I moved to Haarlem with my boyfriend six years ago because he came to work here, (we are both Brazilians). I was studying when we decided to move so starting a new life in another country was a big challenge! I fell in love with Haarlem as soon as I arrived, but I had no idea what to work with so I started to take care of pets (as I love them) and was the best thing I did for sure. I had the opportunity to meet great customers, and the most adorable pets. I’m in love with all of them, and I feel so lucky to be able to work with something I love and having great moments with them. Growing up surrounded by pets helped me a lot to know how to deal with each different personality, but I still learn a little more every single day and I love it! I have an English bulldog, Alfredo 🖤 he’s living in Brazil with our family. Alfredo has the best life so that's why he's still there, bringing him here would be risky (short nose plus: he hates rainy days 😅) As a pet mom I know how stressful it is to travel or find someone you can trust to take care of them, so I take care of every pet here as if they're my baby Alfredo. Hi! Ik ben Felice, 27 jaar oud en heb 2 grote passies in het leven: dieren en food! Ik ben werkzaam als productmanager food bij HEMA op het hoofdkantoor en woon in Amsterdam-Zuid (Zuidas). Het contact met dieren is wat ik erg mis sinds ik in Amsterdam woon, daarom lijkt het mij geweldig om op jouw hond/kat te passen! Aangezien ik zelf geen huisdier kan adopteren omdat ik (vind ik zelf) niet genoeg plaats/tijd ervoor heb, is deze app een ultieme win-win situatie! Jij blij, je huisdier blij en ik ook nog eens. 😉 Mijn ervaring: Van kinds af aan ben ik opgegroeid met verschillende dieren bij mijn ouders, met ook verschillende honden en katten. Vaak kwamen ook de honden van vrienden/familie daar logeren als de baasjes op vakantie gingen. Toen ik ouder werd, ging ik ook wel eens bij kennissen in huis logeren om voor de hond te zorgen als zij op vakantie waren. Ik heb voornamelijk ervaring met grotere honden, en katten, maar ik vind kleine hondjes ook geweldig! Ik ben betrouwbaar, verantwoordelijk, lief maar ook consequent (hier worden honden vaak ook het meest blij van, namelijk duidelijkheid). Ik werk momenteel 35 uur per week, waarbij ik in de oneven weken op vrijdag vrij ben. Op werkdagen ben ik vaak op kantoor en ben daarom doordeweeks van 06.00-08.00 uur en na 18.00 uur beschikbaar. Af en toe ga ik in het weekend naar mijn ouders in Brabant. Na mijn werkdag ga ik ook nog graag een rondje wandelen, lijkt me gezellig om dat samen met een hondje/hondjes te doen! Graag kom ik bij jou thuis, ik vind het belangrijk dat je huisdier zich op zijn/haar gemak voelt door de eigen vertrouwde omgeving. Ik behandel je trouwe viervoeter alsof het mijn eigen kind is en zal je gedurende de dag op de hoogte houden mocht je dit fijn vinden! Twijfel vooral niet om me een berichtje te sturen! Ik kom je huisdier graag ontmoeten en hoor graag wat de wensen van jou en je huisdier zijn.

Felice heeft op onze kat gepast en we zijn heel blij met hoe het is gegaan. Ze was serieus, reageerde snel en stuurde ons updates over hoe het ging met Mau. Als je iemand zoekt om op te passen raad ik Felice zeker aan!

I have a few spots during the week available for your pet! My Partner and me have always had a lot of animals growing up and we continued that trend in our own home. Unfortunately we found ourselves now without a furry friend to come home to. As we love animals, tired dogs especially, we decided to become petsitters for now and channel all that loving energy towards your pets! We have a lot of experience with dogs and cats as we have fostered dogs but also had our own dogs! We used to be the parents of a rescue Pitmix from Spain, who we managed to turn from a rascal to a fullblown cuddlebug. We do not discriminate when it comes to breeds and would love to care for your baby even if they might not have had the best start in life. Untill not too long we were using the services on Petbnb for our own dog, therefore we totally understand how scary it can be to leave your baby with a sitter and also what is expected of us to make it enjoyable for everyone. We love to give frequent updates/pictures to share how your pet is doing. Now for the house, we have an enclosed garden with a seperate entrance, so muddy paws are no issue! We have sun from 12:00 to 19:00, so most lazy dogs usually choose to follow the sun throughout the day in our garden. On top of that we live right next to Rembrandpark and always do a big lap per day. Our normal schedule is a walk at 9:00 and a walk at 15:00. I am also a keen and enthusiastic cuddler of all cute animals- a service I can provide at no additional cost to you. We'll make sure to treat everyone like we would our own and make it so they'll feel at home <3 Services: -Boarding and House Sitting: I would be available between the hours of 16.00-10.00am and the rate is per night. -Day care: Includes one 45 minute - 1 hour long walk and a pee break. Hours would be between Additionally walks, runs, or hikes in Oeverlanden or Amsterdamse Bos can be discussed upon request as I do have a pooch mobile. -Walks: My walk rates are based on 45 minute sessions. Be mindful that I live right next to an off leash dog park, therefore this might not be the best place to stay for your dog if they are leash/dog reative. We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. And if it’s a pup that enjoys resting and accompanying more, we love that too! We also enjoy to teach them when they’re puppies since we love seeing their evolution :)

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. I’m always happy to send photos and little updates so you can see what your pet has been up to. 🐾 I also grew up around much larger dogs, as my grandmother was a Rottweiler breeder for around 10 years. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

Experienced dog person with plenty of time

I grew up with dogs and have had them around me pretty much my entire life. I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and really miss having one around, so I’d love to look after a dog from time to time. I’m comfortable with both large and small dogs and used to different personalities. Walks, playing, feeding, or just hanging out at home are all fine with me. I live with my boyfriend, who is also a dog person. We have a spacious apartment by Amsterdam standards and live close to a park. My boyfriend works from home, and I also work from home part of the week, so there’s almost always someone around. Hoi, Robin hier! Ik ben opgegroeid met een Dobermann in huis, wat nog steeds één van mijn favoriete rassen is. Hij was fantastisch afgericht, geobsedeerd met ballen en mijn beste vriend. Later kwamen er twee Franse Bassets in huis. Erg schattig, maar ook lekker lui. Deze hondjes hebben de tijd nodig om te snuffelen, dus hoe ik eerst kon rennen en gooien met mijn hond, moest ik nu rustig lopen en soms zelfs even wachten tot de hondjes weer een beetje bij mij in de buurt waren. In mijn tussenjaar woonde ik bij een gezin met twee hondjes uit Ecuador, die allebei totaal verschillend waren. De kleine wilde graag geaaid worden en spelen en de grotere waardeerde rust en af en toe een aai over haar bol, maar hield wel van rennen tijdens het wandelen. Naast dit alles heb ik nog vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij een asiel. Kortom, aan ervaring met verschillende honden heb ik geen tekort. Op het moment studeer ik in Amsterdam. Ik woon in een 18m2 kamertje, waardoor ik liever geen grote honden langs heb, maar wandelen met grotere rassen is zeker geen probleem. Mijn beschikbaarheid varieert, maar overdag heb ik vaak veel vrije tijd, ‘s avonds iets minder.

Lief, duidelijk, behulpzaam. Ze kan goed omgaan met onze springende Hollandse herder. aanrader!

Betrouwbare oppas die enorm van dieren houdt!

Hoi! Mijn naam is Romy, en ik ben een betrouwbare en ervaren oppas voor zowel honden als katten en eventueel andere kleine huisdieren. Doordeweeks werk ik overdag maar in de avonden en op vrijdagmiddag ben ik beschikbaar voor wandelingen, verzorging en gezellig gezelschap. In het weekend ben ik volledig flexibel. Omdat huisdieren helaas niet zijn toegestaan in mijn appartement, pas ik uitsluitend op bij de baasjes thuis. Dat bevalt mij heel goed: ik heb inmiddels meerdere vaste oppasadresjes waar ik soms 1 tot 3 weken blijf. Ik vind het belangrijk dat dieren in hun vertrouwde omgeving kunnen blijven en geef ze alle rust, liefde en aandacht die ze nodig hebben. Of het nu gaat om een speelse hond of een rustige kat, ik pas me aan aan het karakter van het dier. Ik houd jullie uiteraard op de hoogte met foto’s en berichtjes. Zijn er speciale wensen?
