International couple with a love for animals

Richard and I have both grown up with and have taken care of pets most of our life. Richard had 2 medium-large dogs growing up and I grew up with 2 cats (currently we do not have pets at our home but would love them in the future). Most of all we love animals and happy to help anyone that needs reliable pet sitters! We live in a quiet residential area in Amsterdam, and our apartment is large enough for dogs of all sizes. We live in a building with other dogs and children so it is important that your furry friend is friendly to other dogs and children! We are located walking distance to a park so long walks will definitely be part of our schedule (if that’s something your pet likes!). We are able to help train your dogs with anything you are working on and of course, will make sure we provide the specific food and amounts you have instructed. We are calm, friendly and active people who have been around dogs and other pets throughout our lives and would love any opportunity to spend time with furry friends.

Liefdevol thuis bij hondenliefhebbers

Honden zijn altijd onderdeel van mijn leven geweest. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb een enorme liefde voor dieren. Mijn vriendin en ik werken allebei vanuit huis, waardoor er vrijwel altijd iemand aanwezig is om gezelschap, aandacht en een lekkere wandeling te geven. We vinden het vooral belangrijk dat een hond zich bij ons veilig, ontspannen en thuis voelt. We nemen graag de tijd om eerst kennis te maken en te kijken of er een goede klik is. Of je hond nu lekker wil slapen naast ons terwijl we werken, graag lange wandelingen maakt of vooral veel knuffels komt halen: bij ons krijgt hij alle aandacht. 🐶❤️ We passen het liefst op rustige, sociale honden die goed gedijen in een huiselijke omgeving. Ik ben in het algemeen een dierenliefhebber, dus voor katten of andere dieren mag je me ook zeker benaderen! Ik heb de meeste ervaring met honden, katten, konijnen en vogels. Locaties: Amsterdam west (hoge voorkeur), Amsterdam centrum & zuid, Amstelveen. Locaties inc. gebruik mogelijk van een auto: Haarlem, Overveen, Amsterdam noord, Amsterdam oost en zuidoost. Talen: Ik spreek Engels, Spaans en Nederlands vloeiend. Reviews: Ik heb nog niet eerder via petbnb aan housesitting gedaan maar kan je voorzien van meerdere positieve reviews die ik via andere wijze heb gevonden! --- ENGLISH: I am very responsible, love dogs, walking them, playing and cuddling them. I easily adapt to the rules that your pet is already used to. I prefer to take care of dogs that need to be out for a maximum of half an hour each time (although I love to take a long walk every now and then). The only thing I have a problem with is 'cheat' dogs, or dogs that are aggressive and you have to be very strict with them. Ik word blij van blije honden!

Het leukste aan honden vind ik de blijheid als je thuiskomt! Lekker even knuffelen en daarna wandelen in de buitenlucht. Mijn hond weet altijd meteen waar hij naartoe wil lopen en gaat overal enthousiast snuffelend heen, maar ook rustigere honden die even moeten wennen vind ik lieverds.
