*dutch below* For the last 1,5 year I've been fostering dogs with my girlfriend. The last dog got adopted a month ago and we decided to take a break from fostering. I'm from Chile and in May I'll do my exam to get Dutch citizenship, until then I've loads of free time to walk with dogs. I'm a real dog lover and I love going for walks. Not only dogs, cats are my friend aswell. Rodents aren't my favourite, but to balance that my girlfriend has a lot of experience with them and aquariums. We are a animalhousehold so to say :) Besides my daily Dutch classes of an hour I've not much else to do in a day, I'd love to walk some doggies and take care of other animals now I've the time. De laatste hond is een maand geleden geadopteerd en we hebben besloten om een pauze te nemen van de pleegzorg. Ik kom uit Chili en doe in mei mijn examen voor het Nederlanderschap, tot die tijd heb ik veel vrije tijd om met honden te wandelen. Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber en ga vaak wandelen. Niet alleen honden, katten zijn ook mijn vriend. We zijn een dierenhuishouden zeg maar :) Naast mijn dagelijkse Nederlandse les van een uur heb ik niet veel anders te doen op een dag, ik zou graag wat hondjes uitlaten en andere dieren verzorgen nu ik de tijd heb. At the time, when I was small, I always wanted to adopt a dog but I never had one becasue my parents did not want to adopt one at the time since we had cats. Although I did not have a dog back then, I was taking care of my friends' dogs all the time. Right now I am the brother of the cutest and -thanks to my mom- the fattest cats in the world that are staying in Istanbul. Although at the time I was able to get dogs and cats in my house, due to my new housing contract, unfortunately I am not allowed to do that for some time right now. I am very attentive at feeding hours if there's any preffered and set hours for your pet in that matter. Additionally, I am very active person that frequently exercises. So, I'd like to have your cute friend in those frequent walks/joggings by my side. Also, your pet will be pretty free (even encouraged) to relax with me on the couch if it's allowed. If the weather is nice and if you are okay with it, I can just get your pet and take them to the park for whole day too. I am very polite and I am very flexible with my working hours. I have never been a risk-taker at any point or context in my life. So, if I suspect something may be threatening or harmful for your pet, I either get rid of that threat or I bring your pet to safety because it's better to be safe than sorry. I hope and believe that I can be a worthy caregiver to your adorable friend/child/family member with four legs. Veel buiten, overal naar toe en lekker spelen!!

Mijn naam is Matthijs, woon in Rotterdam en ben 56 jaar. Ik heb HBO Bedrijfskunde gestudeerd en mijn hobby’s zijn fitness, fietsen, zeilen en wandelen. Ik ben alleenstaand en heb geen kinderen en huisdieren. Wij hebben altijd honden gehad in de familie. Van één zelfs een nestje. Na de middelbare school vlogen wij uit om elders te wonen/te studeren. Mijn ouders hadden toen besloten geen honden meer te nemen. Dat vond Ik jammer en mis het nog altijd. Verder wil ik graag mensen helpen die voor de hond tijdelijk onderdak zoeken. Ik kan met veel honden omgaan. Vind het leuk om met ze te spelen, wandelen en ondernemen. Ik heb ervaring met oppassen. Ik heb dan ook altijd tevreden baasjes *****. Mijn referenties zijn altijd op te vragen. Ik laat voor twee mensen 2-3x per week de honden uit en dat doe ik met veel plezier. Ik heb een 3 kamer appartement in Rotterdam Noord in de wijk het Oude Noorden op de 4de verdieping. Er is geen lift aanwezig. Het Ouden Noorden is een rustige wijk waar weinig gebeurt met winkels vlakbij. De wijk heeft een mix van koopwoningen en sociale woningbouw. Dat is beleid vanuit de Gemeente geweest om de wijk leefbaarder en aantrekkelijker te maken om in te wonen. De wijk is redelijk goed te bereiken. Het ligt aan de Rijksweg (A20). Voor noodgevallen zijn er vier dierenklinieken in de buurt . In het algemeen wordt de hond niet langer dan 2 uur alleen gelaten en minimaal 3x uitgelaten. Aan het begin van de avond wil ik ook nog wel eens een wandeling maken. De hond komt zeker aan voldoende beweging. Voor de hond is er in Rotterdam wel wat te doen. Ervaring op doen in de grote stad. Het Kralingse bos met kinderboerderij, hertenkamp en zwemgelegenheid. In en om Rotterdam zijn er losloopgebieden voor korte en lange wandelingen. . We kunnen ook nog naar het strand bij de Hoek van Holland, Monster, ’s Gravenzande of Den Haag Kijkduin. In aangegeven periode\gebieden mogen honden daar loslopen en lekker plonsen. Verder zijn nog veel meer leuke dingen te bedenken en gaat de hond dus overal mee naar toe, maar ook de nodige rust krijgt. Halen en/of brengen behoort tot de mogelijkheid. Ik neem aan dat hij/zij wat speeltjes, riem/tuigje en mand mee krijgt. Een extra nachtje blijven is geen probleem (geen kosten aan verbonden). Graag wil ik nog weten of de hond allergie, speciaal voer heeft, goed in de auto is ,medicijnen gebruikt en trap mag lopen. Traplopen is overigens niet gevaarlijk voor de gezondheid van de hond. Bij een langer verblijf dan een week wordt geadviseerd de hond een keer 2 dagen op het logeeradres te brengen als hij/zij nog geen ervaring heeft. Hier zijn geen kosten aan verbonden. een echte honden vriend

Ik ben heel erg geduldig met honden, mij zie je nooit gefrustreerd raken met honden. Ik bedenk ook. Altijd nieuwe leuke activiteiten om met het hondje te doen.
