We are a young family with two small children so we need your dogs to be friendly with kids. We work from home so we are very flexible and your pet will get full attention it needs. In the back of our house there is a small garden which our animal guests love to use for sunbathing during the rare sunny days in Maastricht. We live in the neighbourhood Caberg which is really close to nature. We love walking the dogs which makes us move a bit and enjoy the surroundings at the same time. We have experience with dog sitting of our friends' dogs, from puppies to seniors, the word spread quickly among our friends so we are often in high demand. We'll be happy to look after your dog.

Wilson had a wonderful stay! ❤️ It was his first time staying with a sitter, and I was quite nervous, but he was treated with so much love and care. I received updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Wilson came home happy and relaxed. I would definitely trust them with him again. Thank you so much!

Dit alles in huiselijke sfeer; dus zoals de honden thuis bij hun eigenaren ook leven. De honden gaan dagelijks meerdere keren naar de Brunssummerheide, het park in of lekker op de grasvelden waar ze lekker kunnen ravotten. Op hete dagen zal verkoeling gezocht worden aan een klein beekje of zal gespeeld worden met water en bij slecht weer zullen de honden binnenshuis genoeg aandacht krijgen. Dit alles onder deskundige begeleiding. Sinds 2020 ben ik gecertificeerd met het vakbekwaamheidsbewijs "Houder van honden en katten (C0007)". Wat kun je verwachten? De honden krijgen alle aandacht die ze nodig hebben en verdienen. Ze zullen meerdere keren per dag naar buiten gaan en hebben alle tijd om te spelen. De honden krijgen de volledige zorg die ze nodig hebben. In de prijs is voer inbegrepen. De honden krijgen, in overleg met de eigenaar van de hond, droogvoer van Farmina N&D. Het voer dat de honden krijgen is volledig natuurlijk. Uiteraard staat het de eigenaar van de hond(en) ook toe het eigen voer mee te geven van de hond(en). De eigenaar van de hond(en) zal regelmatig op de hoogte gehouden worden door middel van foto´s en korte video´s. Ook zal op de facebook pagina van Olafs Doghotel regelmatig content geplaatst worden over de honden. In geval van nood zal direct contact worden opgenomen met de eigenaar van de hond(en). Olaf heeft een groot hart voor honden, dat was al meteen te merken bij de kennismaking die we van tevoren gepland hadden om te zien of onze Goofy het goed met zijn honden kon vinden. Dat Olaf aangaf om eerst ‘op proef’ te oefenen, geeft aan dat hij weet waar hij mee bezig is. Uiteindelijk heeft Goofy dan ook een geweldige week gehad bij Olaf en zijn beide honden. In die week heeft Olaf ons geregeld met foto’s en video’s op de hoogte gehouden van hoe het met Goofy gaat; hardstikke fijn! Heel tevreden!

Waakse honden en honden met verlatingsangst kunnen wij helaas niet opvangen, omdat ons gebouw zeer gehorig is en we geen problemen met de buren willen krijgen. Wat de verlatingsangst betreft: we zijn niet vaak van huis, maar we zoeken wel naar een hond die eventjes alleen thuis kan blijven als we bijvoorbeeld een boodschap moeten doen. We hebben beiden geen werkverplichtingen waardoor we veel thuis zijn en 24/7 zorg kunnen bieden. We zijn actief, eten gezond en richten ons op de kleine dingen in het leven. ! We zoeken met name sociale honden die met ons willen wandelen in losloopgebieden ! Ons tarief is indicatief. Al naar gelang de wensen en huissituatie bespreken wij graag onze mogelijkheden. 's Middags speelt Ben graag gitaar en Lin leest, kookt en bakt graag. Daarnaast bloggen we over onze levensstijl en het runnen van onze stichting. We passen onze flexibele routine aan de wensen en behoeften van uw hond/kat aan. We nemen de hond graag mee op onze wandelingen. Extra wandelingen, apporteren, borstelen enzovoort. Wij genieten daar enorm van. 's Avonds kijken we soms tv of een film. De hond of kat kan dan lekker bij ons liggen. Rond 22.00 uur is het tijd om te gaan slapen. We hebben altijd een videogesprek om elkaar voor het eerst te leren kennen. Daarna volgt een kennismaking op locatie. We hebben indien gewenst dagelijks contact voor updates, vragen of andere behoeften.

Linda is een geweldige oppas. Veel geduld, kijkt goed wat onze hond nodig heeft om zich op z’n gemak te voelen en luistert naar de ‘gebruiksaanwijzing’ van onze hond en handelt daar ook naar. Heel fijn!

Dieren zijn mijn absolute passie!

Wij zijn een gezin van 4 ( man en 2 jongens van 16 en 18). Daarnaast ons lieve gezinslid van 11 maanden ( Goldendoodle). Hiervoor een dwergpincher ( uiteindelijk 8 jaar geworden) gehad . Met pijn in mijn hart in moeten laten slapen ivm ernstig hartfalen. Ook een buitenlands hondje gehad , deze lieverd helaas maar 1,5 jaar mogen worden. Ondanks het enorme verdriet wat hiermee gepaard gaat, geeft een nieuw hondje je toch weer de vreugde om door te gaan. Op het moment ben ik werkzaam ( ochtenduren) in de zorg en lijkt het mij ontzettend leuk om in de middag een speelkameraadje voor mijn eigen hondje te hebben, zodat ze uiteindelijk uitgeput en voldaan zullen zijn. Ik ben op zoek naar kleine hondjes aangezien hij toch wat angstig is naar grote(re) rassen. Hij is ontzettend sociaal en leergierig.

Het was wederom een succes. Voor Woody was het zijn eerste logeerpartij en hij kan het uitstekend vinden met zijn hondenmaatje Loui en Marsha. Daarbij merk ik bij mij thuis als ik hem weer heb opgehaald dat de focus een stuk minder op mij ligt en zijn verlatingsangst daarmee ook. Dus het lijkt zelfs een beetje 'therapeutisch' te werken. Hij voelt zich helemaal op zijn gemak bij Marsha en ik laat hem met een gerust hart en goed gevoel bij haar en Loui en de andere gezinsleden. Marsha stuurt ook regelmatig filmpjes en foto's en houdt mij zo op een hele fijne manier op de hoogte. Dus wat mij betreft zal Woody zeker regelmatig langs gaan komen om met Loui te spelen en te ravotten en lekker samen te wandelen. Marsha, dankjewel voor je goede zorg voor Woody!
