I’ve been surrounded by dogs all my life. When I was seven, my parents returned from a vacation with two German Shepherds—Tarzan and Jane—and they became part of our family. Later we had Cookie, a lively Cocker Spaniel, and, ten years ago, a tiny bug named Dobby. Dobby lives with me in Utrecht. He’s a miniature Pinscher: energetic, friendly with other dogs, cats, and people alike. I work from home, so I’d love for him to have a playmate during the day. Because of his small size and my modest apartment, I’m looking for another small/medium breed companion. I know how hard it is to leave your “kid” with someone you haven’t met yet.
