Vanaf jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden. Toen ik ging studeren veranderde dat. Ik miste een beste maatje en viervoeter in huis. Na corona werk ik regelmatig thuis (zoals velen) en heb ik ook een eigen hond(je): een ruwharige dwergteckel Ruby. Aangezien mijn hond graag met andere honden speelt en omgaat, leek me dit een leuke gelegenheid om zelf ook oppas te worden voor andere honden. Mijn dochter van 15 en ik zijn echte hondenliefhebbers. Samen hebben we een pup opgevoed voor KNGF Geleidehonden. Inmiddels doet hij prachtig werk als geleidehond voor een blinde mevrouw. We zijn daar natuurlijk heel trots op, maar missen ook enorm de gezelligheid en het plezier van een hond in huis. Daarom passen we graag af en toe op de hond van iemand anders. We leren de hond het liefst echt een beetje kennen, dus leuk als de hond geregeld komt of een paar dagen komt logeren, zodat hij of zij echt even onderdeel van ons gezin is. We wonen in het centrum van Utrecht en hebben thuis genoeg ruimte, inclusief kleine afgesloten tuin. We wandelen graag en gaan, als dat bij de hond past, met plezier naar een losloopgebied voor een flinke wandeling en lekker snuffelen. Door onze ervaring met het opvoeden van een KNGF-pup zijn we gewend aan honden, structuur, wandelen en goed kijken naar wat een hond nodig heeft. Uiteraard maken we vooraf graag kennis, zodat we kunnen kijken of het voor iedereen goed voelt. We kijken ernaar uit om weer af en toe een hond in huis te hebben!

Hey hallo! Wij willen jou, en vooral jouw trouwe viervoeter, een zeer warm welkom heten in ons nieuwe “GrandPaw Hotel”. Zelf hebben wij altijd honden in huis gehad vroeger. Het is dan ook niet zo gek dat wij helemaal wild zijn van alles wat kwispelt, knuffelt en apporteert. 3 jaar geleden stonden wij echter opeens voor een groot dilemma. Wij woonden net samen, wilden een hond nemen, maar helaas konden wij het totaal niet eens worden over wat voor een hond we wilden! Zodoende was er maar 1 oplossing: We moesten alle rassen uitproberen! Nu spoelen we 3 jaar door, en zijn we tot een bijzondere conclusie gekomen, de ideale hond is er niet, want ze zijn allemaal leuk! Met ons verhuizen naar Loosdrecht, wilden we het zelfs nog beter aanpakken. Nu hebben we een grote tuin waarin de pups kunnen rondrennen, en zitten we aan de bosrand tussen Loosdrecht en Hilversum. En om ons nieuwe verblijf wat kracht bij te zetten, hebben wij ons huis vernoemd naar de de brombeer waarmee ons honden avontuur is begonnen: Bruce, de Opa van “The grandPaw Hotel”

In the house, we also give them puzzles, sniffing games and lickmats. Lately, I have been also making homemade treats which are grain free, with NO preservatives and with natural ingredients. hoi, nou ben ik sowieso al graag buiten en maak graag wandelingen, en al helemaal met een hond. ik doe al een tijdje aan honden oppas en heb al heel wat honden gehad. Vroeger hadden we thuis een hond en mijn beide oma s hadden ook een hond. Na een ziekte probeer ik door beweging terug in vorm te komen, en daar helpt elke dag een wandeling met een hondje bij. Rondje met hondje. Tijd en ruimte dus over. ( na anderhalf jaar hondenoppas is ondertussen mijn energie weer terug) Ik werk nog steeds niet. Ik besef terdege hoe belangrijk je huisdier voor je is en voer slechts uit. Ik zal je dagelijks op de hoogte houden hoe t gaat met je huisdier, dmv kort filmpje/foto. Katten zijn natuurlijk ook welkom, open huis, maar ik heb meer met honden. Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber en heb door deze hobby veel leuke mensen in mijn wijk leren kennen. We live with our young daughter and our friendly female dog, Sira, who gets along well with other dogs. We can only welcome calm, friendly dogs that are comfortable around young children and other dogs. Your dog should also be able to stay home alone for a couple of hours. I grew up with dogs, volunteer at a local dog shelter and regularly attend dog-training sessions. If you live in or around Utrecht, my partner or I may also be able to collect your dog and bring them home by car. We would love to meet beforehand to make sure it is a good match!
