Your dog will be welcomed into our home as part of the family and receive plenty of affection, attention and companionship. We are a warm, dog-loving household with a young daughter and our friendly female dog, Sira. Together, we enjoy long walks in the countryside and nearby forests, as well as relaxed time at home.

Because we have a small child, I can only welcome dogs that are gentle, calm and comfortable around young children. Their safety and well-being—and that of my family—will always come first.

My experience:

* I grew up surrounded by dogs.
* I volunteer at a local dog shelter, where I care for dogs with different personalities and needs.
* I regularly attend dog-training sessions to continue developing my knowledge and skills.

Your dog will be a good fit for our family if:

* They can stay home alone for a couple of hours when necessary.
* They are friendly and comfortable with other dogs.
* They are gentle, calm and trustworthy around young children.

Good to know:

* Sira is a friendly female mixed-breed hunting dog who generally gets along very well with other dogs.
* If you live in Utrecht or the surrounding area, my partner or I may also be able to collect your dog and bring them home by car.
