Hi, my name is Laura and I am a 20-year-old dog lover from Estonia. I am currently living in Leiden and studying psychology at the university. I've even thought of using my degree to work with animals in the future. I am very happy here, but there is an essential component missing from my life - interaction with dogs! I myself have a dog back home - he's a West Highland white terrier - who I love and miss very much, so I would be happy to take care of your dog/s and keep them happy and loved. My dog is truly the best friend and comforter I've ever had. I've always been very involved in my dog's puppy training and general care in additional to just enjoying his company, and I've had to deal with a couple of health issues he has had as well. I've been an animal lover from a very young age even before my parents agreed to get a dog - I had rabbits, I did horseback riding for years, and looked after my friends' and neighbours' dogs, cats, turtles and hamsters while they were on trips. My grandmother and my cousin both had dogs that passed away recently, so I have also been involved in the care of older dogs, while I have lots of experience with puppies as well, as my family and me also fostered an Airedale terrier puppy for a couple of weeks. I've looked after dogs at horse stables and competitions, and I also volunteered in an animal shelter back home as a dog walker. Even though I do have some experience with bigger dogs, I am mainly used to smaller and medium-sized dogs, although every dog is different and I am open to working something out with bigger dogs as well! I have the most experience with terriers. Due to my current living situation, I cannot bring your dog/s to my place, but I am happy to look after them in your home, or take them on fun walks. I am generally a very active and sporty person, so I will enjoy giving your dog/s a fun and challenging walk that will be rewarding to both of us. My study schedules change frequently so I may be available at different times each week, but generally I am free in the mornings and evenings or at night, and for weekends it depends on how busy I am during that time period. Hi :) My name is Perry, I recently moved to the Netherlands for my study! I always grew up with dogs at home (we had a Labrador, two Yorkshires, and now we are sticking to golden retrievers) and therefore I really miss spending time with a dog but I sadly cannot adopt one as I live in a student accommodation (I already had a hard time negotiating to be allowed to bring my cat!). Beste lezer, afgelopen maand is mijn hond helaas komen te overlijden. Elke donderdag ging ik altijd met hem naar het strand of andere locaties om een grote wandeling te maken. Echter na zijn overlijden mis ik deze wandeling en het gezelschap van een hond. Wegens tijdsgebrek om een hond fulltime op te voeden lijkt het mij toch leuk om op de donderdag toch nog de gezelligheid van een hond te hebben. Zou ik u kunnen helpen om uw hond van zijn/haar wandelingen te voorzien? Stuur gerust een berichtje. Ik ben zoals hierboven beschreven alleen op donderdag beschikbaar en alleen op de dagen aangegeven in de agenda. Ik beschik over al het materiaal om een hond in huis te hebben. Eisen vanuit mij: - De hond moet los kunnen lopen en kunnen reageren op commando’s - De hond vindt het niet erg om 15-30 minuten alleen thuis te zijn - De hond moet gezellig zijn - De hond is zinderlijk - De hond vindt het niet erg om in een bench in de auto te zitten. Een actief en lief gezin met drie jongens in Katwijk aan Zee heeft plek voor een wandel maatje voor hond Yuki de Pomsky. Wij zijn opgegroeid met honden, wonen aan het strand en duin en houden veel van wandelen. Yuki is 50% husky dus drie flinke wandelingen per dag zijn standaard bij ons. Onze drie jarige pomsky is een speelse, sociale hond die zeer goed met andere honden overweg kan. Ik ben Femke, ben 18 jaar en ik kom uit Leiden. Ik hou van dieren en dat is ook de reden waarop ik ben begonnen met honden uitlaten. I am a pet lover - dogs as well as cats. Lived my whole life around and caring for my dogs back home in Latvia - playing and exercising them, physically as well as mentally. Back home I even went through dog school with my German Shepherd and trained our puppy on my own. Here in Leiden I would prefer small to middle size dogs, just because in case of per boarding I believe my apartment would be a bit too small for a large dog. All my experience with dogs does not take away from my love of other pets like cats - in facts I am the godmother of 2 cats that my friend owns. In general, I am an animal lover that believes that each pet is different with their own personality that needs to be stimulated. :)

Hallo ik ben Laila en houd super veel van dieren. Ik verzorg graag uw katten tijdens vakantie of een dagje weg. Ik ben beschikbaar in Hoofddorp en heb een auto. Grote dieren vriend die van wandelen houd.

Ik heb in het verleden een Duitste herder en een Jack Russel gehad. Momenteel heb ik een wolfgrauwe keeshond en mijn vriendin een sibirsche husky. Wij zijn gek op dieren, we hebben ook nog katten en paarden. Ik ben erg sportief en beschik over een auto, boswandelingen of strandwandelingen ben ik niet vies van. En een beetje regen gaan we ook dwars doorheen. Mijn droom is om een honden opvang/uitlaatservice te beginnen. Ik hoop op deze manier een weg te vinden om dat te kunnen realiseren. Ik ben altijd heel voorzichtig aan wie ik mijn maatje toe vertrouw. Maar bij tom is dat zeker goed bevallen. Hij is heel goed geweest voor mijn hond. Hij was helemaal uit geteld en heeft zijn energie ergoed uit gegooid. Ik had er thuis geen hond meer aan. Gewoon helemaal top. Dankjewel tom voor de goede zorgen die je shadow hebt gegeven en tot snel weer👍👍👍

Huge fan of walking and having nice company aside

I always had pets in my home when i was growing up so I understand them well enough and I enjoy my time around them, I believe they have pure and genuine energy and love towards us as long as we can reciprocate it back. I moved in to the Netherlands almost a year ago and cant afford having a companion aside me due to my financial circumstances atm, however it would be amazing to have be able to walk them and hang around with them every now and then. I can walk dogs anywhere within a 5 km radius and I can do that multiple times a week if necessary. Always my pleasure.

Jonge, energieke hondenoppasser

Als een jonge maar ok energieke hondenoppasser ben ik perfect om met uw hond(en) te spelen en om op ze te letten wanneer de baasjes weg zijn, zodat ze terug thuis kunnen komen naar een rustige hond die voorlopig niet energiek is. Als er regels zijn volg ik die, zodat de baasjes zeker weten dat alles klopt, als nodig is kan ik ook regelmatig fotos en videos sturen! Omdat ik nog studeer en ook stage loop tot aan de zomer, ben ik tot nu toe alleen maar beschikbaar op zaterdag en zondag. De tijden waarin ik beschikbaar ben zijn vanaf 13:00 tot 17:00!

I love taking care of dogs!!

My experience of taking care of dogs start with my first pet which was a labrador dog, who we used to call bruno, and I took all the responsibility of taking care of, feeding it, taking it out for walks and playing with him. However he had to be given to my friend as we shifted out of town, after him we have another dog, who we call tuffy, which I love to take care of, and again took all the responsisbility of taking care of, and I love to play with him!! I have a lot of experience with dogs and genuinely enjoy being around them.
