Animal lover with pet experience

Hi, I’m Maite. I am a biologist from Spain that loves animals and is looking forward to take care of your pet. I am familiar with big breeds like samoyed, checkslovakian wolf dog and german shepherd. I also love kitties, as I had a small black cat when I was little. My apartment is very spacious and located in the heart of Amsterdam, in a residential neighbourhood so your pet will not be around tourists or with high traffic. My partner, back at his home town, has 2 big leon bergers so we are really familiar with dealing with big doggos as well. Pls ask me any questions that you may have :) Maite.

Your Pet’s Best Friend

I’ve loved animals especially cats and dogs since I was young. I cared for my Pomeranian, Twinkie, for 14 wonderful years, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand a pet’s needs and personality. I’ve also spent a lot of time around cats at my grandparents’ home, learning how to care for different temperaments. I truly enjoy playing with pets, keeping them active, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I give each pet my full attention and care for them as if they were my own. I look forward to many more interactions with them!

Eugene and his wife took great care of both my dogs and they are lot the easiest, they communicated very well and sent pictures throughout the boarding days and gave me a lot of peace of mind. I cannot recommended them enough.

Εager to take care of your furry child : )

Hey there, I'm Eva, an expat who has been living in Amsterdam for over 10 years. I live at the Westerpark area (close to Nassaukade tram stop) and I work primarily from home. I really miss is having pets, as I grew up with dogs and various other animals, many of which were strays or rescued from shelters. During the beginning of the pandemic, I brought a senior dog in need from abroad, whom I fostered for nearly a year. This experience woke up my desire to share my life with furry companions! Unfortunately, my frequent travels and living in my own do not allow me to be the dog parent I aspire to be just yet, providing the life and stability that a pet deserves. So, as an alternative, I created this account on Petbnb and have also applied to several dog shelters for volunteering and fostering. I live in a 3rd floor apartment. If requested, I can provide some photos of the space. I'd be happy to meet you before committing to a visit. I genuinely love all dogs, regardless of their breed or size. I believe in not discriminating also when it comes to our furry friends ;) I have extensive experience with both small and large dogs. However, my only requirement would be that they are potty trained. If you have a puppy that is still in the process of being trained, please bring their training crate and pads. Feel free to reach out anytime if you have any further questions :) Thanks, Eva

Feel free to ask any question or let me know if I can help! Best, Laëtitia

Lifelong animal lover: trusted, meticulous pet sit

Hi everyone! I’m Daniel, and pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, so caring for them feels like second nature to me. I’ve spent years pet-sitting for friends and family, building up a solid track record of hands-on experience along the way. I’m a young professional based in Amsterdam—neat, reliable, and dependable—and I take real pride in giving every pet my full attention. I have my own car too, so I’m flexible for trips and happy to travel when needed. I look after dogs, cats, and other pets by request, always making time for genuine playtime alongside a solid walk, not just a rushed trip outdoors. Walks usually run 30 to 45 minutes, adjusted to the dog’s energy and the owner’s preference: livelier pups get a brisker pace or longer route, while older or more laid-back dogs enjoy a gentler, shorter stroll. I’m comfortable administering medication and happy to handle vet visits when needed, so pets with ongoing health or care requirements are always welcome. My job is largely remote, which means I’m around to walk dogs throughout the day rather than sticking to just mornings and evenings. The one exception is Wednesdays, when my partner Ashleigh steps in and is happy to stay over during the day, so your pet is never without company. Whether it’s house sitting or daily walks, I’m here to help. While your pet is with me, they’ll get my complete focus and a calm, loving presence. My goal is simple: keep them feeling safe, comfortable, and happy, sticking to the routine they know and love. You can trust your furry friend will be treated with the same kindness and care I’d give my own. If you’d like to chat beforehand about my experience with a specific breed or situation, I’m always happy to talk it through.

Dog sitter & whippet looking for fury friends 🐶

Are you looking for a loving, active and playful stay for your dog? Look no further! Since I work from home, I make sure my whippet gets plenty of exercise every day — usually at least 2,5 hours of walks and running. During my long lunch break, we go to the park to make sure he gets a good run. On Wednesdays and weekends we often head to the forest or the beach. 🌳🏖️ Is your dog playful and loving to run? We are looking for you! At home the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Since I need to work during the day, it’s important that your dog can settle down indoors after exercise and is comfortable relaxing in the house. I grew up with dogs and regularly took care of my sister’s dogs before finally getting my own dog a year ago — something I’ve been loving ever since. ❤️ One thing to keep in mind: the stairs in our house are quite steep. Your dog should either be light enough for me to carry (max. 15 kg) or comfortable walking stairs independently. Your dog can also just join me on a walk, if you live in Amsterdam West — between Westerpark, Erasmuspark and the Jordaan 🐾.

Mijn beschikbaarheid is erg flexibel.
