Uw hond/kat profiteert van mijn onregelmatige baan

Per 1 oktober 2026 ben ik (IN OVERLEG) weer beschikbaar voor dagopvang en logeren bij mij thuis.🙏🏻 IK KAN MAX 1 MAAND VOORUITKIJKEN, AANPASSING WEKELIJKS! Omdat ik vanwege mijn onregelmatige baan zelf geen hond kan bezitten is dit uniek en ideaal om te doen aangezien het mes aan 2 kanten snijdt! Ik heb tijd en ruimte genoeg om uw hond goed te leren kennen en echt hond te laten zijn: ze krijgen alle vrijheid en aandacht van mij. Ik ben in het bezit van een groot huis met tuin en een auto om naar het nabijgelegen strand of bos te gaan. Natuurlijk is gewoon lekker rustig thuis blijven ook een optie. Bij u aan huis komen oppassen is binnen een gepaste straal geen probleem: soms is een hond en zeker een kat het liefst en veiligst in zijn/haar eigen huis! Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en katten, ik werk als vrijwilliger in het dierenasiel en privé pas ik op de nodige honden van vrienden. Al uw wensen zijn bespreekbaar, maar staan en vallen allereerst met het vertrouwen, dat er moet zijn tussen mens en dier. Als u vragen heeft, neem gerust contact met me op!

Ik maak al langere tijd gebruik van de diensten van Barbara. Zij kijkt goed naar de behoefte van mijn hond en speelt hier op in. Wanneer ik weet dat zij die dag komt maak ik me geen moment op de dag zorgen; ik weet dat het hoe dan ook goed komt!

Hi! My name is Lynn, and I’m an animal lover currently living in Leiden. I am a phd student whose main task is writing up her phd dissertation. As a result, I could have a very flexible schedule and I could work from home to stay with pets. I truly miss having animals around me and would love to spend more time caring for cats and dogs. I noticed that I got a review with very positive content but only 4 paws in rating. I am a bit confused about this. Is it because an accidentally wrong click or something? But no worries I know that I am the best sitter and I take best care of the animals and I reply messages very quick and I update a lot of photos and videos. I give a lot of attention and cuddle them a lot. I speak to them with the softest voice. I follow the instructions well and I am always willing to do more. I love and take care of the animals not just I want a nice review record but I truly love them. I'll be a bit sad if I am gonna miss some adorable animals because of this 4 paws review. No I need 15 more 5-paw reviews to go back to 5-paw 😭 IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST: I usually responde fast, and I appreciate EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION that you can save your time to company your fluffy boys and girls more. We value each other's time. I only speak English. My place is only a 42 m2 appartment with a seperate bedroom. Not a good choice for villa dogs. I live in an apartment. As a result, I can't accept dogs with barking issues. This is a red flag for my neighbors. I usually don't accept dogs with separation anxieties. In special situation you can ask and I can prepare myself. I can only accept one dog at a time. It depends on your preferences that you can state clearly. My recently experience showed that dogs can make friends immediately and enjoy each other. They can calm down or feel relaxed quicker than staying with a sitter alone. However, my family dog doesn't like sharing humans with other dogs. He will be a bit jealous. So it depends. I care about the tidiness of the house in a way that both pets and humans can enjoy a nice living space. I allow pets on sofa and furnitures and on my laps. I would like to cuddle them a lot. As a result, I would clean the paws after each walk using a soft wet wipe in a very gentle way. If your pet doesn't like paws being touched, then I am not a suitable sitter for them. For safety reasons, I don't accept boys and girls who are heavier than 25kg. Otherwise I may have difficulties in unusual situations where I need to carry/lift them. IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN ME, here is my background: My family has a cream-colored Shiba Inu who is incredibly adorable. I also have hands-on experience caring for a British Shorthair silver shaded cat, whom I looked after for several months while helping a friend. During that time, I was responsible for daily feeding, litter cleaning, and providing companionship, while keeping the cat comfortable and relaxed in its usual routine. Animals have always been an important part of my life. My mom is especially good at caring for animals — from chicks, birds, and rabbits to dogs — and she has always taken excellent care of them. Growing up in that environment, I believe I’ve inherited her patience, sense of responsibility, and genuine love for animals. When babysitting, I focus on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and calm interaction based on their energy level. For cats, I respect their personality — whether they enjoy active play or prefer quiet company. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention. Before each stay, I’m happy to arrange a visit or meet-up with you and your pets so we can go through any important details together. I truly appreciate it when owners share their pets’ preferences, habits, and routines — every boy and girl is unique, and understanding what they like helps me provide better, more personalized care. I pay close attention to safety, hygiene, and the well-being of each animal, and I’m always willing to adapt my care to different personalities or special needs. DogSister - óók voor de poes!

Mijn kennis is gebaseerd op intuïtie en gezond verstand. In de loop van de tijd heb ik veel ervaring mogen opdoen met het begeleiden van honden en hun baasjes, door liefdevol af te stemmen op de behoeftes van het dier. * I'm fluent in English * Je parle Français couramment * Ich spreche ein wenig Deutsch LET OP: de vergoeding die automatisch wordt gecalculeerd klopt meestal niet. Helaas kan ik dit niet voorkomen. Ik kom graag naar jouw huis om voor je hond te zorgen. Vaak is het beter om een hond in de eigen vertrouwde omgeving te laten wanneer de baas een poosje weggaat. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer een hond ziek is of net geopereerd, of nogal oud of juist heel jong, of hij/zij heeft misschien een gebruiksaanwijzing of kan niet goed alleen zijn. Of er is helemaal niets aan de hand en is-tie hartstikke braaf - dat kan natuurlijk ook! Minstens vier keer per dag doen we een wandeling, ik speel spelletjes die voor jouw hond geschikt zijn, natuurlijk wordt er volop geknuffeld en uiteraard zorg ik voor de nodige rust. Als je wilt kan ik je op de hoogte houden van hoe het met je hond gaat, door je regelmatig berichtjes en foto's te sturen. De meeste baasjes vinden dat wel fijn, zeker in het begin. Dat kan ik ook goed begrijpen, want het is toch een hele stap om je hond aan een ander toe te vertrouwen. Behalve opvang voor de hond geef ik ook coaching en training voor baasje & hond samen. Ik heb veel ervaring met puppies, maar ook met dove honden en honden die dementeren. Verder kan ik helpen bij diverse opvoedingsproblemen (zelfs op latere leeftijd), waaronder trauma's, prooinijd, verlatingsangst en natuurlijk trekken aan de lijn. In geval van zeer ernstige gedragsstoornissen moet ik weleens doorverwijzen. Mijn tarieven kunnen voor iedere hond en situatie weer anders zijn, dus let niet op het bedrag wat automatisch bij je aanvraag verschijnt. Bijvoorbeeld: voor een wekelijkse lange wandeling vraag ik meestal €25, maar als ik in de vakantie drie weken bij een hond logeer dan tel ik €50 per dag. Voor een tweede of derde hond van hetzelfde baasje reken ik natuurlijk niet het volle pond! Van tevoren spreek ik altijd af om uitgebreid kennis te maken en daarna doe ik een voorstel. Logeren bij honden doe ik tijdens de schoolvakanties ook buiten Leiden. Mijn beschikbaarheid op de PetBnB kalender houd ik niet altijd precies bij. This is the third year that Shikz helped us taking care of our cat by regular drop-in visits. She has never disappointed us and we can clearly feel how she likes animals. Ervaren honden opasser van verschillende rassen!

Vakantie opvang is altijd mogelijk! Berichtje sturen kan altijd! Heb al meerdere oppas adresjes in de buurt gehad zowel honden; katten; papagaaien en andere kooi dieren. Uiteraard heb ik referenties. Ben zelf een echte dieren liefhebster en honden uitlaten is ook nog eens goed voor m'n conditie, vind het fijn om te lopen. Uitlaat service aan huis loop ik tussen de 30 en 45 minuten. (Afhankelijk van het weer , conditie en leeftijd van de hond(en) na het wandelen doe ik (naar wens van het baasje) nog even knuffelen, snoepje/eten geven en het water verversen. Ik hou van de liefde en de aandacht die de beestjes geven; zowel groot en klein. Ik kan medicijnen toe dienen, ben niet bang voor (blaffende) honden en als het moet kan ik ze corrigeren. Dit hangt af van wat de baasjes graag willen en wat de wensen zijn . Het is alleen wel een pre dat de hond zindelijk is en geen plasjes in huis doet. Ook verwachten wij van de hond(en) dat ze niet achter de katten aan rennen. De katten wonen hier, en dit is hun 'veilige plek ' en dit wil ik graag zo houden. In mijn advertentie staat geen grote honden, maar wij hebben vaker op grotere honden gepast en doen dit nog steeds maar wel met honden die rustig zijn (vaak wat meer op leeftijd) aangezien wij in een appartement wonen en geen tuin hebben! (met kleine hondjes is dit geen punt) Stuur mij anders een berichtje, dan kunnen we verder kijken of er een klik is en eventueel afspreken! Groetjes Jorana Let wel op dat er 2 katten in huis zijn, de hond moet ik wel mee om kunnen gaan (niet achter ze aan rennen ect) Ook nemen we alleen zindelijke honden aan, we lopen elke 4 uur met de hond dus hier zal het niet aan liggen. ## We have 2 cats in the house! ##

Voorliefde voor de "moeilijkere" honden.

Hoi ik ben Dominique. Ik woon samen met mijn vriend en wij hebben een 5 jarig zoontje. We wonen vlak bij het strand en de duinen, dus ruimte genoeg voor een goeie wandeling. Ik heb zelf 7 jaar een pitbull gehad en 4 jaar een cane corso. Beide met gedragsproblematiek, waardoor ik hiermee bekend ben en weet hoe dat aan te pakken. Ik prefereer oppassen/uitlaten van moeilijke honden, dit omdat uit mijn eigen ervaring dit heel moeilijk te vinden is voor een redelijke prijs. Andere honden zijn uiteraard ook welkom, maar schroom niet om contact op te nemen wanneer je hond dier agressief gedrag vertoont en hiermee rekening gehouden moet worden. Ik sta mijn mannetje wel! Vanwege de veiligheid van mijn zoontje, dit staat natuurlijk voorop, is een test met de hond(indien gedragsproblemen) wel een verplichting. **last minute boekingen kunnen ivm verandering planning en drukte geweigerd worden, of iets duurder uitkomen.

Dominique took wonderful care of Fido while we were away. We picked up a healthy, happy and relaxed boy, which gave us such peace of mind during our trip. Dominique was very attentive to Fido and took the time to observe his habits and personality, adapting her care to what he needed. Ik ben opgegroeid met veel verschillende dieren (waaronder zoogdieren) en hield vooral van en miste tijd doorbrengen met katten. Ik heb katten en honden gehad sinds ik een kind was. Ik woon in Leiden, en ik werkte als onderzoeker aan de Universiteit Leiden. Nu doe ik een (tweede) master in Leiden. Ik ben al meer dan 5 jaar dierenoppas als bijbaan (2,5 jaar in NL oftewel ik kan je referenties geven). Op de universiteit hebben mijn huisgenoten en ik zelfs wekenlang voor geredde katten in onze studentenkamer gezorgd als dat niet was toegestaan. Dus ik ben best goed in het maken van ruimte voor ze, ook al is het echt moeilijk. :) In mijn geboorteland heb ik ook vaak op de huisdieren van mijn buren gepast en heb ik meer dan tien jaar ervaring met dieren. Ik woon in een relatief groot en veilig appartement. Ik heb geen vaste baan van 9 tot 5, dus ik kan voor uw huisdieren zorgen en de hele dag zorg, liefde en genegenheid bieden! Ruby came by for an introduction a week ago and stayed in our house this weekend to take care of the cats and dog, she did a wonderful job, even though the dog is not easy, she is a puller and loves to chase birds, but Ruby managed really well! Ruby gave us regular updates with pics and videos, and left the house very neat. We would definitely ask her again, she is great, we came home to find very happy pets!! 😍

Hi! I’m Naz, a 20-year-old Psychology student living in Leiden. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have always loved taking care of them. Back home in Turkey, my family currently has two cats and three dogs, so caring for pets has been a big part of my life since I was little. I’d be happy to take your dog for 30–60 minute walks, play with them, give them lots of attention and make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away or busy. If your pet needs medication, I’m also comfortable giving it as instructed. Our house is spacious and clean, and it is pretty much like a doggy spa where they are getting endless cuddles and lots of massages in a very zen environment. :) We also have a small back garden (fully-fenced). We both love animals very much and we are hoping to get some new furry, 4-legged friends to cuddle! P.S. Please note that I do not accept dogs that are not house-trained (puppies that still didn't learn not to pee in the house).

Ik ben een ongelovelijke dierenvriend, ik heb dan ook zelf 4 konijnen waar ik met passie voor zorg. Ik lees mij nog elke dag in over wat het beste is voor de konijnen en wat ze graag naast hun voer willen hebben. Omdat er bij mij thuis allergieën zijn kan ik zelf helaas nooit een hond of kat houden, daarom vind ik oppassen zo leuk, omdat ik dan met dieren ben. Ik heb eerder opgepast op de hond van mijn oma, de hond en kat van mijn schoonmoeder en de konijnen en katten van mijn buren. Ik doe dit met liefde en zorg dat er ook tijd is om te knuffelen en/of spelen. Zelf pas ik de hele maand Juni op de hond van mijn oma, ik zit daar dan ook in huis. Ook heb ik ervaring met paarden, ik heb 4 jaar lang verzorgpaarden gehad waar ik af en toe op reedt. Ik vind het erg fijn om lange wandelingen te maken met de hond in het bos of op het strand. Ik beschik over een eigen auto dus kan hier makkelijk heen. Ik doe momenteel de studie fysiotherapie, en mijn eind doel is dierenfysiotherapie. Ik vind het dus erg interessant om te observeren hoe het dier loopt en hoe het dier zich gedraagt. Hiermee kan ik dus ook merken wanneer er iets mis is. Wat natuurlijk heel handig is als u weg bent, zo hoeft u u geen zorgen te maken, uw dier is in goede handen! Ik hoop dat ik u kan helpen met het oppassen op uw dieren!

Yana heeft ons super lief op de hoogte gehouden, met leuke foto's. We zullen voor een volgende keer Yana zeker weer willen vragen.
