Hi! I’m Hongfei, a gentle and caring animal lover based in Amstelveen. I’m currently doing a research master’s at UvA, and this is my fourth year living in the Netherlands. I can’t have pets in my apartment (and it wouldn’t be fair to them since I sometimes travel), so taking care of other people’s animals is a way for me to stay close to the animals I love.
I grew up around animals and have always enjoyed spending time with cats and small pets. I’m calm, patient, and very attentive, which helps animals feel safe and relaxed around me. I take time to understand each animal’s personality and needs, and I’m happy to adapt to their rhythm — whether that means playtime, quiet company, or simply keeping their routine steady.
