I am a retired civil engineer, and moved to Amsterdam 6 months ago. I currently have two cats, and used to have a lab-chow mix. I have sat for both dogs and cats, and love animals. Once I've made a commitment, I follow through. I'll take great care of your pets, either cats or dogs. If walking your dog, we can go for a jog or walk around the Vondelpark.

I am a certified professional dog trainer. I have experience with challenging dogs and can help with whatever your dog's challenge, be it separation anxiety, barking, lunging at joggers or other behaviors. Even my own lab-chow mix, Dante, was aggressive around small dogs (she saw them as prey) and had separation anxiety. She was able to respond to voice commands and learned how to heel. We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals.

My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!
