We love dogs since we were little. We always had pets and were taught to not only give them love, but also take care of them, give attention and enjoy time shared. We make sure they get all the necessary attention, love, entertainment & care. We try to adapt to what they like. If it’s an active dog we don’t hesitate on take them to a park, play togheter, have a walk and dedicate the time they are used to so they feel comfortable. And if it’s a pup that enjoys resting and accompanying more, we love that too! We also enjoy to teach them when they’re puppies since we love seeing their evolution :)

Hi! I’m a second-year political science student with a big love for animals and lots of experience in caring for them. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Your pet will be cared for in a friendly, safe, and relaxed environment where we'll make sure they'll feel right at home!

Ik ben opgegroeid vroeger met vier honden, twee Duitse herders en twee havanezers (kleine hondjes). Mijn liefde voor honden is enorm groot. Momenteel hebben mijn vriend en ik een hele lieve labradoodle (Valerie), uit het asiel gehaald. Zij is 3 jaar oud en nu bijna 1 jaar bij ons. Wij vinden het leuk om met Valerie naar het Amsterdamse bos te gaan of om ergens anders een lekkere wandeling te maken. Oumnia is een ontzettend lieve en zorgzame oppas voor onze huisdieren. Ze heeft meerdere keren op onze hond en kat gepast terwijl wij op vakantie waren, en alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld. Ze kwam op tijd, hield zich aan alle afspraken en stuurde regelmatig updates. Onze dieren voelden zich duidelijk op hun gemak bij haar. Ook hielp ze met kleine klusjes in huis, zoals planten water geven en de post binnenhalen. Ze is rustig, betrouwbaar en heeft echt hart voor dieren.

Ik ben vaak liever omringd door dieren dan door mensen. Waarom? Door de onvoorwaardelijke liefde en enthousiasme die ze brengen. Ik wandel veel en neem graag een hond mee. Vrienden hebben ook honden en daar zorg ik graag voor. Ik heb ervaring met kleine en grote honden. Mijn ouders hebben een teckel. Vrienden hebben een Weimaraner, een vuilnisbakras uit Griekenland, een rottweiler en een Duitse herder. Ik pas ook vaker op de kat van een vriendin waar ik dan of slaap of langsga om even te knuffelen. Wat over mijn eigen hobbies; ik wandel graag en ben veel buiten. Ook sport ik vaak. Ik ben graag thuis waar ik alleen woon en hou van uitgebreid koken. Een hond zou hier rust vinden en zou veel liefde en aandacht krijgen. Het is voor mij niet mogelijk om een hond een langere periode achter elkaar in huis te geven, omdat ik ook vaak dagen weg ben. Dagopvang en een nachtje logeren kan natuurlijk wel. Ook zou ik wel een langere peride in het huis van het baasje kunnen verblijven.
