Over mij: Sinds ik op mijzelf woon pas ik regelmatig op honden (en soms katten): gewoon omdat ik het leuk vind en graag buiten ben! Zelf een huisdier nemen is geen mogelijkheid gezien mijn fulltime baan, dus dit is een fijne oplossing met alleen maar winnaars! Aanvullende info: Ik heb 3,5 jaar in een dierenasiel gewerkt en daardoor ervaring met kleine honden (0-10kg), maar ook met grote honden zoals Turkse Herders (45-55kg). Ik deins daarom echt niet terug door het uiterlijk van een hond en de vooroordelen die bestaan over een ras, maar ik vind het wel belangrijk dat de hond betrouwbaar en goed opgevoed is. Neem gerust contact op! Ik ben flexibel en denk graag mee. - Op vrijdagen alleen vanaf eind van de middag (tenzij feestdag). - In weekenden ook in omgeving Twente mogelijk.

Onze Bowie heeft echt een geweldige week met Anouk gehad! Onze dalmaat is namelijk best een eigenzinnig geval en houdt niet zo van verandering. Dat wij een weekje zonder haar op vakantie gaan, vindt ze al niet zo leuk en moet ze echt even uit haar comfortzone komen. Maar daarom was het des te fijner dat ze wel lekker in haar eigen omgeving kon blijven en Anouk zich een hele week over haar heeft ontfermd in ons huis. Het is vantevoren best spannend hoe dat zal uitpakken, maar Anouk is echt een zeer betrokken oppas met veel hondenkennis en -ervaring. Door haar rust en geduld, hebben wij ook echt kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Ze stuurde ons elke dag even een korte update en het huis was helemaal netjes toen we weer thuis kwamen. Wij zijn superblij met Anouk en de volgende keer gaan we haar zeker weer vragen, ze echt een topper!

Een liefdevol tweede thuis voor jouw Labrador 🐾

Hoi, ik ben Dennis, 45 jaar, en ik heb een enorme liefde voor Labradors. Na twaalf prachtige jaren met mijn eigen bruine Labrador heb ik onlangs afscheid van hem moeten nemen. Hij was niet alleen mijn hond, maar echt mijn maatje. We deden alles samen: wandelen, zwemmen, op pad gaan en genieten van het buitenleven. Hoewel ik op dit moment nog niet toe ben aan een nieuwe eigen hond, mis ik de aanwezigheid van een Labrador enorm. Daarom lijkt het mij ontzettend fijn om af en toe voor een Labrador te mogen zorgen, ermee te wandelen of hem een liefdevolle dag- of logeeropvang te bieden. Wat mij misschien onderscheidt van veel andere oppassers, is dat ik niet op zoek ben naar zoveel mogelijk honden. Ik zoek juist één of twee Labradors waarmee ik een band kan opbouwen. Ik weet uit ervaring hoe bijzonder het ras is: trouw, sociaal, gevoelig, enthousiast en altijd graag in de buurt van mensen. Juist dat karakter spreekt mij enorm aan. Ik woon direct aan het Amsterdamse Bos. Iedere wandeling begint letterlijk vanaf mijn voordeur. Binnen enkele minuten sta ik in het bos, waar prachtige wandelroutes zijn. Daarnaast woon ik vlak bij een waterplek waar Labradors in de zomer heerlijk kunnen zwemmen. Na een wandeling door het bos of een duik in het water kan ik jouw hond op mijn terras eenvoudig afspoelen met de buitendouche. Mijn woning en omgeving zijn ideaal voor een Labrador: 🐾 Direct aan het Amsterdamse Bos 🐾 Mooie wandelroutes direct vanuit huis 🐾 Zwemplek op loopafstand 🐾 Groot terras met zowel zon- als schaduwplekken 🐾 Buitendouche voor na een zwempartij of modderige wandeling 🐾 Rustige en veilige woonomgeving 🐾 Veel ruimte voor rust, aandacht en ontspanning Door mijn werk ben ik slechts twee à drie korte periodes per maand van huis. De rest van de tijd ben ik juist veel thuis en heb ik volop tijd voor wandelingen, aandacht en gezelschap, zowel overdag als in de avonduren. Mocht ik zelf een keer even weg zijn voor een boodschap, een afspraak of een bezoek aan de sportschool, dan is mijn partner vrijwel altijd thuis. Ook hij is een grote Labradorliefhebber en heeft jarenlang met evenveel liefde voor onze eigen Labrador gezorgd. Jouw hond zal hier dus nooit aan zijn lot worden overgelaten en kan altijd rekenen op aandacht, gezelschap en een vertrouwde omgeving. Voor veel honden is rust, aanwezigheid en menselijk contact minstens zo belangrijk als beweging. Juist dat kunnen wij bieden. Er is vrijwel altijd iemand thuis en een Labrador wordt hier niet gezien als een oppashond, maar als een welkom huisgenootje dat alle aandacht krijgt die hij verdient. Mijn ervaring komt niet uit een cursus of een boek, maar uit twaalf jaar dagelijks leven met een Labrador. Ik weet hoe belangrijk vertrouwen, duidelijkheid, beweging, rust en liefde zijn. Ik begrijp wanneer een hond behoefte heeft aan actie, maar ook wanneer hij juist behoefte heeft aan ontspanning en aandacht. Ik werk als basisschoolleerkracht op een Montessorischool, maar naast het lesgeven word ik ontzettend blij van dieren. Dierenvrienden op Java-eiland

Wij zijn Guusje & Sietse, een avontuurlijk en sportief stel en we houden ervan om veel buiten te zijn. Omdat we zelf enkel een (ruim) balkon hebben, vinden we ons huis niet geschikt voor het hebben van een permanent huisdier maar we zouden het leuk vinden om mensen in de buurt te helpen met het opvangen van hun huisdieren wanneer nodig! We houden van lange wandelingen door Flevopark of vliegerbos, dagjes uitwaaien aan het strand (als het kan) en vinden het belangrijk dat een kat/hond de aandacht krijgt die ze nodig hebben. We zijn allebei opgegroeid met katten en honden, dus we hebben veel ervaring. Het liefst passen we op middelgrote honden die makkelijk in de omgang zijn en het fijn vinden om bij mensen in de buurt te zijn. Door haar werk als freelancer werkt Guusje veel vanuit huis. Daarom is ze flexibel en kan ze overdag tijd maken voor langere wandelingen!

We hadden een gezellige kennismaking bij Guusje en Sietse, dat gaf al veel vertrouwen vooraf. Curly heeft 2 nachtjes bij ze gelogeerd, we kregen een paar leuke foto's waarop hij er erg relaxt en tevreden uitzag. Fijn oppas-adresje, wij doen zeker weer een nieuwe aanvraag!

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. I love getting to know each dog's individual routine and personality and making their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. I’m always happy to send photos and little updates so you can see what your pet has been up to. 🐾 I also grew up around much larger dogs, as my grandmother was a Rottweiler breeder for around 10 years. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

Loving, experienced & always up for a walk 🐾

Growing up, I was lucky enough to share my daily life with many dogs and cats of different breeds and sizes, so having a furry companion around is part of who I am. Since I work from home, I make sure my whippet gets plenty of exercise every day — usually at least 2,5 hours of walks and running. During my long lunch break, we go to the park to make sure he gets a good run. On Wednesdays and weekends we often head to the forest or the beach. 🌳🏖️ Is your dog playful and loving to run? We are looking for you! At home the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Since I need to work during the day, it’s important that your dog can settle down indoors after exercise and is comfortable relaxing in the house. I grew up with dogs and regularly took care of my sister’s dogs before finally getting my own dog a year ago — something I’ve been loving ever since. ❤️ One thing to keep in mind: the stairs in our house are quite steep. Your dog should either be light enough for me to carry (max. 15 kg) or comfortable walking stairs independently.
