Work from home dog lovers

Jose and myself are both pet lovers who grew up around animals. Sadly, we do not have enough space at the moment to have a pet for a long-period. That’s why we think that this concept is brilliant! We could look after your pet if you have tight schedule or simply want to go for a holiday. While occasional work travel makes a permanent pet infeasible, we would love to welcome your pooch into our home! We both mostly work from home, so are on-hand to give your fur baby all the attention they need. Due to the work from home situation, we are unable to look after loud dogs.

Great experience! Communication was easy and friendly from start to finish. Most importantly, Chicken was really happy and well looked after. We’d definitely book again! :feet:

I am a retired civil engineer, and moved to Amsterdam 6 months ago. I currently have two cats, and used to have a lab-chow mix. I have sat for both dogs and cats, and love animals. Once I've made a commitment, I follow through. I'll take great care of your pets, either cats or dogs. If walking your dog, we can go for a jog or walk around the Vondelpark. My specialty is helping to diagnose and treat behavior problems in both cats and dogs. I am happy to consult with you about your animal's issues for free as a part of my house sitting or dog walking. In Houston, I was known by my friends as the Cat Whisperer. Now I guess I will become I The Cat Whisperer of Amsterdam! I am a certified professional dog trainer. I have experience with challenging dogs and can help with whatever your dog's challenge, be it separation anxiety, barking, lunging at joggers or other behaviors. Even my own lab-chow mix, Dante, was aggressive around small dogs (she saw them as prey) and had separation anxiety. She was able to respond to voice commands and learned how to heel. We helped ease her anxiety as well. Each dog is unique, and it is important to know how each dog will best respond to training based on their sensitivities. I am happy to consult with you about your dog's issues. My training philosophy is based on César Millán's (The Dog Whisperer's) approach to training, as well as my work with trainers for dog service animals. My current male cat, Chaos, is 15 years old. The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

Here to take care of the furry ones!

I absolutely adore dogs and cats, and I really enjoy spending as much time with them as possible. Whether it’s taking a leisurely walk or playing with them in the park, every moment spent with these animals is pure joy. Although I don’t have a lot of space at home, I’m lucky to have a garden where they can play and relax. Plus, living so close to the Noorderplantsoen is a real bonus. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll or an energetic game of fetch, making sure the dog gets plenty of exercise and fresh air. Even with the limited indoor space, having a nearby park means there's always somewhere to explore and enjoy nature together. I truly believe that spending time outdoors, surrounded by greenery and the simple pleasure of a pet's company, brings a sense of calm and happiness to my day and to theirs.

Leuke lieve oppas wonend tegenover plantsoen!

Ik ben geboren op dierendag, dus wellicht dat ik daarom zo gek ben op dieren. Maar ook omdar ik ben opgegroeid met heel veel katten en honden. In mijn familie hebben we een aantal generaties Hollandse en Mechelse herders gehad, een Rhodesian, Jack Russell en ik heb zelf vorig jaar mijn hond Raya geadopteerd in Mexico. Gek op honden, katten en lange wandelingen!

Hoi! Ik ben gek op dieren en word vooral heel blij van honden en katten. Toen ik nog bij mijn ouders woonde, hadden we een hond waar ik altijd veel voor heb gezorgd. Ik ben dus gewend om een hond uit te laten, eten te geven, mee te spelen en natuurlijk lekker veel aandacht te geven. Ik vind het superleuk om weer wat vaker dieren om me heen te hebben! Ik hou ervan om lekker naar buiten te gaan en lange wandelingen te maken, dus een hond meenemen is voor mij alleen maar gezelliger. Ook vind ik het leuk om met dieren te spelen, ze aandacht te geven en lekker te knuffelen als ze daar zelf zin in hebben. Ik sta open voor zowel honden als katten en vind het vooral belangrijk dat een dier zich bij mij op zijn gemak voelt. Ik pas me graag aan aan wat jouw huisdier gewend is en wat hij of zij nodig heeft.

I cared for 4 rescue dogs transported from Texan high-kill shelters to NYC with Hearts & Bones Rescue organization. I cared for and trained these sweeties, gave them a safe and loving home to decompress from all the hardships, before they got adopted #savinglives Your dog will receive maximum attention, play time, walks, bathroom stops and belly rubs :-))). And of course I will sent you photo/video/text updates so you are assured your furry sweetheart has the best time ever. Your dog will be walked at least two to three times a day (depending on how long the sitting lasts). Your pup may be left alone 2 hours max. There are no other pets in my home. I live on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator, so be aware your dog needs to be able to take stairs or is fine with being carried. My home is near the Vondelpark so I am well situated to take your pupper to enjoy some exercise and fresh air. Please, feel free to reach out to me. I have a Beagle named KING waiting for me at home in Italy. He has been part of my family since I was just 8 years old, so we grew up together. Hoi Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb altijd een hond thuis gehad. Omdat ik fulltime werk, heb ik helaas niet genoeg tijd om zelf een hond te nemen. Toegewijde, liefdevolle oppas

Ik als oppas: Ik vind het heerlijk om met de hond te gaan wandelen, maar geniet ook al van alleen zijn/haar aanwezigheid in huis. Ik hoor graag wat de voorkeuren van de hond zijn zodat ik daarop aan kan passen. Kort over mij: Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Utrecht. Heb Media&Cultuur gestudeerd in Amsterdam en ben nu aan het werk in de filmwereld. Zelf ben ik opgegroeid met katten, maar heb altijd een liefde voor honden gehad. Momenteel heb ik niet de middelen en tijd om zelf een hond te nemen, maar word erg gelukkig van de aanwezigheid van dieren en zou daarom graag af en toe oppassen! Woonsituatie: Ik woon met één huisgenoot in de Rivierenbuurt. We wonen op de eerste verdieping (trap), hebben een balkon en verschillende plekken in de buurt om lekker te wandelen.

Our pup stayed with Berber for 5 days and came back very happy, clearly having had a good time! Will book again :smiling_face_with_3_hearts:
