Ik ben mijn hele leven al gek op honden en sinds vijf jaar is mijn labradoodle Dolly een groot onderdeel van mijn leven. Ze is ontzettend sociaal en vindt het altijd gezellig om andere honden om zich heen te hebben. Omdat ik veel thuis ben, lijkt het me ontzettend leuk om samen met Dolly op andere honden te passen. We wonen in een gezellig huisje met een tuintje in het centrum van Monnickendam, vlak bij het Hemmeland. Een goeie plek om lekker naar buiten te gaan en lange wandelingen te maken. Dolly en ik lopen minimaal drie keer per dag een groot rondje. Buiten is ze lekker speels en enthousiast, terwijl ze binnenshuis juist rustig en relaxed is. Ze kan goed met andere honden overweg en vindt het vooral leuk om samen te spelen en op pad te gaan. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich bij ons net zo comfortabel voelt als thuis. Daarom neem ik graag de tijd om hem of haar aandacht te geven, lekker te wandelen en natuurlijk ook gewoon gezellig samen te zijn.

Hoi! Sinds mijn jonge kinderjaren ben ik opgegroeid met honden en ik ben dan ook echt een hondenmens in hart en nieren. Zelf heb ik een lieve hond, Jua. Omdat ik regelmatig vanuit huis werk, vind ik het gezellig om op de dagen dat ik thuiswerk ook op een extra viervoeter te passen. Ik wandel ongeveer drie keer per dag en maak daar graag een langere wandeling van, variërend van 30 minuten tot soms wel twee uur, afhankelijk van het weer. Het liefst trek ik samen met de hond(en) de natuur in voor een fijne wandeling. Ik vind alle hondjes even leuk en lief en hou ervan om lang te wandelen in het park, te knuffelen en veel te spelen. Ik heb een grasveld voor de deur en een park om de hoek dus dat is handig met uitlaten. Door de jaren heen heb ik op verschillende hondjes gepast. Een engelse Stafford, Australische herder, Beagle puppy, chihuahua puppy en ik pas regelmatig op de ruwharige dwergtackel van mijn tante. Ik vind grotere honden ook leuk maar heb daar wel iets minder ervaring mee en ze passen niet helemaal in mijn kleinere appartement. Hopelijk tot snel!

Playful, loving, down-to-earth & good communicator

I almost enjoy spending time with dogs more than with people. I really love social dogs and I love playing and training, which I find so rewarding! I get excited when dogs are excited and love learning, so I have no problem leaving the house 10 times a day to potty train a puppy or walk for two hours in the park with an active dog while throwing a ball or doing little search challenges. I also think it's much nicer to cuddle on the couch after a long (or short) day in the park. I have signed up to Petbnb, since I work too much to be a dog mom myself - instead I will be the fun aunt. More about my experience: I've grown up around labradors and a springer spaniel in my family, all family dogs and some also trained and used for hunting. It taught me simple training techniques and made me see the joy that comes with a well-behaved and loved dog. I was the regular dog sitter for a broholmer for a few years, we always had the best time together. Currently I am the regular sitter for an old staffy. We tend to spend more time on the couch than in the park, but that's her preference. I also love bringing her when getting a coffee with friends or take her on a drive somewhere fun outside the city. Additionally I volunteer at a dog shelter, where I clean and go for walks with the dogs. I meet many different breeds here every week, and additionally I get to learn from professional dog trainers and caretakers. I've previously owned an english bulldog, Benji, a young rescue. He had issues with eating, seperation and stress because of his experiences, which I worked on together with a professional trainer. I definitely have a soft spot for those bully breeds now. Dogs communicate so much to us, and it's very important to read their body language, while I only give simple, easy to understand commands and use my body language. I am always calm and let the dog come to me, so they feel more relaxed and they can trust me. I have a lot of patience when getting to know new dogs, and I really appreciate all the little wins along the way, also if your dog has any special needs. More about my personal life: I'm originally from Copenhagen and moved to Amsterdam three years ago, when my boyfriend got a job here. I took a chance, quit my job and moved. I have learned some dutch, but communicate better in english still. I work in the fashion industry in a creative job. - I currently work full time and commute, so only my weekends are available. - We have an elevator in our building, if we are dog sitting in our apartment.

Niets leuker dan een hond!

Wij hebben altijd veel dieren in huis gehad, niet alleen honden maar ook varkens, schaapen en nog veel meer. Maar honden vond ik altijd het allerleukst. Voor hun kun je zorgen, met hun kun je spelen en ze zijn altijd gelukkig om je te zien. Ik heb 20 jaar ervaring met honden, we hebben huskeys, golden retrievers, border collies en terriers gehad. Helaas heb ik op dit moment zelf geen hond vanwege beperkte tijd en daarom heb ik me voor Petbnb ingeschreven omdat ik het heel erg mis om een hondje in huis te hebben. Ik vind lange wandelingen met honden geweldig, naar het bos, het park of zelfs door de stad. In bed bij mij mag ook maar niet op de bank. Lekker chillen, kroelen en een filmpje samen kijken of een lekker bot halen want die zijn goed voor de tanden. Natuurlijk hoor ik ook graag wat bij het baasje mag want als daar iets niet mag, mag het bij mij natuurlijk ook niet en anders gewoon lekker verwennen en samen spelen :-) ik vertel graag meer indien nodig!

Kees is out permanent roommate, he’s a mini dachshund who loves to play in Vondelpark everyday and make new friends. While working at home I usually walk Kees every 2-3 hours, while going to dog parks almost everyday for a least 30 min. If your dog needs to stay overnight, that won’t be an issue as there is plenty of space here on the boat. Na opgegroeid te zijn met katten begon ik op mijn 13e al mijn eerste honden uitlaatservice voor familie en kennissen. Zo was ik twee jaar lang de vaste oppas voor Beer (kruising). Inmiddels heb ik ruime ervaring met verschillende (kleine en middelgrote) rassen en heb ik een aantal terugkerende oppashondjes. Ik woon in een appartementje aan de rand van het centrum van de stad en kijk tijdens het oppassen altijd uit naar de spelen, knuffelen en de wandelingen naar bijvoorbeeld Bilderdijkpark of Geuzekade. Indien de gasthond houdt van spelen met andere honden heb ik voldoende vrienden met honden die graag een playdate inplannen. Hierbij laten we al-tijd(!) de honden eerst op een veilige manier kennismaken. Ik ben een betrouwbare oppas die haar thuiswerk dagen en vrije tijd gemakkelijk kan aanpassen naar de routine van een gasthond. Verwacht regelmatig updates (met foto’s) gedurende het verblijf van jouw hondje. Note: In verband met mijn relatief kleine appartement op 1-hoog pas ik enkel op kleine en middelgrote rassen die zindelijk zijn.

This is my second time using Danielle, and again she is the BEST dog sitter there is. She has a stash of dog toys and treats at her house that she greets your pet with to make them feel comfortable immediately. She consistently sends pictures/updates of your pup- which is something I love. I honestly think my dog may *almost* prefer her over me.
