I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. WHO let the dogs out

4 jaar het baasje geweest van Jimmy (Golden Retriever) tot 2021 en haar ook opgevoed. Mooie jaren met haar in Utrecht beleefd maar daar bij mijn huisgenoten ‘achtergelaten’ i.v.m. een nieuwe baan. Omdat ik een flexibel rooster heb Vorig jaar ben ik verhuisd naar mijn huidige appartement. Daar woonde ook onze gezinshond Noa (golden retriever), een lieve oude dame van bijna 15 jaar. Ik heb het afgelopen jaar alleen voor haar gezorgd. Toen ze overleed brak dat mijn hart. Sindsdien mis ik het enorm om een hond om me heen te hebben. Vroeger gingen we regelmatig naar Noa's fokker, waar we veel leerden over opvoeding, gedrag en training. Misschien klinkt het gek, maar een huis vol kwispelende honden die je bespringen als je binnenkomt is voor mij een soort ideaalbeeld geworden. Sinds Noa er niet meer is, mis ik die vrolijke energie enorm. Ik herinner me ook nog veel van de puppycursus die we met haar hebben gevolgd. Ik ben geen hondengedragstherapeut, maar ik weet wel hoe belangrijk duidelijke communicatie, geduld en positieve aandacht zijn. Veel gezinnen om me heen hadden ook honden en ik keek als kind de hele dag naar Animal Planet. Als kind had ik cavia's (al was ik toen wel te jong om daar volledig verantwoordelijk voor te zijn), ik heb paardgereden en tegenwoordig woon ik samen met mijn kat Beer, die ontzettend verwend wordt. Tijdens de hittegolf heb ik laatst een uitgedroogd egeltje naar de dierenopvang gebracht. Op de terugweg realiseerde ik me weer hoe blij ik word van dieren. Ik was toch al op zoek naar een bijbaan, dus dacht ik: waarom zou ik niet iets doen waar ik echt gelukkig van word? Mijn appartement is ruim en rustig. Als dat nodig is, kunnen dieren ook apart in verschillende kamers verblijven. Ik woon alleen, waardoor er veel rust en aandacht is voor een logeerhond of kat. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten: - Veel geduld en liefde voor dieren!!! - Betrouwbaarheid en duidelijke communicatie. - Regelmatige updates en foto's als je dat fijn vindt. - Flexibiliteit; doordat ik als conservatoriumstudent vaak maar een paar lessen per dag heb en tussendoor ook thuis ben. Ik kan wel een heel verschillend rooster hebben, ook omdat ik in avonden vaak moet optreden, maar hopelijk komen we daar samen wel uit! Ik vind het belangrijk dat een dier zich veilig voelt. Daarom neem ik graag de tijd om eerst kennis te maken en hoor ik uitgebreid wat jouw dier nodig heeft, zodat ik de verzorging zoveel mogelijk kan aanpassen aan zijn of haar gewoontes. Groetjes :)

Enthousiaste ervaren honden liefhebber

Ik ben opgegroeid vroeger met vier honden, twee Duitse herders en twee havanezers (kleine hondjes). Mijn liefde voor honden is enorm groot. Momenteel hebben mijn vriend en ik een hele lieve labradoodle (Valerie), uit het asiel gehaald. Zij is 3 jaar oud en nu bijna 1 jaar bij ons. Wij vinden het leuk om met Valerie naar het Amsterdamse bos te gaan of om ergens anders een lekkere wandeling te maken. Valerie is een hele makkelijke hond en kan eigenlijk met elke andere hond opschieten. Wij zijn flexibel met oppassen. Wij passen het liefst op honden die goed met een andere hond overweg kunnen.

Rennen, spelen, chillen; ik doe het allemaal.

Hoi, Robin hier! Ik ben opgegroeid met een Dobermann in huis, wat nog steeds één van mijn favoriete rassen is. Hij was fantastisch afgericht, geobsedeerd met ballen en mijn beste vriend. Later kwamen er twee Franse Bassets in huis. Erg schattig, maar ook lekker lui. Deze hondjes hebben de tijd nodig om te snuffelen, dus hoe ik eerst kon rennen en gooien met mijn hond, moest ik nu rustig lopen en soms zelfs even wachten tot de hondjes weer een beetje bij mij in de buurt waren. In mijn tussenjaar woonde ik bij een gezin met twee hondjes uit Ecuador, die allebei totaal verschillend waren. De kleine wilde graag geaaid worden en spelen en de grotere waardeerde rust en af en toe een aai over haar bol, maar hield wel van rennen tijdens het wandelen. Naast dit alles heb ik nog vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij een asiel. Kortom, aan ervaring met verschillende honden heb ik geen tekort. Op het moment studeer ik in Amsterdam. Ik woon in een 18m2 kamertje, waardoor ik liever geen grote honden langs heb, maar wandelen met grotere rassen is zeker geen probleem. Mijn beschikbaarheid varieert, maar overdag heb ik vaak veel vrije tijd, ‘s avonds iets minder.

Lief, duidelijk, behulpzaam. Ze kan goed omgaan met onze springende Hollandse herder. aanrader!
