But if its a slow eating food bowl, please bring it. 2. Maybe 1 toy, but we also have toys. 3. Food ( no need to prepare portions, just write a reminder on a piece of paper how much of what) 4. Some cookies. 5. Bed, or blanket, or cussion. Even your dog sleeps on the floor at home, with us if they see other doggie has a nice bed, they are taking it from them haha. They always get jealous, so please bring at least a blanket, so they can switch. --- About Us Mike and I love animals! In my home country, I was a volunteer working to rescue stray cats and dogs. I have a lot of experience caring for sick cats, pregnant cats, kittens, and puppies. I can give injections to cats, kittens, and dogs if needed, and I have also assisted in cat neutering surgeries. We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. I am currently learning Dutch, but for now, I can only speak English and Russian, and I understand some Dutch. Mike has had dogs since childhood. He can train your dog as well.Most of doggies are falling in love with him within first 5min spending time together. Please feel free to contact us, and we will find the best way for me to help you with your pet. I also promise to follow your recommendations on how to care for your beloved pet! --- Important Notes 1. We take more than one dog. Not always, but during high seasons, we can have multiple guests, just like other pet sitters. However, all guest dogs here are friendly, sweet, and non-aggressive. Conflicts are not allowed, as we live in an apartment, and our neighbors wouldn’t be happy, haha. 2. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). goed met honden en dieren in het algemeen

Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Joost is een echte dierenvriend. Hij zorgt ervoor dat je hond geen aandacht te kort komt. Afspraken waren makkelijk te maken. Aanrader!

Voor t eerst Boef 2 nachten laten logeren. Het ging helemaal prima en Boef wilde eigenlijk niet eens meer naar huis. Hij werd goed verzorgd door Shannon, veel aandacht en beweging gekregen. Een huis vol knuffels en kleedjes en Boef mocht overal op liggen en het hele huis doorwandelen. Kortom een hele goede ervaring ! Top !
