For as long as I can remember I've had dogs of my own, fostered rescue dogs, and helped friends/family with their pets. I love interacting with dogs and learning new things about them. A few years ago, I figured out that dogsitting was a great fit for my lifestyle and never looked back! When your dog comes to stay with me, they will become a member of the family alongside my own dog: Merlin, a Spanish greyhound mix! He is balanced, calm and social. Other dogs naturally look to him as a role model, and he is delighted to play the part. Together, we will take walks in Haagse Bos or Scheveningen beach, cuddle on the couch, run errands in dog-friendly spaces like the gardening center, or visit friends... I work hybrid between my home and my office (which is a 15 minute bike ride away). This gives me flexibility to offer the following services: 🛌 Boarding 🛌 - The quoted price per day guarantees a minimum of two 20-30 minute walks, and one 45-60 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. - An extra guaranteed 20-30 minute walk can be purchased for an additional €7 per day. - You will receive daily photo/video updates about your dog during their first stay. Repeat clients can get daily updates upon request, otherwise updates will be every 1-3 days. - I have to be at my office a couple of days per week. If your need me to look after your dog during periods that include office days, they need to be okay to stay at home with Merlin for up to 8 hours. Upon request, I am able to bike home during my lunch break to let your dog out for an additional €7 per office day. - Extra guaranteed walks must be requested and paid for before the booking begins. 🌞 Doggie Daycare 🌞 - The quoted price for this service applies to Tuesdays and Thursdays during office hours. - Drop-off in the morning is flexible, pickup has to be before 18h. - For doggie daycare outside of the described times, a different price applies based on the specifics of the desired booking. Feel free to reach out if you have different needs! - The quoted price guarantees one 20-30 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. Depending on my schedule and yours, your dog might get a second walk. - Extra guaranteed walks cannot be purchased for this service. - New daycare clients will receive one photo/video update per stay, regular clients will receive them upon request. 🏡 Housesitting 🏡 - For this service I will stay in your home overnight with your pets. - The same conditions apply as Boarding, with the addition that my dog Merlin must be able to stay with me and your pets at your home. - I am also experienced with cats, and a different daily price can be negotiated for them. 🐶 General 🐶 - A 'Guaranteed Walk' refers to the minimum daily walks that your dog will get during their stay. Some days we might walk more, but never less. Extra walks which weren't requested & paid for before the booking started won't be charged extra, so there will never be any surprise charges for walks at the end of the booking. - Dogs will only be let off the leash with permission of the owner and if I fully trust them to stay nearby, in spaces where this is allowed. Special walking instructions will always be followed, unless doing so risks a dangerous situation. - Dogs are allowed on the sofa. Access to the bed comes with the condition of good behavior. - If a dog needs any meals during their stay, the owner must provide the food. I can provide bowls and fresh water. - Dogs will not be given human food at any point during their stay. They will only be given dog treats with permission from the owner. - Due to high demand during the school holiday periods, I do not offer boarding and house-sitting in those dates to new clients. This includes the Summer holidays, Autumn Midterm break, Christmas holidays, February break, and Spring break. This way I can guarantee a place to stay to dogs who are already familiar with me and my home, which is better for them than having to adapt to a new place every time. - The owner is responsible for informing me about any behavioral or health issues their dog might have. This allows me to prepare a safe and comfortable environment for them ahead of time. Undisclosed issues that cause problems during the dog's stay will result in refusal to accept future bookings, and the cancellation of other existing bookings. If you're not sure whether a particular behavior could be considered an issue, be sure to mention it to me anyways. - If your dog is very senior or has any serious health issues that increase the risk of emergencies, I require extended instructions on what to do if there's an emergency and you are not reachable. These instructions should be provided in writing before the booking starts. - Any veterinary costs made by the dog during their stay that aren't covered by the petbnb guarantees, are to be paid by the owner. - By booking with me you agree to the terms stipulated in this text. I have a lot of experience caring for sick cats, pregnant cats, kittens, and puppies. I can give injections to cats, kittens, and dogs if needed, and I have also assisted in cat neutering surgeries. We love dogs of all sizes—small and large. Besides caring for animals, I am a professional musician. I have a diploma as a music teacher, orchestra artist, and ensemble performer. I also have three years of experience teaching music at a school, working with children aged 6 to 16. I come from a family of educators—my mother and grandmother were both teachers. I am currently learning Dutch, but for now, I can only speak English and Russian, and I understand some Dutch. Mike has had dogs since childhood. Dogs can be separated—in different rooms or in the same room with a barrier, ensuring they have their privacy and rest from playing. It depends on each guest’s personality and needs. For example, if two dogs of similar age and size enjoy playing together, why should we stop them from having fun? (Of course, under my supervision!) But if your dog is older and needs more rest than a puppy, we will make sure they can relax away from younger dogs. Our main focus is your dog’s safety, health, and emotional well-being. 3. If you want your dog to become more social, this is the perfect environment! Your pet will be surrounded by friendly dogs who won’t react to irritation or grumpiness. Dogs learn from each other very quickly, becoming more social and overcoming past fears. 4. We live on the second floor. If your dog doesn’t know how to use stairs, you’ll be surprised at how quickly they learn from other dogs! Some even love running up and down, haha. 5. Our apartment is next to two beautiful parks—just a 1-minute walk away. We are also 10 minutes by car from the beach and another large park where dogs can run off-leash (unless they plan to swim!). Per 1 oktober 2026 ben ik (IN OVERLEG) weer beschikbaar voor dagopvang en logeren bij mij thuis.🙏🏻 IK KAN MAX 1 MAAND VOORUITKIJKEN, AANPASSING WEKELIJKS! Omdat ik vanwege mijn onregelmatige baan zelf geen hond kan bezitten is dit uniek en ideaal om te doen aangezien het mes aan 2 kanten snijdt! Ik heb tijd en ruimte genoeg om uw hond goed te leren kennen en echt hond te laten zijn: ze krijgen alle vrijheid en aandacht van mij. Ik ben in het bezit van een groot huis met tuin en een auto om naar het nabijgelegen strand of bos te gaan. Natuurlijk is gewoon lekker rustig thuis blijven ook een optie. Bij u aan huis komen oppassen is binnen een gepaste straal geen probleem: soms is een hond en zeker een kat het liefst en veiligst in zijn/haar eigen huis! Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en katten, ik werk als vrijwilliger in het dierenasiel en privé pas ik op de nodige honden van vrienden. Al uw wensen zijn bespreekbaar, maar staan en vallen allereerst met het vertrouwen, dat er moet zijn tussen mens en dier. Als u vragen heeft, neem gerust contact met me op!

Ik maak al langere tijd gebruik van de diensten van Barbara. Zij kijkt goed naar de behoefte van mijn hond en speelt hier op in. Wanneer ik weet dat zij die dag komt maak ik me geen moment op de dag zorgen; ik weet dat het hoe dan ook goed komt!

I noticed that I got a review with very positive content but only 4 paws in rating. I am a bit confused about this. Is it because an accidentally wrong click or something? But no worries I know that I am the best sitter and I take best care of the animals and I reply messages very quick and I update a lot of photos and videos. I give a lot of attention and cuddle them a lot. I speak to them with the softest voice. I follow the instructions well and I am always willing to do more. I love and take care of the animals not just I want a nice review record but I truly love them. I'll be a bit sad if I am gonna miss some adorable animals because of this 4 paws review. No I need 15 more 5-paw reviews to go back to 5-paw 😭 IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST: I usually responde fast, and I appreciate EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION that you can save your time to company your fluffy boys and girls more. We value each other's time. I only speak English. My place is only a 42 m2 appartment with a seperate bedroom. Not a good choice for villa dogs. I live in an apartment. As a result, I can't accept dogs with barking issues. This is a red flag for my neighbors. I usually don't accept dogs with separation anxieties. In special situation you can ask and I can prepare myself. I can only accept one dog at a time. It depends on your preferences that you can state clearly. My recently experience showed that dogs can make friends immediately and enjoy each other. They can calm down or feel relaxed quicker than staying with a sitter alone. However, my family dog doesn't like sharing humans with other dogs. He will be a bit jealous. So it depends. I care about the tidiness of the house in a way that both pets and humans can enjoy a nice living space. I allow pets on sofa and furnitures and on my laps. I would like to cuddle them a lot. As a result, I would clean the paws after each walk using a soft wet wipe in a very gentle way. If your pet doesn't like paws being touched, then I am not a suitable sitter for them. For safety reasons, I don't accept boys and girls who are heavier than 25kg. Otherwise I may have difficulties in unusual situations where I need to carry/lift them. IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED IN ME, here is my background: My family has a cream-colored Shiba Inu who is incredibly adorable. I also have hands-on experience caring for a British Shorthair silver shaded cat, whom I looked after for several months while helping a friend. During that time, I was responsible for daily feeding, litter cleaning, and providing companionship, while keeping the cat comfortable and relaxed in its usual routine. Animals have always been an important part of my life. My mom is especially good at caring for animals — from chicks, birds, and rabbits to dogs — and she has always taken excellent care of them. Growing up in that environment, I believe I’ve inherited her patience, sense of responsibility, and genuine love for animals. When babysitting, I focus on following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and calm interaction based on their energy level. For cats, I respect their personality — whether they enjoy active play or prefer quiet company. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention. Before each stay, I’m happy to arrange a visit or meet-up with you and your pets so we can go through any important details together. I truly appreciate it when owners share their pets’ preferences, habits, and routines — every boy and girl is unique, and understanding what they like helps me provide better, more personalized care. I pay close attention to safety, hygiene, and the well-being of each animal, and I’m always willing to adapt my care to different personalities or special needs. lynn took so good care of my puppie herbie, and I noticed lynn likes to be well informed and pays attention to all details which can be important to be able to take care in the best way. she sent me pictures and little video's, which made me feel happy, to see everything is going smoothly and cosy. thank you lynn!

Ik heb veel huisdieren gehad. Van goudvis tot hond. Door het werl van mijn vader verhuisden we veel en konden de huisdieren niet altijd mee. Nu woon ik alweer een tijdje in Lisse. Mijn 3 kids en ik hebben al vaak op honden van buren gepast. We hebben een fijn huis met een aardige tuin. Op het nabijgelegen hondenuitlaat veldje is er altijd een speelkameraadje te vinden en voor langere wandelingen gaan we naar het strand, bos of Venneper hout Beschikbaarheid is wisselend vanwege werk en kinderen. Het liefst passen wij op honden die gewend zijn aan een gezinssituatie. Er is altijd een volwassene bij als de hond uitgelaten wordt.

Lou heeft 2 fantastische weken bij Ellen Gehad. Ellen heeft ons met filmpjes op de hoogte gehouden, zodat wij met een fijn gevoel op vakantie zijn geweest. Laat Lou lekker buiten spelen, zwemmen en hond zijn. Ze is absoluut geen aandacht te kort gekomen! Volgende keer zullen we Ellen zeker weer vragen!

Ervaren vakantie-oppas wonend aan bos/duin/strand

Mijn naam is Annette en ik ben het gelukkige baasje van Sam (2 jaar ) en Jack (1,5 jaar). Ik woon heerlijk aan de overkant van het Noordwijkse bos & duin en 1 kilometer lopen van het strand (waar ze het hele jaar los mogen lopen). Mijn tuin is omheind, en zelfs de kleinste Houdini kan daar niet uit ontsnappen (wat uitgebreid getest is door Jack). Minstens 1 keer per dag ga ik naar het strand of naar het losloopgebied in het bos/duin, waar ze lekker kunnen spelen met andere hondjes. Zowel Sam als Jack, vinden het geweldig om nog meer speelkameraadjes te hebben, en zelf geniet ik ook altijd van de logees die ik heb gehad. Daarom is een extra vriendje is altijd welkom! Zowel binnen als buiten heb ik een trapje zodat kleinere of oudere hondjes makkelijk op de bank kunnen klimmen. Op warme dagen kan ik het hondenzwembad neerzetten voor wat afkoeling. Voor eventueel oudere logees heb ik een hondenbuggy tot mijn beschikking. Ik kan mijn hondjes en logees alle aandacht geven die ze nodig hebben en kan flexibel zijn met het wandelschema van de logee. Hondjes mogen niet in bed, maar als het prettiger is voor de logees, mogen ze wel in hun mand/bench in de slaapkamer slapen. Kortom ik zal er alles aan doen om uw hondje de tijd van zijn/haar leven te geven. Ik kijk er naar uit om kennis te maken! Voor toekomstige logees hanteer ik de volgende aanvullende criteria; - Hypoallergene hondjes met een maximaal gewicht van 10 kilo - Volledig gevaccineerd inclusief kennelhoest. Voor ieders welzijn & veiligheid, kan ik helaas geen hondjes accepteren die (vermoedelijke) een besmettelijke ziekte onder de leden hebben. In zo’n geval ben ik genoodzaakt de boeking te annuleren.

Laat Tibby met een goed gevoel achter bij Annette, zo lief voor honden en zo leuk dat je foto's en filmpjes met een verslag van wat je hond allemaal aan t doen is die dag, en je ziet dat je hond het naar zijn zin hebt. Kom zeker terug!

Ervaren hondenbaasjes zoeken naar logeerhondjes

Wij (mijn vriendin en ik) wonen sinds kort samen en zijn allebei dol op honden. Wij hebben bij onze ouders thuis altijd honden gehad toen we nog bij hen woonden. We hebben dus al veel ervaring met het zorgen voor viervoeters! Het liefst nemen we zelf ook zo snel mogelijk een eigen hond, maar omdat we soms allebei een dag niet thuis zijn is dat nu nog niet handig. Op de dagen dat we wel thuis zijn, willen we daarom heel graag wat honden te gast hebben! Ons huis zit op de begane grond een heeft een grote open woonkamer/keuken, waardoor wij altijd in dezelfde ruimte zijn als de honden en ze goed gezelschap kunnen houden :) Wij helpen andere hondeneigenaren graag door een dagje oppas te zijn. De helft van onze opbrengsten doneren we aan goede dierenwelzijn doelen!

Mijn hond Cosmo heeft een fijne dag gehad bij Thomas en Margot. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Fijne wandelingen met een echte dierenliefhebber

Ik ben dol op hondjes, maar door mijn werk kan ik er zelf geen hebben omdat ik vaak van huis ben. Daarom leek PetBnB me een fantastische tussen oplossing! Wandelen met honden geeft mij echt plezier en energie. Ik geniet ervan om buiten te zijn en te zien hoe een hondje bijvoorbeeld kan genieten van het strand, waar ik vlakbij woon. Mijn vriendinnen noemen me een dierenfluisteraar; dieren voelen zich snel op hun gemak bij mij. Of het nu gaat om een energieke wandeling (kort of lang), spelletjes in de tuin, knuffelen of gewoon gezelschap houden, ik doe alles met veel liefde en aandacht. Ik vind het heerlijk om een band op te bouwen met jouw hond en er samen een vrolijke, veilige en plezierige ervaring van te maken. Ik heb zelf een kat thuis, maar heb voldoende ervaring om dit goed te combineren met honden (mits het geen hondje is dat echt niet met katten kan). Ik heb veel opgepast op honden van vrienden en kennissen, en dat vind ik altijd geweldig. Ik begrijp hoe spannend het kan zijn om je hond aan iemand anders toe te vertrouwen. Daarom neem ik die verantwoordelijkheid altijd heel serieus. Ik respecteer alle afspraken, routines en aanwijzingen van het baasje; van voeding en wandelingen tot rustmomenten en regels in en buitenshuis. Met aandacht, liefde én zorgvuldigheid zorg ik ervoor dat zowel hond als baasje zich veilig en op hun gemak voelen. Schroom niet om me te benaderen met vragen!

Lysanne has been such a huge help with our new puppy. She has great communication and has always be reliable. She has been really helpful with commands and our puppy has loved when she comes. She is great!

Hi, I am Iva! I have a PhD in biology and I LOVE all animals! I have my own company and I work from home so your pet will hardly ever be alone if you leave him/her with me. I am experienced with taking care of various animals as I grew up having many pets: 2 dogs, 3 cats, 4 rodents, 5 parrots, and 1 tarantula, and taking care of stray cats and dogs. I am traveling a lot because of work and unfortunately can't have my own pets anymore but I would be happy to take care of yours. Animals love me and I love them! I am familiar with dog training techniques and I was looking after more than 100 dogs so far. I am responsible, organized, and sporty and I like playing and running with dogs. I live with my partner in the center of Leiden. We both love being outdoors and taking long walks with dogs at the beach, city parks and in the forest. Our house is spacious and clean, and it is pretty much like a doggy spa where they are getting endless cuddles and lots of massages in a very zen environment. :) We also have a small back garden (fully-fenced). We both love animals very much and we are hoping to get some new furry, 4-legged friends to cuddle! P.S. Please note that I do not accept dogs that are not house-trained (puppies that still didn't learn not to pee in the house).

Jip had a wonderful time with Iva again! She is a truly lovely and good sitter. Jip came home very relaxed. It is so nice when your dog is doing well while you are on vacation. DogSister - óók voor de poes!

Mijn kennis is gebaseerd op intuïtie en gezond verstand. In de loop van de tijd heb ik veel ervaring mogen opdoen met het begeleiden van honden en hun baasjes, door liefdevol af te stemmen op de behoeftes van het dier. * I'm fluent in English * Je parle Français couramment * Ich spreche ein wenig Deutsch LET OP: de vergoeding die automatisch wordt gecalculeerd klopt meestal niet. Helaas kan ik dit niet voorkomen. Ik kom graag naar jouw huis om voor je hond te zorgen. Vaak is het beter om een hond in de eigen vertrouwde omgeving te laten wanneer de baas een poosje weggaat. Bijvoorbeeld wanneer een hond ziek is of net geopereerd, of nogal oud of juist heel jong, of hij/zij heeft misschien een gebruiksaanwijzing of kan niet goed alleen zijn. Of er is helemaal niets aan de hand en is-tie hartstikke braaf - dat kan natuurlijk ook! Minstens vier keer per dag doen we een wandeling, ik speel spelletjes die voor jouw hond geschikt zijn, natuurlijk wordt er volop geknuffeld en uiteraard zorg ik voor de nodige rust. Als je wilt kan ik je op de hoogte houden van hoe het met je hond gaat, door je regelmatig berichtjes en foto's te sturen. De meeste baasjes vinden dat wel fijn, zeker in het begin. Dat kan ik ook goed begrijpen, want het is toch een hele stap om je hond aan een ander toe te vertrouwen. Behalve opvang voor de hond geef ik ook coaching en training voor baasje & hond samen. Ik heb veel ervaring met puppies, maar ook met dove honden en honden die dementeren. Verder kan ik helpen bij diverse opvoedingsproblemen (zelfs op latere leeftijd), waaronder trauma's, prooinijd, verlatingsangst en natuurlijk trekken aan de lijn. In geval van zeer ernstige gedragsstoornissen moet ik weleens doorverwijzen. Mijn tarieven kunnen voor iedere hond en situatie weer anders zijn, dus let niet op het bedrag wat automatisch bij je aanvraag verschijnt. Bijvoorbeeld: voor een wekelijkse lange wandeling vraag ik meestal €25, maar als ik in de vakantie drie weken bij een hond logeer dan tel ik €50 per dag. Voor een tweede of derde hond van hetzelfde baasje reken ik natuurlijk niet het volle pond! Van tevoren spreek ik altijd af om uitgebreid kennis te maken en daarna doe ik een voorstel. Logeren bij honden doe ik tijdens de schoolvakanties ook buiten Leiden. Mijn beschikbaarheid op de PetBnB kalender houd ik niet altijd precies bij. Neem gerust contact op om te overleggen over de mogelijkheden voor jouw hond.

Lena heeft niet alleen fantastisch gezorgd voor onze kat, ze heeft heel actief meegedacht over het proces. Door eerst kennis te maken en de updates tussendoor konden wij zorgeloos op vakantie. Wij zijn hartstikke tevreden en zouden Lena zeker nog eens vragen om op te passen.

Flexibel en veel ervaring

Ik heb me hele leven lang al met honden en katten geleefd en heb dus al zeker wat ervaring opgebouwd met ze.
