I’m 25 and grew up with dogs my whole life. In my photo album, you’ll spot a little version of me with Bella, my first dog. She was a rescue, sweet, nervous, and the ultimate cuddle buddy. Not much of a fetch player though. Losing her was my first real heartbreak. Later came Otto, the fluffy white guy in the other photos. He’s my soulmate in dog form. We did everything together. Paula was available to dogsit Enzo in very short notice, and accomodated him amazingly. Not only was it very easy to communicate beforehand, on the day itself I received pictures and regular updates, he had nice long walks and loads of cuddles. Ooit 7 Bali dogs gehad..............:))

Ik heb 13 jaar op Bali gewoond waar ik ooit 7 honden heb gehouden. Voornamelijk Bali dogs die op de stranden of langs de kanten van de weg zijn gedropt. Met veel pijn in mijn hart zijn 5 honden vergiftigd en 2 heb ik moeten laten inslapen. Waarvan de laatste vorig jaar februari. Nu éénmaal terug in Amsterdam mis ik mijn dagelijkse gezelschap van de viervoeter. Daarom wil ik graag zo nu en dan op een hond passen die voldoet aan mijn profiel. Dogs are my favourite people

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

[ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. STOP MET ZOEKEN!

Hier vind u de beste hondenoppas van Amsterdam Oost :) Met een overschot aan liefde en een eindeloos geduld zorg ik voor uw hond. Echter een voorwaarde: hij/zij moet vriendjes worden met mijn kat Morgan. Ik ben veel thuis en heb daarom heel veel tijd om met uw hond te wandelen en knuffelen. Het Flevopark is bij mij om de hoek, daar zullen we veel te vinden zijn. Als het weer meezit kunnen we met de auto naar het bos of het strand. Ik heb veel ervaring met honden, ben opgegroeid met een Engelse Cocker Spaniel en heb na een scheiding co-ouderschap met onze hond Lilly, een kruising tussen een whippet en een greyhound. (Zij is op het moment in het buitenland) Ik heb veel ervaring met het zachte karakter van een whippet, maar het ras maakt me niet uit. Zolang ze maar lief zijn. Omdat ik het erg mis om een hond in huis te hebben heb ik besloten me op te geven als oppas. Uw hond zal met veel liefde verwelkomd worden.

Fantastische zorg voor onze 2 whippets tijdens onze vakantie. We werden op de hoogte gehouden en kregen erg leuke foto's. Bij ons volgende tripje gaan ze zeker weer bij Sofie logeren.😊
