Dierenvrienden op Java-eiland

Wij zijn Guusje & Sietse, een avontuurlijk en sportief stel en we houden ervan om veel buiten te zijn. Omdat we zelf enkel een (ruim) balkon hebben, vinden we ons huis niet geschikt voor het hebben van een permanent huisdier maar we zouden het leuk vinden om mensen in de buurt te helpen met het opvangen van hun huisdieren wanneer nodig! We houden van lange wandelingen door Flevopark of vliegerbos, dagjes uitwaaien aan het strand (als het kan) en vinden het belangrijk dat een kat/hond de aandacht krijgt die ze nodig hebben. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met katten en honden, dus we hebben veel ervaring. Het liefst passen we op middelgrote honden die makkelijk in de omgang zijn en het fijn vinden om bij mensen in de buurt te zijn. Door haar werk als freelancer werkt Guusje veel vanuit huis. Daarom is ze flexibel en kan ze overdag tijd maken voor langere wandelingen!

We hadden een gezellige kennismaking bij Guusje en Sietse, dat gaf al veel vertrouwen vooraf. Curly heeft 2 nachtjes bij ze gelogeerd, we kregen een paar leuke foto's waarop hij er erg relaxt en tevreden uitzag. Fijn oppas-adresje, wij doen zeker weer een nieuwe aanvraag!

Although i don't have experience in petsitting, I have had a few of dogs and cats throughout my childhood. We had a boerboel, Rhodesian ridgeback, Jackrussel, Pomeranian and one cat, I had a tendency surprise my parents with animals they didnt know would live with us. Animals are part of my personality at this point, I am often heard saying ''auuuuuw" when i see a dog or cat on the sidewalk. At the moment I have plenty of free time(the whole day) to be available to your furry friend. I enjoy hiking but for the elderly I wouldn't mind sitting on the couch with them.

I used to take care of many dogs in my home country. I love being around dogs and making them feel safe and happy🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺 I also love spending time with cats. In my home country, I had a Shiba Inu roommate and a cat roommate (the one in my profile picture). They both trusted me a lot and loved being around me. Last year, I took care of a giant Husky named Demon in the USA. I walked him every day, spent lots of time playing with him, and made sure he felt happy and comfortable. I still miss him very much! My boyfriend Tim and I love dogs. I grew up in a vet family with loads of pets and all sorts of dogs around. Since our Cypriot dog passed away last year we have been dog sitting various neighborhood furry friends. We work from home most of the time, which gives us flexibility to do frequent walks and little adventures. We live right next to Erasmus and Rembrandt park. If time permits and if your dog is up for it, we love going to the forest or the beach. The appartment isn’t huge but well catered for a dog, and we love playing and training with dogs as well. The house is only accessible by stairs.

Tesse and Tim alternated the walks with - and care for - Felan. He loved them equally. On the pictures sent by Tesse an Tim is clearly visible that Felan had a great time when they sat him. Communication went smoothly, all in all I can only hope that we can prolongue this petsitting arrangement in the future.

Ik ben opgegroeid met honden. Mijn familie had altijd honden van verschillende rassen, en tijdens mijn jeugd hadden we zelfs meerdere Labradors tegelijk (drie van verschillende leeftijden).
