Zelf heb ik sinds kleins af aan een ontzettend lieve kat gehad, helaas is zij laatst overleden en lijkt het mij heel leuk om weer een huisdier voor een kortere periode in huis te hebben! Ik ben veel beschikbaar door de weeks omdat ik vaak thuis werk en in de weekenden ben ik vrij, meestal heb ik dan mijn vaste oppashondje maar het kan zijn dat hij er een weekendje niet is dus je kan altijd vragen of ik beschikbaar ben. Ik hou graag van wandelen en vind het daarom ook niet erg om voor een langere tijd met uw hond een rondje te gaan lopen buiten. Dichtbij mijn huis zijn 2 verschillende bossen & het strand van Kijkduin en is dus daarom perfect voor een lange wandeling!

For the last two years, while living in Amsterdam, I had two regular addresses that asked me to look after their dogs during workdays, weekends away and holidays. Since I've moved, they still bring their dogs to me when they go away for a longer holiday, but of course much less frequent now. About the apartment The house is a calm place, as there are no other pets or children. Luckily, the Scheveningse Bosjes (meaning lots of fun and plenty of other dogs!) are just around the corner. If the schedule allows and they feel comfortable enough, I also love going for a walk on the beach. Important: the apartment is on the first floor. The staircase is very doable (it's not steep), but it's good to know. Practicalities - I'm flexible with my availability. - The response rate on my profile might be low because it was inactive. When I was living in Amsterdam, I found two addresses that regularly asked me to dog-sit for them. I've moved back to The Hague, and now that I'm all settled in, I'm looking forward to finding a new pet-sitting address. Wij zijn Nikki en Justus. Allebei zijn wij 28 en wonen en werken in Den Haag. Wij zijn ruim 8 jaar samen en hebben ons hele leven al huisdieren gehad. Toevallig zijn wij beide opgegroeid met Canadese Herders, dus we zijn wel wat gewend. Verder hebben wij ruime ervaring met het oppassen op een hoop verschillende honden door jaren lang Petbnb oppasser te zijn. Justus werkt vaak ‘s ochtends en ‘s middags en kan daarom de hond lekker vroeg uitlaten. Nikki werkt voornamelijk thuis en kan daarom makkelijk tussendoor de middag wandelingen doen. Wij hebben geen tuin, wel een balkon. Onze voordeur is op twee hoog en te bereiken door twee trappen. De honden die bij ons blijven moeten dus wel trap kunnen lopen, of het niet erg vinden om opgetild te worden. Graag passen wij op honden die voor een of meerdere dagen bij ons blijven. Zo past het huisdier perfect in ons leven en krijgt het alle aandacht dat het beestje verdient.

I hate to sound like a broken record here but I can't stress how amazing it is to be able to leave your beloved pet and not have a single worry about their care while you have to travel. Ranger stayed with Justus and Nikki again and we couldn't be more happy with the love and care he gets while with them.

Ik heb veel ervaring met kleine hondjes en ben heel voorzichtig en geduldig. lekker kroelen op de bank vind ik heerlijk en het uitlaten bij mijn woning kan in een rustig gebied waar niet veel honden komen maar wel voldoende groen is om uit te laten. Ik zoek spontane oppas klussen maar niet beschikbaar voor vaste dagen. mijn appartement heeft een groot omheind dakterras waar we naar buiten kunnen. Binnen is 50m2 vandaar dat ik liever op kleine honden pas. ik zie graag je berichtje verschijnen!

Al van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden. Mijn eerste hond, Max, was jarenlang een vast onderdeel van mijn leven. Later kwam Boomer erbij en na het overlijden van beiden kwam Indy in ons leven. Honden zijn daardoor eigenlijk altijd een vertrouwd en belangrijk onderdeel van mijn dagelijks leven geweest. Sinds kort woon ik op mezelf. Indy is mijn vader gebleven, waardoor ik het gezelschap en de gezelligheid van een huisdier best wel mis. Daarom lijkt het me ontzettend leuk om op deze manier weer wat tijd met dieren door te brengen en tegelijkertijd iemand anders te kunnen helpen. Ik werk alle dagen vanuit huis, waardoor ik overdag veel flexibiliteit heb om voor een hond te zorgen. Een hond hoeft bij mij dus niet de hele dag alleen te zijn en ik kan gemakkelijk tussendoor naar buiten voor een wandeling. In de buurt is een hondenparkje waar we naartoe kunnen, maar ik vind het ook heerlijk om gewoon een rustig rondje in de buurt te lopen. Uiteraard stem ik dit af op wat de hond gewend is en prettig vindt.

Omdat ik vanwege mijn onregelmatige baan zelf geen hond kan bezitten is dit uniek en ideaal om te doen aangezien het mes aan 2 kanten snijdt! Ik heb tijd en ruimte genoeg om uw hond goed te leren kennen en echt hond te laten zijn: ze krijgen alle vrijheid en aandacht van mij. Ik ben in het bezit van een groot huis met tuin en een auto om naar het nabijgelegen strand of bos te gaan. Natuurlijk is gewoon lekker rustig thuis blijven ook een optie. Bij u aan huis komen oppassen is binnen een gepaste straal geen probleem: soms is een hond en zeker een kat het liefst en veiligst in zijn/haar eigen huis! Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en katten, ik werk als vrijwilliger in het dierenasiel en privé pas ik op de nodige honden van vrienden. Al uw wensen zijn bespreekbaar, maar staan en vallen allereerst met het vertrouwen, dat er moet zijn tussen mens en dier. Als u vragen heeft, neem gerust contact met me op!
