Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever.

Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets.

We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador.

One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider.
