Als lid van deze NGO werkte ik aan de redding van dieren die op straat leven, aan de organisatie van vaccinaties en voedseldonaties en aan de ondersteuning van adopties. Mijn 2 katten leefden op straat, ze waren zo schattig dat ik ze wel moest adopteren. Voor deze baan kan ik bij u thuis komen en tijd doorbrengen met uw huisdieren. Ik voer ze, voeg vers water toe en maak de kattenbakken schoon, we spelen samen, ik knuffel en ik maak veel foto Sommige katten hebben tijd nodig om te wennen aan de anwezigheid van een vreemde, ik respecteer hun tijd en als ze me vertrouwen, komen ze dichtbij zodat we van onze tijd samen kunnen genieten. Het bezoek kan 30 minuten of langer duren, indien nodig kan ik ook de planten water geven, de vissen en vogels voeren. Ik kan ook met de honden lange of korte wandelingen maken. Hoi! Mega dierenliefhebber met gat in haar hart

Hoi! Ik ben Demi, 27 jaar en studeer zang aan het Conservatorium in Utrecht. Naast muziek zijn dieren eigenlijk altijd mijn grootste liefde geweest. Omdat ik een flexibel rooster heb Vorig jaar ben ik verhuisd naar mijn huidige appartement. Daar woonde ook onze gezinshond Noa (golden retriever), een lieve oude dame van bijna 15 jaar. Ik heb het afgelopen jaar alleen voor haar gezorgd. Toen ze overleed brak dat mijn hart. Sindsdien mis ik het enorm om een hond om me heen te hebben. Vroeger gingen we regelmatig naar Noa's fokker, waar we veel leerden over opvoeding, gedrag en training. Misschien klinkt het gek, maar een huis vol kwispelende honden die je bespringen als je binnenkomt is voor mij een soort ideaalbeeld geworden. Sinds Noa er niet meer is, mis ik die vrolijke energie enorm. Ik herinner me ook nog veel van de puppycursus die we met haar hebben gevolgd. Ik ben geen hondengedragstherapeut, maar ik weet wel hoe belangrijk duidelijke communicatie, geduld en positieve aandacht zijn. Veel gezinnen om me heen hadden ook honden en ik keek als kind de hele dag naar Animal Planet. Als kind had ik cavia's (al was ik toen wel te jong om daar volledig verantwoordelijk voor te zijn), ik heb paardgereden en tegenwoordig woon ik samen met mijn kat Beer, die ontzettend verwend wordt. Tijdens de hittegolf heb ik laatst een uitgedroogd egeltje naar de dierenopvang gebracht. Op de terugweg realiseerde ik me weer hoe blij ik word van dieren. Ik was toch al op zoek naar een bijbaan, dus dacht ik: waarom zou ik niet iets doen waar ik echt gelukkig van word? Mijn appartement is ruim en rustig. Als dat nodig is, kunnen dieren ook apart in verschillende kamers verblijven. Ik woon alleen, waardoor er veel rust en aandacht is voor een logeerhond of kat. Wat je van mij kunt verwachten: - Veel geduld en liefde voor dieren!!! - Betrouwbaarheid en duidelijke communicatie. - Regelmatige updates en foto's als je dat fijn vindt. - Flexibiliteit; doordat ik als conservatoriumstudent vaak maar een paar lessen per dag heb en tussendoor ook thuis ben. Ik kan wel een heel verschillend rooster hebben, ook omdat ik in avonden vaak moet optreden, maar hopelijk komen we daar samen wel uit! Ik vind het belangrijk dat een dier zich veilig voelt. Daarom neem ik graag de tijd om eerst kennis te maken en hoor ik uitgebreid wat jouw dier nodig heeft, zodat ik de verzorging zoveel mogelijk kan aanpassen aan zijn of haar gewoontes. Groetjes :)

Groot, middel of klein, ik vind elk dier fijn!

Altijd heb ik gewoond met katten en/of honden, sinds kort is dit helaas niet meer zo. Ik woon nu in een te klein huis. Ik mis hun gezelschap en daarom wil ik graag gaan oppassen! Ik heb een energieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid, ik hou van buiten zijn (zelfs als het regent of sneeuwt) en ben op mijn gelukkigst in het gezelschap van een (huis)dier. De laatste jaren heb ik twee katten gehad; Bowie en Karel. Karel is heel actief en houdt van gezelschap, Bowie is wat meer op zichzelf. Het verschil in wat zij nodig hebben is groot, en altijd iets waar ik rekening mee heb gehouden. Bij mijn ouders had ik een hond en kat. Onze hond, Sep, was een Tibetaanse terrier die gered was van een fokker. Hij kon erg agressief zijn naar andere honden, wat voor mij betekende dat ik rustig moest blijven en hem moest kalmeren of omlopen wanneer andere honden in de buurt kwamen. Onze kat was liever buiten dan binnen en kwam soms thuis voor eten of knuffels, maar wel alleen op zijn voorwaarde. Hier heb ik geleerd zijn gedrag te begrijpen en mijn eigen behoeften aan de kant te zetten voor zijn welzijn. Op dit moment heb ik veel tijd en ben ik erg flexibel, elk dier is welkom bij mij!

Vanaf mijn geboorte tot aan mijn studeren hebben we altijd honden in huis gehad op de Veluwe. In mijn tijd op Aruba (10 jaar) heb ik in huishoudens gewoond waar ik mede voor meerdere (grote) honden heb gezorgd. (Bull Mastif, Deense Dogs, labrador, en verschillende geadopteerde straathonden). Het komt vaak voor dat honden heel blij zijn om mij te zien. Dat komt denk ik doordat ik een bepaalde rust uitstraal, respect voor ze heb en geen gekke dingen met ze doe. Mijn werkleven in Amsterdam is niet geschikt voor huisdieren maar ik kan wellicht wel zo nu en dan voor huisdieren van anderen zorgen.

Ik heb vanaf mijn 7e ervaring met honden. Ik ben een echte dierenliefhebber en vind het erg leuk om te wandelen. Momenteel wandel ik veel in mijn vrije tijd. Ik wandel vaak lange afstanden, dus ook erg energieke honden zijn voor mij geen probleem. Ik zou het erg leuk vinden om deze wandelingen samen met honden te mogen doen en tegelijkertijd daarmee de baasjes daarmee te helpen. In de omgang ben ik geduldig, sta open voor extra dingen zoals het toediening van medicatie (indien nodig) en ik heb bijna altijd tijd indien tijdig gecommuniceerd. I have taken care of 50+ different dogs and cats until now and I am experienced with different breeds and habits of pets. Originally I am from China, and I am currently studying at the VU. I have a cat and a dog back home (the cat is 5 years old, and the dog is 6 years old). I've been responsible for taking care of them since they were a few weeks old, so I'm really used to the life rhythm with these cute little angels around. In 2024, I volunteered at an animal rescue center in Crete, Greece, where I had to take care of 15+ dogs. I enjoyed spending the whole day with them, taking them to the beach, and cooking for them. I treat my pets as my friends – not only loving and caring for them, but I also pay attention to the small habits and characteristics that make them unique. This is what motivated me to become a pet sitter, to make more fluffy animal friends! I study at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My daily routine is very flexible and can be adjusted to fit the walking/feeding time of your pet. I love sleeping with dogs and cats too and I am happy to let your pet be in all places in the house. But if there’s specific requirements for no pets in bedroom/on couch etc I will also follow them. For house sitting, I will make sure to keep the place tidy, water plants/ pick up deliveries if needed, will also do a thorough clean up at the end of the sit. I will make sure to be careful with windows and doors, not letting the pet get out accidentally. Ofcourse, I will also ensure not to leave food out unattended. During heatwave I will keep a close eye on the behavior of the pet, for dog walks I will also check the temperature of the ground before leaving.

Familie past graag op kindvriendelijke dieren

Een familie met grote dierenvrienden. Onze 1.5 jaar oude zoon is compleet dol op dieren in alle soorten en maten. We hebben zelf geen huisdieren omdat we regelmatig op vakantie gaan. Daarom stellen we ons huis graag open voor jouw huisdieren. Wegens onze zoon dus alleen huisdieren die leuk met kleine kinderen zijn. We wonen in het centrum van Den Haag, maar gaan ook graag op pad richting strand of duinen. We zijn veel overdag thuis en kunnen je huisdier dus genoeg aandacht en liefde geven. Qua ervaring hebben we vaker op katten van vrienden gepast, maar nooit eerder van onbekenden. Op honden hebben we nooit eerder gepast, maar we hopen dat daar snel verandering in komt.

Wat heeft Bono het ontzettend leuk gehad bij jullie! Super leuk zoveel gedaan en leuk dat Floran en Bono goede vriendjes geworden zijn.
