I’m Argentinian, married, and I live in Amsterdam with my husband and our three-year-old son. We have our own home and would love to welcome a dog into our family. Work from home dog lovers

Jose and myself are both pet lovers who grew up around animals. Sadly, we do not have enough space at the moment to have a pet for a long-period. That’s why we think that this concept is brilliant! We could look after your pet if you have tight schedule or simply want to go for a holiday. While occasional work travel makes a permanent pet infeasible, we would love to welcome your pooch into our home! We both mostly work from home, so are on-hand to give your fur baby all the attention they need. Due to the work from home situation, we are unable to look after loud dogs.

I am a retired civil engineer, and moved to Amsterdam 6 months ago. I currently have two cats, and used to have a lab-chow mix. I have sat for both dogs and cats, and love animals. Once I've made a commitment, I follow through. I'll take great care of your pets, either cats or dogs. If walking your dog, we can go for a jog or walk around the Vondelpark. In Houston, I was known by my friends as the Cat Whisperer. Now I guess I will become I The Cat Whisperer of Amsterdam! I am a certified professional dog trainer. I have experience with challenging dogs and can help with whatever your dog's challenge, be it separation anxiety, barking, lunging at joggers or other behaviors. Even my own lab-chow mix, Dante, was aggressive around small dogs (she saw them as prey) and had separation anxiety. She was able to respond to voice commands and learned how to heel. We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. I am happy to consult with you about your dog's issues. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals. My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

I absolutely adore dogs and cats, and I really enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. Whether it’s taking a leisurely walk or playing with them in the park, every moment spent with these animals is pure joy. Although I don’t have a lot of space at home, I’m lucky to have a garden where they can play and relax. Plus, living so close to the Noorderplantsoen is a real bonus. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll or an energetic game of fetch, making sure the dog gets plenty of exercise and fresh air. Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Ik ben geboren op dierendag, dus wellicht dat ik daarom zo gek ben op dieren. Maar ook omdar ik ben opgegroeid met heel veel katten en honden. In mijn familie hebben we een aantal generaties Hollandse en Mechelse herders gehad, een Rhodesian, Jack Russell en ik heb zelf vorig jaar mijn hond Raya geadopteerd in Mexico. Omdat ik zelf terugga over een half jaar heb ik besloten om haar daar te laten. In de tussentijd pas ik graag op andere honden en zorg ik graag voor ze. Ik heb Raya zelf veel geleerd en onlangs ook de 7 jarige Mechelse herder van mijn broer aan het stoppen gekregen met trekken aan de riem. Gek op honden, katten en lange wandelingen!

Hoi! Ik ben gek op dieren en word vooral heel blij van honden en katten. Toen ik nog bij mijn ouders woonde, hadden we een hond waar ik altijd veel voor heb gezorgd. Ik ben dus gewend om een hond uit te laten, eten te geven, mee te spelen en natuurlijk lekker veel aandacht te geven. Ik vind het superleuk om weer wat vaker dieren om me heen te hebben! Ik hou ervan om lekker naar buiten te gaan en lange wandelingen te maken, dus een hond meenemen is voor mij alleen maar gezelliger. Ook vind ik het leuk om met dieren te spelen, ze aandacht te geven en lekker te knuffelen als ze daar zelf zin in hebben. Ik sta open voor zowel honden als katten en vind het vooral belangrijk dat een dier zich bij mij op zijn gemak voelt. Ik pas me graag aan aan wat jouw huisdier gewend is en wat hij of zij nodig heeft.

And of course I will sent you photo/video/text updates so you are assured your furry sweetheart has the best time ever. Your dog will be walked at least two to three times a day (depending on how long the sitting lasts). Your pup may be left alone 2 hours max. There are no other pets in my home. I live on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator, so be aware your dog needs to be able to take stairs or is fine with being carried. Hoi Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb altijd een hond thuis gehad. Omdat ik fulltime werk, heb ik helaas niet genoeg tijd om zelf een hond te nemen.
