common pets?

Yes — and that's exactly the opportunity. Owners of rabbits, birds, reptiles and small furries are looking for sitters who really understand their pets. If you have the knowledge, you face far less competition than dog and cat sitters do.

Which pets can I offer to care for?

Whichever you genuinely know how to look after — rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furries, birds, reptiles, and fish are all common requests. You choose the species on your profile, so you only ever get bookings you're confident with.

Do I need professional experience?

No, but you should honestly know the animal. Keeping your own rabbits, volunteering at a shelter, or years of caring for friends' pets all count. Describe your experience clearly — owners of unusual pets are careful about who they trust.

What if something goes wrong during a booking?

Every booking includes insurance that covers liability and veterinary costs. Our support team is available for emergencies, and we encourage a meet-and-greet before every first booking so both sides feel comfortable.
