Zolang ik me kan herinneren, heb ik altijd met honden geleefd. Van een chihuahua en een teckel, een Duitse herder, naar een mini golden retriever en uiteindelijk een Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever van mijn ouders die ik regelmatig opzoek. Helaas heb ik zelf nog niet 24/7 de tijd voor een eigen hondje dus ik bied mij graag aan als hondenoppas. Met mijn vriend (die ook een hondenliefhebber is) wonen wij in een flatgebouw tegenover een mooi bos met veel losloopplekken dus ideaal voor een hond die van wandelingen houdt. Hier vind u de beste hondenoppas van Amsterdam Oost :) Met een overschot aan liefde en een eindeloos geduld zorg ik voor uw hond. Echter een voorwaarde: hij/zij moet vriendjes worden met mijn kat Morgan. Ik ben veel thuis en heb daarom heel veel tijd om met uw hond te wandelen en knuffelen. Ik heb veel ervaring met honden, ben opgegroeid met een Engelse Cocker Spaniel en heb na een scheiding co-ouderschap met onze hond Lilly, een kruising tussen een whippet en een greyhound. (Zij is op het moment in het buitenland) Ik heb veel ervaring met het zachte karakter van een whippet, maar het ras maakt me niet uit. Zolang ze maar lief zijn. Omdat ik het erg mis om een hond in huis te hebben heb ik besloten me op te geven als oppas. Uw hond zal met veel liefde verwelkomd worden.

Fantastische zorg voor onze 2 whippets tijdens onze vakantie. We werden op de hoogte gehouden en kregen erg leuke foto's. Bij ons volgende tripje gaan ze zeker weer bij Sofie logeren.😊

I’m a Brazilian exchange student of International Business and now I’m on holidays until the end of February, so I have a lot of free time. Ik hou ontzettend veel van honden

Mijn partner David en ik zijn allebei opgegroeid met dieren (honden en katten) en passen geregeld op de honden van familie en vrienden. En met als kers op de taart het Amsterdamse bos, wat met de auto op 5 minuten rijden ligt.

Donalda & David hebben met veel zorg en liefde op Syskha de Chiwawa gepast. Ze is niets tekortgekomen: fijne wandelingen ook in het Amsterdamse Bos, goed gegeten en volop aandacht en knuffels gekregen. Het was ook fijn om foto’s te krijgen en Sys vrolijk te zien. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen, de volgende keer vraag ik hen zeker weer om op Syskha te passen.:dog2:

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

I almost enjoy spending time with dogs more than with people. I really love social dogs and I love playing and training, which I find so rewarding! I get excited when dogs are excited and love learning, so I have no problem leaving the house 10 times a day to potty train a puppy or walk for two hours in the park with an active dog while throwing a ball or doing little search challenges. I also think it's much nicer to cuddle on the couch after a long (or short) day in the park. I have signed up to Petbnb, since I work too much to be a dog mom myself - instead I will be the fun aunt. More about my experience: I've grown up around labradors and a springer spaniel in my family, all family dogs and some also trained and used for hunting. It taught me simple training techniques and made me see the joy that comes with a well-behaved and loved dog. I was the regular dog sitter for a broholmer for a few years, we always had the best time together. Currently I am the regular sitter for an old staffy. We tend to spend more time on the couch than in the park, but that's her preference. I also love bringing her when getting a coffee with friends or take her on a drive somewhere fun outside the city. Additionally I volunteer at a dog shelter, where I clean and go for walks with the dogs. I meet many different breeds here every week, and additionally I get to learn from professional dog trainers and caretakers. I've previously owned an english bulldog, Benji, a young rescue. He had issues with eating, seperation and stress because of his experiences, which I worked on together with a professional trainer. I definitely have a soft spot for those bully breeds now. Dogs communicate so much to us, and it's very important to read their body language, while I only give simple, easy to understand commands and use my body language. I am always calm and let the dog come to me, so they feel more relaxed and they can trust me. I have a lot of patience when getting to know new dogs, and I really appreciate all the little wins along the way, also if your dog has any special needs. More about my personal life: I'm originally from Copenhagen and moved to Amsterdam three years ago, when my boyfriend got a job here. I took a chance, quit my job and moved. I have learned some dutch, but communicate better in english still. I work in the fashion industry in a creative job. - I currently work full time and commute, so only my weekends are available. - We have an elevator in our building, if we are dog sitting in our apartment.
