Ik word blij van blije huisdieren

Ik ben gek op dieren en pas graag op. Als kind hadden wij thuis katten en honden, nu heb ikzelf thuis een poes. Tijdens mijn studie heb ik jarenlang op een bange Vizsla gepast, die na twee keer langskomen me toch helemaal vertrouwde en door het dolle ging van blijdschap als ik aankwam. Ik maakte ook veel lange wandelingen met hem, in alle soorten weer. Dat vond ik hartstikke leuk en zou ik graag weer doen. Roberto gave him space and let him come over on his own when he was ready, and they became friends very quickly. He followed all our instructions, kept the litter boxes clean, and made time to play with both cats. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who needs someone to look after their pets!

Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats and horses and have been actively caring for animals since I was very young. Our family dogs included an Italian Greyhound, Tibetan Spaniel and Chihuahua, and I also had my own cat who came into our family the same week I was born and stayed with us for 21 years, so I truly grew up alongside him. I now also regularly pet sit through Petbnb and have looked after dogs of different ages, sizes and personalities, both for daycare and overnight stays. For about six years, I regularly helped by taking her Rottweilers on walks 1–3 times a week, so I became comfortable around bigger and stronger dogs from a young age. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adults and seniors, including shy animals and pets that need a little more patience and time to feel comfortable. I’m affectionate, calm and attentive, but I also love playing and being active with energetic dogs. Long walks are one of my favourite parts of dog sitting! I live very close to Sloterpark and lots of nature, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. I’m happy to go on longer walks with active dogs, but equally happy to spend the day playing, cuddling or simply keeping a more relaxed pet company at home. Pets are very welcome to stay with me, which is actually my preferred option. I live with my partner in a spacious three-bedroom apartment with a large balcony, and we don't have any pets of our own, so your pet will get plenty of attention and space to feel at home. I’m most comfortable with small and medium-sized dogs, although I also have experience with larger breeds. I’m happy to care for puppies, energetic dogs, seniors and dogs that need a little extra time to warm up. I also have lots of experience with cats and am comfortable with feeding, litter boxes, playtime and both affectionate and more independent personalities. Since moving abroad, having my own pet hasn't suited my lifestyle, and having animals around is something I genuinely miss. Pet sitting gives me the best of both worlds, I get to have that companionship again while giving someone else's pet lots of love, attention and some very good walks. ❤️

Active, caring and happy to meet a new friend

When I lived in Spain, I volunteered at dog shelters, and while I was in Colombia, I was part of an association that fed stray dogs. I’m a fitness instructor at SportCity, so I’m naturally very active and enjoy movement and being outdoors. ik ben een echte hondengek

ik heb als kind altijd dieren om me heen gehad. Van paarden tot honden, van vogels tot konijnen. Mis dat nog steeds, zeker als het om honden gaat. Mag weleens oppassen op de hond van mijn baas maar dat is maar sporadisch. Have just moved to the Netherlands from Ireland and have had to leave my family dogs behind- missing company on my walks and evening cuddles. I know how to tire a dog out with a good walk (and lots of patient sniff stops of they’re that way inclined!) or give them attention if that’s what they need. Dogs are family

I have had dogs my whole life, they were my whole life. I moved from the English countryside to Amsterdam. It is now more difficult for me to commit to owning a dog full time. So, what better way than to spread my love for dogs, with all the dogs out there that need a new friend. Whether that is for a walk, a night, a weekend stay or a week. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing dogs live their best life. I now live looking over a huge park, watching the dogs run around makes me miss spending time with my pups. I work from home, meaning I am available for all your dogs needs and am able to take them for long walks, if thats what they like in the dog friendly park. If that's not what your pup prefers and they just like to chill in the sun chewing on some watermelon, that's also great for me. I want them to enjoy being here as much as I enjoy having them.

We left Luna for the first time and were very worried at first. But all our worries disappeared when we met Jadina and her partner! They are so kind and took amazing care of Luna. They kept sending us pictures every day, so we knew she was doing well. We were so happy that Luna was with them, and we’ll definitely leave her with them again next time we’re away :)

Ik ben onwijs gek op dieren en wil al mijn leven lang graag een honden vriend erbij. Helaas laat ons (mijn vriend en ik) werkleven dit niet toe. Je wil wel de aandacht geven die ze nodig hebben. Daarom is petbnb de plek voor mij om toch een beetje liefde te kunnen geven aan en ontvangen van onze liefste maatjes! Ik ben al mijn leven lang omringd door dieren. Voornamelijk katten, maar ik heb ook vaker gepast op honden (en kippen, maar dat terzijde). Ik ben dus een kenner, verwen ze maar al te graag met dikke knuffels en laat ze graag uit in de natuur. Zo krijgt de hond quality time en wordt ik opgeladen van het buiten zijn en de gezelligheid dat een hond geeft. We hebben twee katten, maar die zijn het grootste gedeelte van de dag buiten en zullen ook niet binnen zijn als ik op de hond pas. Ik ben voornamelijk beschikbaar op zondag, van 09:00 tot 17:00 uur. Dan kan ik oppassen en uitlaten. Ook ben ik beschikbaar op de maandag en woensdag tijdens de lunch (12:00-13:30 uur) om uit te laten. Af en aan ben ik vrijdag in de middag tot 17:00 uur beschikbaar, oppassen in overleg. Het lijkt mij onwijs leuk om op een lieve honden vriend te passen. Iets wat op dit moment niet zelf lukt, maar iets wat ik wel graag wil. Voor ras en leeftijd heb ik geen voorkeur. Iedereen is welkom. Ze zijn hier op het juiste adres voor vrolijkheid, gezelligheid en zelfs liefde en ze helpen mij om niet op een scherm te zitten. Een win-win dus! Rennen, spelen, chillen; ik doe het allemaal.

Hoi, Robin hier! Ik ben opgegroeid met een Dobermann in huis, wat nog steeds één van mijn favoriete rassen is. Hij was fantastisch afgericht, geobsedeerd met ballen en mijn beste vriend. Later kwamen er twee Franse Bassets in huis. Erg schattig, maar ook lekker lui. Deze hondjes hebben de tijd nodig om te snuffelen, dus hoe ik eerst kon rennen en gooien met mijn hond, moest ik nu rustig lopen en soms zelfs even wachten tot de hondjes weer een beetje bij mij in de buurt waren. In mijn tussenjaar woonde ik bij een gezin met twee hondjes uit Ecuador, die allebei totaal verschillend waren. De kleine wilde graag geaaid worden en spelen en de grotere waardeerde rust en af en toe een aai over haar bol, maar hield wel van rennen tijdens het wandelen. Naast dit alles heb ik nog vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij een asiel. Kortom, aan ervaring met verschillende honden heb ik geen tekort. Op het moment studeer ik in Amsterdam. Ik woon in een 18m2 kamertje, waardoor ik liever geen grote honden langs heb, maar wandelen met grotere rassen is zeker geen probleem. Mijn beschikbaarheid varieert, maar overdag heb ik vaak veel vrije tijd, ‘s avonds iets minder.

Lief, duidelijk, behulpzaam. Ze kan goed omgaan met onze springende Hollandse herder. aanrader!

Enthousiaste dierenvriend in Zaandam

Hallo baasjes! Mijn naam is Julia en ik stel mezelf graag even voor. Ik ben opgegroeid in een gezin waar altijd veel dieren aanwezig waren. Van jongs af aan heb ik met veel liefde en plezier voor honden en katten gezorgd. Daarnaast hadden we thuis ook vogels, konijnen en woestijnratjes, waardoor ik ervaring heb met verschillende soorten dieren. Zelf hebben we twee Jack Russells gehad: gezellige, energieke en trouwe honden. Daarnaast heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan met verschillende hondenrassen, zowel via familie en vrienden als door regelmatig op honden te passen. Denk hierbij aan onder andere Engelse en Franse Bulldogs, Shiba's, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Duitse Herders, Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, teckels, poedels, diverse terriërs en verschillende kruisingen. Hierdoor heb ik ervaring met zowel kleine als grote honden, en met uiteenlopende karakters. Sinds april hebben wij zelf ook een pup in huis, geboren in januari. Zij is een kruising tussen een mopshond en een poedel en inmiddels een vrolijke, enthousiaste en zeer sociale jonge hond. Ze is een echte allemansvriend en vindt andere honden geweldig. Daarom vinden wij het belangrijk dat eventuele oppashonden eerst even kennismaken met haar, zodat we kunnen kijken of het een goede match is. Ik ben graag buiten en maak met plezier wandelingen. Wij wonen vlak bij een mooie wandelroute langs het water en op ongeveer 10 minuten rijden van meerdere losloopgebieden, waar honden heerlijk kunnen spelen en hun energie kwijt kunnen. Ik sta open voor opvang voor kortere periodes (tot maximaal één week), maar ook voor een vaste oppashond die bijvoorbeeld één keer per week langskomt wanneer jij aan het werk bent. Stuur gerust een berichtje als je denkt dat wij een goede match zijn voor jouw hond. Ik maak graag kennis met jullie!

Baxter really enjoyed his stay with Julia. She made him feel right at home, and he was clearly very comfortable — lounging on the couch like he owned the place! Julia was also very accommodating when I made a mistake with the dates, which I really appreciated.

I enjoy taking care of dogs. For my 8th birthday my parents gave me the best present of my life—a puppy. Funnily enough, the puppy's name was Gift. He quickly became a family member, and I was his "mom”,taking care of him. Max 1 hond per keer neem ik aan. Of 2 uit 1 gezin Eisen sociaal zindelijk, alleen klein tot medium hondjes! Liefst teefjes of alleen gecastreerde reutjes 2x per jaar mogenlijk als mijne loops zijn. Loopse teven of toch niet zindelijk of erge verlatingsangst komt een kleine toeslag bij. Graag vooraf doorgeven. Altijd vrijblijvend een kennismaking vooraf. En het liefst ook bij langere logees een wendag of proefdraainachtje (tegen normaal tarief) Let op ik ben geen dierenarts en geef geen consulten , help alleen met handelingen die u als eigenaar ook mag doen. De eigenaar moet het dier zelf goed vast houden maar nemen alle tijd om het zo een prettig mogelijke ervaring te maken. Charlie heeft het ontzettend leuk gehad, voelde zich gelijk thuis door Melanie! Ik liet Charlie met een gerust hart achter en werd ook op de hoogte gehouden met foto’s en appjes. Heel fijn en ik ga Melanie zeker vaker vragen mocht het nodig zijn!
