[ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. Ik woon vlakbij een park in Amsterdam en elke dag loop ik door een waar hondenparadijs. Helaas is mijn appartement net te klein om een hond in te houden, en is PetBnB daarom de perfecte oplossing! Ik heb een voorkeur voor de wat grotere honden, ook met de wens om zelf later een grote hond te hebben :) Het lijkt mij fantastisch om lekker buiten te gaan wandelen en te gaan spelen met jouw hond en zo alvast te oefenen voor later! Wij zijn Guusje & Sietse, een avontuurlijk en sportief stel en we houden ervan om veel buiten te zijn. Omdat we zelf enkel een (ruim) balkon hebben, vinden we ons huis niet geschikt voor het hebben van een permanent huisdier maar we zouden het leuk vinden om mensen in de buurt te helpen met het opvangen van hun huisdieren wanneer nodig! We houden van lange wandelingen door Flevopark of vliegerbos, dagjes uitwaaien aan het strand (als het kan) en vinden het belangrijk dat een kat/hond de aandacht krijgt die ze nodig hebben. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met katten en honden, dus we hebben veel ervaring. Het liefst passen we op middelgrote honden die makkelijk in de omgang zijn en het fijn vinden om bij mensen in de buurt te zijn. Door haar werk als freelancer werkt Guusje veel vanuit huis. Daarom is ze flexibel en kan ze overdag tijd maken voor langere wandelingen!

We hadden een gezellige kennismaking bij Guusje en Sietse, dat gaf al veel vertrouwen vooraf. Curly heeft 2 nachtjes bij ze gelogeerd, we kregen een paar leuke foto's waarop hij er erg relaxt en tevreden uitzag. Fijn oppas-adresje, wij doen zeker weer een nieuwe aanvraag!

Work from home dog lovers

Jose and myself are both pet lovers who grew up around animals. Sadly, we do not have enough space at the moment to have a pet for a long-period. That’s why we think that this concept is brilliant!
