Ik ben Robin en naast dat ik zelf 2 Roemeense rescuehonden (mét rugzakje) heb, help ik in mijn vrije tijd graag andere hondenbaasjes met het uitlaten van hun hond. Ik weet uit ervaring hoe spannend het kan zijn om jouw hond aan een vreemde mee te geven — you are not alone. De wandeling is helemaal afgestemd op wat jouw hond nodig heeft. Even lekker naar buiten om te snuffelen en te ontspannen of juist een actief rondje met wat leuke oefeningen tussendoor. Hierbij kijk ik naar het karakter, het tempo en de behoefte van jouw hond op dat moment, maar stem ik ook graag af hoe jullie wandelingen er normaal uitzien. . Ik werk op een positieve, beloningsgerichte en volledig force-free manier (R+). Voor mij draait het om zachte begeleiding. Deze manier van wandelen is ook heel geschikt voor honden die wat extra ondersteuning kunnen gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld omdat ze ouder zijn, lichamelijke ongemakken hebben of extra begeleiding op gedragsmatig gebied nodig hebben. Zo wandel ik momenteel ook met een aantal reactieve honden. Juist zij zijn ook welkom! Ik zorg voor een ontspannen, voldane hond die na afloop met een tevreden snoet weer thuiskomt. Praktische info & Locatie Vanaf 1 oktober vast beschikbaar op donderdag - verder flexibel in het weekend. Ik ben beschikbaar in Vijfhuizen, Haarlem, Heemstede en omgeving en ik heb een auto tot mijn beschikking. Reiskosten zijn inbegrepen binnen een straal van 5 km vanaf Vijfhuizen. Voor adressen daarbuiten reken ik €0,30 per extra gereden kilometer, berekend op basis van de retourafstand. Ik sta open voor last minute verzoekjes. We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Voor t eerst Boef 2 nachten laten logeren. Het ging helemaal prima en Boef wilde eigenlijk niet eens meer naar huis. Hij werd goed verzorgd door Shannon, veel aandacht en beweging gekregen. Een huis vol knuffels en kleedjes en Boef mocht overal op liggen en het hele huis doorwandelen. Kortom een hele goede ervaring ! Top !

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time.
