Jingyi took really good care of our whippet pup Kira. A home away from home

I’m from India and have been in Amsterdam for a couple of years now. I’ve had dogs (Irish setters) all my life and lost my most precious boy (Casper) in 2021. I’ve had the most beautiful journey of 11 years with my sweet Casper. Through these years, I’ve always wished to take Casper along in my travels but it was not always possible. Now that I’m away from home and miss the biggest part of having the company of a dog, I decided to set up a this account to help pet parents travel stress free and have the confidence that their pet is in good hands. With all that being said, it is obvious that I love dogs and get along with them really well. I’ve had experience with puppies, teenage dogs, senior dogs and each phase is precious in it’s own way so I’m not particular in the phase that they are currently at. All of them are welcome! Onze 2 husky’s, gunna en Odin, gaan inmiddels al langere tijd met heel veel plezier naar Hannah. Afgelopen maand zijn wij een maand op vakantie geweest en hebben de honden ruim drie weken bij haar verbleven. Het is echt ontzettend goed gegaan. Hannah zorgt supergoed voor ze. Ze wandelt veel met ze, houdt rekening met wat ze nodig hebben en zorgt ervoor dat ze zowel fysiek als mentaal genoeg uitdaging en aandacht krijgen. We kregen iedere dag fijne updates, waardoor we met een heel gerust gevoel op reis konden zijn. Ze is ontzettend lief, zorgzaam en voorzichtig met de honden en je merkt aan alles dat ze echt om ze geeft. Gunna en Odin zijn helemaal gek op haar en voelen zich duidelijk heel erg op hun gemak bij haar. We hadden ons geen betere oppas kunnen wensen en zouden Hannah zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanraden. Onze honden blijven absoluut bij haar terugkomen!

Ik heb mijn hele leven lang katten gehad en we hebben ook ervaring met wat minder sociale 'boerderij' katten. Honden hebben we zelf nooit gehad. We hebben sinds 2018 al op meer dan 100 verschillende honden gepast: 1 groot feest :) Ik heb verschillende boeken gelezen over hondengedrag/lichaamstaal en hoe een hond gelukkig te maken. We hebben diverse hondenspeelgoed, knuffels, voer- en waterbakken in huis. Ik werk zelf parttime freelance vanuit huis en heb alle tijd om uw dier de aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdiend! In 2023 zijn we naar Saendelft (Assendelft) verhuisd, waar het heerlijk wandelen is met honden. De wijk wordt omzoomd door een dijk waar verder geen verkeer is en dus naar hartenlust gesnuffeld kan worden. Daar neem ik dan ook graag de tijd voor! ;) In 2026 heb ik de cursus EHBO voor huisdieren met goed gevolg afgrond. Hierdoor ben ik staat om: * Vermoedelijke botbreuken bij huisdieren te herkennen en hier correct op te reageren * Teken te voorkomen, verwijderen en de risico's in te schatten * Ogen veilig uit uitspoelen bij lichte oogirritaties * Kleine oorbeschadigingen te behandelen en een tijdelijk verband aan te brengen * Een tourniquet te gebruiken om ernstige bloedingen te stoppen * Een geïmproviseerde muilkorf voor een hond te maken * Een tijdelijk pootverband aan te leggen * Een klinisch onderzoek uit te voeren Let op: we passen niet op honden jonger dan 1 jaar, op zogenaamde hoog risico honden, wel ben ik bereid om deze honden uit te laten. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We (my husband, a son born in 2008, a daughter born in 2011, and I) are happy to look after your dog(s) and cat(s). Because we do not care for animals from different owners, your dog or cat is assured of personalized care. We can adapt to what your pet is used to at home, so that the transition is less abrupt. This enables me to: * Recognize suspected bone fractures in pets and respond correctly * Prevent and remove ticks and assess the risks * Safely rinse eyes in case of minor eye irritation * Treat minor ear injuries and apply a temporary bandage * Use a tourniquet to stop severe bleeding * Make an improvised muzzle for a dog * Apply a temporary paw bandage * Perform a clinical examination Please note: we do not sit dogs younger than 1 year old, or so-called high-risk dogs; however, I am willing to walk these dogs.

Flexibel en dierenliefhebber

Sinds jongs af aan heb ik veel honden in huis gehad. Het waren voornamelijk honden die gered werden van de armoedige straten in Egypte. Ik heb daarom een grote liefde ontwikkeld voor dieren en voornamelijk honden. Ik ben over het algemeen elke dag beschikbaar en ben als persoon erg flexibel als het gaat om tijd. Wandelen doe ik graag, dus een hond aan mijn zijde hebben voor een paar uurtjes is alleen maar top. Liefdevolle en huiselijke oppassers voor honden

Samen met mijn vriend zorg ik met veel liefde en aandacht voor honden. Hij heeft als kind zelf honden gehad en we passen regelmatig op honden van vrienden, waardoor we gewend zijn aan verschillende rassen en karakters. Onze hond Nobu vindt het heerlijk om met andere hondjes te spelen. Omdat we nog van plan zijn om veel te reizen, kiezen we ervoor om nu geen tweede hond te nemen. Wel lijkt het ons heel leuk om af en toe voor een extra hondje te zorgen en die gezelligheid voor hem te bieden. We hebben een fijne tuin en wonen naast het Vondelpark, dus we gaan graag lekker wandelen en naar buiten. Je hondje is hier nooit alleen en altijd welkom om een dagje (of langer) door te brengen. We begrijpen heel goed dat een kennismaking belangrijk is. Die doen we dan ook graag zodat de hondjes elkaar rustig kunnen ontmoeten. Als het klikt, zorgen we samen voor een ontspannen en leuke dag voor beide honden!
