Hi! ik ben Louise, 18 jaar en opgegroeid tussen dieren. Ik woon op een boerderij en vind het super leuk om voor alle dieren te zorgen. Maar vooral voor honden. Ik ben 30 jaar oud en altijd opgegroeid (vanaf 2 jaar oud) met een hond. Dus uiteraard wil ik graag zelf op termijn ook een hond ; maar for the time being zou ik heel graag willen oppassen. Sowieso om een hond in te masseren bij mijn vriend ;) maar vooral omdat ik honden zo leuk vind! Ik vind het heerlijk om met mijn moeder en de hond te wandelen en loop ook graag hard met een hond (altijd wel een hardloop wedstrijd waar ik voor train dus de nodige KM in het bos zijn zeker aanwezig)! Gezellig om tijdens thuiswerken een buddy te hebben voor mijn standaard wandelingen tussen het werken door. En natuurlijk voor knuffel en speelsessies als werk afleiding!

Ik ben opgegroeid met veel dieren om me heen en ik heb altijd honden in huis gehad. Als hondeneigenaar ben ik bekend met veel verschillende hondenrassen van groot tot klein. Hoi! Ik ben gek op dieren en word vooral heel blij van honden en katten. Toen ik nog bij mijn ouders woonde, hadden we een hond waar ik altijd veel voor heb gezorgd. Growing up, there was not a single animal species I did not take care of. In my family house, we had chickens, rabbits, ducks, turtles, all types of birds and of course dogs and cats. I grew up in Cyprus, where is full of stray animals that help need. They somehow seemed like they knew I could understand whats wrong with them. I was pretty sure I could speak the language of these stray animals, because they always found me when they need help. I am a big nature lover, I am not afraid to make my hands dirty. There is basically nothing in the world that makes me nauseous and I am very cold-blooded person in emergencies. I know basic first aid both for human and animals thanks to my mom who was both a nurse and first-aid trainer. I have petsit before thousands of times for my neighbors and friends back in Cyprus. And I have a dog walker certification for dogs until 20 kilos from my country. My best friend in my hometown currently is my cat Chaos, who just turned 5 years old two days ago. Although I am currently studying Masters in Neuroscience in VU, I really want to do something about wildlife preservation in my future career. I adore and respect all the animals and creatures that shares the world with us. We owe them a lot and I just want to humbly do what I can do to contribute. I find peace in cuddling with cats an dogs

I have lived with a cat since I was 6 years old. She was my best friend. When i got older, around 13 or so, my cat got sick so I wanted to be the one giving her medicine (oral) and feeding her. Sadly,she passed in 2024 and later we adopted another cat, which became my other best friend. I care deeply for her, in the family I am usually who gives her food andcleans the litter, and she feels super close to me as I spent a lot of time with her when she was very little. I grew up with doberman and a poodle, and describe the doberman as my best childhood friend. I had 3 cats in my adulthood who lived well into old age. Due to a lot of travel for my work, I made the conscious decision not to have animals of my own in this phase of my life. I have been doing pet sitting for many years.
