I’m 28, live by myself in a 50sqm apartment in the Amsterdam West area; by the OLVG West. I have always loved and respected animals and my heart has always been drawn to dogs! Originally I am from Romania and I grew up in Greece, where I moved out from last year; traded sunny beaches for moody weather and picturesque houses and squares with which I’m consistently in love! A few things about my parenting style - my curiosity of dog psychology and my will to be a better mom to Milu lead me into long hours reading and researching all topics regarding behavior and psychology, nutrition, exercises and training and well as the specific needs of different breeds. We had a great experience with Cristina! There was an instant connection between her and Ivy, and Ivy clearly felt very comfortable with her. Ik als oppas: Ik vind het heerlijk om met de hond te gaan wandelen, maar geniet ook al van alleen zijn/haar aanwezigheid in huis. Ik hoor graag wat de voorkeuren van de hond zijn zodat ik daarop aan kan passen. Kort over mij: Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Utrecht. Heb Media&Cultuur gestudeerd in Amsterdam en ben nu aan het werk in de filmwereld. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met katten, maar heb altijd een liefde voor honden gehad. Momenteel heb ik niet de middelen en tijd om zelf een hond te nemen, maar word erg gelukkig van de aanwezigheid van dieren en zou daarom graag af en toe oppassen! Woonsituatie: Ik woon met één huisgenoot in de Rivierenbuurt. We wonen op de eerste verdieping (trap), hebben een balkon en verschillende plekken in de buurt om lekker te wandelen.

By taking behavioral dog training courses as well as teaching our late Swiss shepherd agility and tracking, I’ve grown to love shepherds and retrievers. However, I am a big fan of most other breeds too! While I live in an apartment, it is located right next to the Amstel - with plenty outdoor space and a short metro ride from Gaasperplas. I’m well-versed in outdoor and indoor activities, and like to keep dogs occupied and happy. Open for discussion is the question whether your dog likes to do shared walks - my parents live nearby with our Collie-Husky mix (as seen in my fourth photo). (Note: when I’m unavailable, my mother (an experienced dog trainer) likes to offer herself up as a back-up. Chili heeft een super fijne dag gehad bij Kim :hugging:! Lekker veel gespeeld en veel ruimte gekregen om haar energie kwijt te raken! Zelfs nog wat trainingen tussendoor. Overall, blije pup! En wij waren blij met alle tussentijdse updates/filmpjes! Ze kijkt er naar uit om volgend weekend een nachtje te logeren en weer met Marlowe te spelen.

Lena was absolutely incredible! This was our first time leaving our pets since moving to the Netherlands, and we were nervous. From the beginning, Lena was so kind, patient, and accommodating, even offering to meet with us multiple times before our trip so we could all feel comfortable. While we were away, we learned that our dog Ferguson was struggling with separation anxiety and barking when left alone. Lena truly went above and beyond to help us navigate the situation. She came up with creative solutions, offered to spend more time at the house, and even plugged in our camera when she left so we could talk to him remotely. She did everything she could to make sure Ferguson was comfortable and that we could relax and enjoy the rest of our trip. Both our dog and cat absolutely adored her! We even had neighbors comment on seeing Lena walking Ferguson around the neighborhood and how happy he looked. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially given the unexpected challenges. Lena is thoughtful, caring, proactive, and clearly loves animals. We're so grateful for everything she did and will absolutely be booking her again. Highly recommend!

Ik vind het geweldig om op huisdieren te passen!

Gezellig verblijf bij echtpaar in Hoofddorp

Wij zijn Cees en Kitty uit Hoofddorp. Een echtpaar van 55/60 jaar met nog een thuiswonende dochter van 24 thuis. Onze aanmelding komt voort uit het missen van de gezelligheid van een viervoeter in huis! Wij zijn altijd opgegroeid in huis met honden en andere huisdieren. Helaas is ons markiesje, Zelda, twee jaar geleden overleden. Daarom zouden we de gezelligheid van een andere viervoeter hartstikke leuk vinden. We passen graag op kleine en middelmaat honden.
