Ik hou veel van dieren

Ik heb zelf altijd katten gehad en een Engelse bulldog, verder in "co ouderschap" 2 honden die uit Curaçao kwamen. Ik zou zelf heel graag een hond willen maar helaas is dat lastig als je alleen woont en werkt. Dit zou voor mij de ideale oplossing zijn. I am a Venezuelan, 29 years old. I recently moved to a new apartment in The Hague, together with my boyfriend, Rupert (33 years old), and we are so excited because we are allowed pets at home for the first time since we moved from our home country! I grew up with dogs as part of my family and that's the kind of family I wish to have someday in the future. Given my current lifestyle (busy with my work, going frequently to the office), I'd like to wait a bit longer until I have enough time to dedicate to them. I learned how to take care of dogs when I was a little girl. Our family dog, Bicho, stayed with us until I was 12 years old. After that, I was the go-to person to babysit the two dogs of my grandma and thereafter, the puppy of my aunt (all of them schnauzers). And not so long ago, I volunteered at the 'Animal Rescue' organization of Madrid (I studied my bachelor over there), where I'd take care of rescued dogs, take them for walks, and incentivize people to adopt them. My boyfriend also has vast experience with dogs. He was lucky to raise a Weimaraner and have him as his companion for over 10 years, and he currently shares caring responsibilities of his sister's Poodle - they live in Hamburg and we babysit every now and then. When it comes to my availability, I am always available during weekends -24 hours a day. However, if the booking is done some days in advance, arranging having a dog during the week is also possible, as I have the flexibility of working from home, which adds some extra availability for weekdays too. I am looking forward to meeting your dogs and loving them forever.

Domenica was sooo lovely and communicative! We were running late to drop our dogs off before an appointment and she was very accommodating, and so sweet about the dogs. They seemed to have a lovely and safe time, and we hope we will be able to leave them with Domenica again x

Nu ik al geruime tijd weer terug ben ben ik mij blijven inzetten voor dierenleed in Nederland en buitenland, ben ik vrijwilliger geweest voor een slede honden opvang op Cyprus (waar ook lieve Lucy & Jordan vandaan komen) & probeer ik waar mogelijk mensen te helpen met het begeleiden van het uitlaten, los laten lopen, voedingsadvies en vachtverzorging. Het appartement (maisonettewoning) heeft een speciaal ingerichte hondenruimte en ruim balkon. Ik heb verschillende honden van dichtbij leren kennen in de afgelopen jaren en zou graag nog wat vaker in contact komen met honden. During weekends, I often drive to the beach so the dogs can play, explore, and enjoy the sea as well. Dawn took great care of our dog while we were away. She gave him a lot of love and attention and I could tell by the videos he got comfortable really fast, to the point he wanted all attention for himself xD We are very grateful that she had the time and that Spico had a great time as well. I didn't feel the need to keep asking questions because Dawn seemed very reliable and good with dogs. Pepe is also a great company and a delight to be around. Ze vinden het geweldig om hier af en toe een speelmaatje erbij te hebben en ik ook! Daarom zou ik tijdens uw vakantie graag de zorg van uw hond op mij nemen. Uiteraard kijken wij altijd naar de persoonlijke behoeften van uw hond en passen onze activiteiten tijdens de opvang periode aan op het karakter en zijn/haar leeftijd. Uw hond zal overladen worden met liefde en knuffels en worden behandeld als mijn eigen hond. Ik werk vanuit huis en er is hier dus altijd iemand aanwezig. Tijdens de opvang komt uw hond gewoon bij ons in huis en dus niet in een kennel of iets dergelijks. Er liggen een hoop bedjes en kleedjes klaar, maar ze zijn ook welkom op de bank en in bed, maar net wat ze vanuit huis gewend zijn!
