Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile:) My name is Anastasia, and my first word was "a dog." I recently moved from Barcelona to Amsterdam, so my profile on the platform is new, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the four-legged residents of the Netherlands! My goal is to provide the same level of care, love and attention as if you were home and maintain the routine, so that your fur friend feels as comfortable as possible:) Back in 2016, I decided to turn my love for animals into something more constructive that may actually help dogs and their humans, and this is how I became a dog trainer. My approach is based on compassion, positive reinforcement, and understanding animal needs. We don´t punish or tell a dog what NOT to do; we show what we want from a dog and how to achieve it (and even receive a tasty treat!). After working in a dog hotel, volunteering in shelters for many years, and then creating my dog-training project (alongside my husband, who is also a dog trainer), I have deep expertise in creating a safe and loving space for your favourite creatures in the world. Anastasia was in our home for 10 days with our dog Koekie. She was the most loving and kind friend for our furbaby. We got updates and pictures or videos daily. Our dog really had such a good time with her, their energy really matched so well. We saw her multiple times before we went away. Every time Anastasia came, Koekie got so excited and wanted to go with her for nice walks and cuddle time. The house was left so clean too. Overall we highly recommend Anastasia! Rennen, wandelen, spelen om daarna lekker relaxen. Niks leuker dan een contente viervoeter! Ik beleef een fantastische connectie met dieren en heb dan zelf ook altijd dieren gehad. (Honden, katten, konijnen, geiten, vissen, cavia's en hamsters). Het zijn de grootste schatten op aarde. Ik werk op een positieve, beloningsgerichte en volledig force-free manier (R+). Voor mij draait het om zachte begeleiding. Deze manier van wandelen is ook heel geschikt voor honden die wat extra ondersteuning kunnen gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld omdat ze ouder zijn, lichamelijke ongemakken hebben of extra begeleiding op gedragsmatig gebied nodig hebben. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. When I lived in Spain, I volunteered at dog shelters, and while I was in Colombia, I was part of an association that fed stray dogs. I’m a fitness instructor at SportCity, so I’m naturally very active and enjoy movement and being outdoors.
