Hierdoor hebben we veel ervaring opgedaan met het verzorgen, omgaan met en begrijpen van honden. Daarnaast passen we regelmatig op de katten van een vriendin wanneer zij op vakantie is. We gaan dan langs om te controleren hoe het met ze gaat, geven eten en drinken, maken tijd voor een gezellig knuffelmomentje en spelen natuurlijk ook met ze. We vinden het vooral leuk om met vriendelijke, sociale honden om te gaan. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan Golden Retrievers, Labradors, Poedels, Doodles en Jack Russells. Ook met Shiba Inu's hebben we ervaring. Met hele grote, sterke of uitdagendere rassen voelen we ons minder prettig, daarom nemen we deze liever niet aan. We willen dit samen doen, zodat jouw hond altijd de aandacht en verzorging krijgt die hij of zij verdient. We zijn na schooltijd en in het weekend beschikbaar. In het weekend hebben we vaak bijna de hele dag de tijd. Of het nu gaat om een fijne wandeling, wat extra aandacht of gewoon gezellig gezelschap: we doen het met veel liefde en plezier! Het belangrijkste vinden we dat jouw hond zich op zijn gemak voelt en dat jij met een gerust hart je hond aan ons kunt toevertrouwen. 🐶❤️

Mijn hele leven heb ik al een grote passie voor dieren, en honden in het bijzonder. Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en heb ik altijd een sterke, natuurlijke band met ze gehad. Door de jaren heen heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan in het verzorgen, begeleiden en oppassen van honden van verschillende rassen, leeftijden en karakters. Zelf heb ik drie kleine honden die gewend zijn om met andere honden om te gaan. Ze zijn sociaal en goed gesocialiseerd, waardoor oppashonden zich vaak snel thuis voelen. Natuurlijk kijk ik altijd goed naar wat voor elke hond prettig is en of de honden bij elkaar passen. Als hondenoppas stem ik alles af op de behoeften van de hond. De ene hond vindt het heerlijk om actief bezig te zijn, terwijl de andere juist meer behoefte heeft aan rust en aandacht. We gaan dagelijks naar een losloopgebied en in de zomer ga ik, als de hond dat leuk vindt, graag met ze zwemmen. Alles gebeurt op hun eigen tempo, met genoeg ruimte voor ontspanning en gezelligheid. Mijn doel is dat jij als baasje met een gerust hart op vakantie kunt, wetende dat jouw hond het net zo fijn heeft als jij. Geen gemis of stress, maar plezier, aandacht en vertrouwde zorg, zodat zowel jij als je hond kunnen genieten van een fijne, ontspannen tijd.

Geduldige, lieve en enthousiaste oppas

Vier jaar geleden adopteerde ik (na altijd katten te hebben gehad) mijn eerste hond: een klein, 13-jarig, blind en incontinent hondje met allerlei problemen. Het was mijn doel om hem nog een zo mooi mogelijk leven te geven. Ik keek youtube filmpjes, las boeken, huurde gedragstherapeuten in en na een paar maanden had ik er een vrolijke,stabiele hond voor terug. Met terugwerkende kracht een hondenmens. Ik ben zo blij dat honden bestaan, ik kan me geen leven meer zonder hen voorstellen! Die persoon die bij iedere hond die voorbij loopt "KIJK EEN HOND!" zegt tegen haar vriend(en)? Dat ben ik dus 😊 Op het moment hebben wij twee honden: Brownie (1.5 jaar) en Joepie (10 maand). Hun karakters zijn zo'n beetje het tegenovergestelde van elkaar: zoals we het zelf zeggen: we hebben één schaker en één voetballer 😉. Brownie is heel gevoelig, denkt bij alles 3 keer na en snapt wat we van hem vragen. Joepie is een actieve doerak die alles best vindt en nergens van op kijkt. Als ik jouw hond(en) uitlaat kan ik ze samen met mijn twee honden uitlaten, of alleen jouw hond(en). Ondertussen heb ik ervaring met: Gedragsproblemen, medicijnen toedienen, luiers aandoen, clicker training, blinde honden, dove honden, honden die niet meer kunnen lopen, oude honden, puppies en nog veel meer. Wat ik belangrijk vind is dat de behoefte van de hond centraal staat. Wilt een hond bijvoorbeeld niet geaaid worden? Dan zal ik dat nooit forceren en er voor waken dat voorbij lopende mensen de hond niet zomaar aaien. Andere dieren? Ik kan bij jullie thuis komen om eventueel een kat, knaagdier, vogel of ander dier eten en aandacht te geven. Ik vind alle dieren even lief 😊! Last minute aanvragen zijn ook geen probleem.

I've always been very involved in my dog's puppy training and general care in additional to just enjoying his company, and I've had to deal with a couple of health issues he has had as well. I've been an animal lover from a very young age even before my parents agreed to get a dog - I had rabbits, I did horseback riding for years, and looked after my friends' and neighbours' dogs, cats, turtles and hamsters while they were on trips. My grandmother and my cousin both had dogs that passed away recently, so I have also been involved in the care of older dogs, while I have lots of experience with puppies as well, as my family and me also fostered an Airedale terrier puppy for a couple of weeks. I've looked after dogs at horse stables and competitions, and I also volunteered in an animal shelter back home as a dog walker. Even though I do have some experience with bigger dogs, I am mainly used to smaller and medium-sized dogs, although every dog is different and I am open to working something out with bigger dogs as well! I have the most experience with terriers. Due to my current living situation, I cannot bring your dog/s to my place, but I am happy to look after them in your home, or take them on fun walks. I am generally a very active and sporty person, so I will enjoy giving your dog/s a fun and challenging walk that will be rewarding to both of us. My study schedules change frequently so I may be available at different times each week, but generally I am free in the mornings and evenings or at night, and for weekends it depends on how busy I am during that time period. Ik heb in het verleden een Duitste herder en een Jack Russel gehad. Momenteel heb ik een wolfgrauwe keeshond en mijn vriendin een sibirsche husky. Wij zijn gek op dieren, we hebben ook nog katten en paarden. Ik ben erg sportief en beschik over een auto, boswandelingen of strandwandelingen ben ik niet vies van. En een beetje regen gaan we ook dwars doorheen. Mijn droom is om een honden opvang/uitlaatservice te beginnen. Ik hoop op deze manier een weg te vinden om dat te kunnen realiseren. Ik ben altijd heel voorzichtig aan wie ik mijn maatje toe vertrouw. Maar bij tom is dat zeker goed bevallen. Hij is heel goed geweest voor mijn hond. Hij was helemaal uit geteld en heeft zijn energie ergoed uit gegooid. Ik had er thuis geen hond meer aan. Gewoon helemaal top. Actieve, knuffelige, gezellige, zingende oppas

Als klassiek zangeres ben ik heel flexibel overdag en daarom lijkt het me ontzettend leuk om gezellig te wandelen met honden. Zelf hebben mijn ouders en schoonouders ook 6 jaar een hond en daar pas ik ook vaak op! Ik zou graag zelf ook een hond hebben, maar mijn vriend is allergisch en het moeilijke is natuurlijk ook dat je er minder flexibel van wordt.
