The high point of his day is his morning walk, followed by breakfast - to say he is food motivated is a an understatement. When I lived in Houston, I would take him for a walk in the neighborhood every day, and used to attract other cats on the walk. At times I had up to five cats going on walks with me!

I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Hoi! Ik ben gek op dieren en word vooral heel blij van honden en katten. Toen ik nog bij mijn ouders woonde, hadden we een hond waar ik altijd veel voor heb gezorgd. Op mijn tiende kreeg ik mijn eerste hond, meteen een hele grote Bordeaux dog genaamd Diesel. Na 2 jaar kwam daar een nog grotere hond Hooch bij. Beide honden heb ik vele jaren met heel veel plezier verzorgd en van gehouden. Toen ik 10 jaar geleden op mijzelf ben gaan wonen in Amsterdam, ben ik begonnen met het fosteren van honden uit asielen in Spanje en Portugal. Angstige honden, honden van de straat, mishandelde honden en honden die nog nooit aan de riem hebben gelopen, jong, oud, ze zijn allemaal bij mij over de vloer geweest. Ik heb dan ook besloten hem te adopteren en ondertussen zijn we al weer 4 succesvolle jaren verder. Een aantal keer heb ik nog honden uit het asiel opgevangen samen met Simba, maar omdat ik af en toe naar het buitenland toe moet voor werk is opvang vinden voor 2 honden net te lastig. Ik heb ontzettend veel zin om een tweede hond over de vloer te hebben, Simba kan af en toe wel een maatje gebruiken!

Wonend dichtbij het Vondelpark is mijn “dierenhotel” super goed geschikt voor uw hond om te komen spelen of logeren. Op die manier kunnen we lange wandelingen maken in mijn achtertuin. I was very upset that she boarded another dog overnight. To make the things worse ,the other dog was not just the opposite sex from my dog but also, like my dog, not sterilized! Because she did't inform me about this in advance ( in which case I would book someone else) nor did she refuse to sitt another dog ( she was already payed and hired by me ). Her approach was very unprofessional. I am very dissatisfied .o

WHO let the dogs out

4 jaar het baasje geweest van Jimmy (Golden Retriever) tot 2021 en haar ook opgevoed. Mooie jaren met haar in Utrecht beleefd maar daar bij mijn huisgenoten ‘achtergelaten’ i.v.m. een nieuwe baan. Graag sta ik klaar voor baasjes om hen te helpen met het opvangen van hun hond en om vervolgens de natuur in te gaan.
