Hey hondeneigenaar, wij zijn Regina & Luuk, twee hondenliefhebbers met een gebrek aan honden. Wij wonen vlakbij het Oosterpark in Amsterdam. Beide hebben we vroeger honden gehad en dit is iets dat we graag weer terug willen in ons leven. We hebben ervaring met het oppassen van een paar verschillende andere honden via dit platform of van familie. Gelukkig vinden de meeste honden ons al snel leuk. We hebben een druk sociaal leven, maar zijn alsnog ook vaak thuis omdat vooral Luuk vanuit thuis werkt. Regina is actief en houdt van lange wandelingen langs de Amstel. We kijken ernaar uit om weer vaker een hond in ons leven te hebben.

Please read all the info below before making your booking! I have been around and taken care of dogs my entire life. We had two dogs when I was a child I was trusted taking care of and walk during my lunch breaks at school from a very young age. My family travelled a lot when I was young and wherever we went I would find packs of street dogs to play with, which now when I’m a parent sounds insane (and quite dangerous) but it very much shaped how I see and relate to dogs and taught me how to communicate, read body language and understand pack dynamic. I have adopted and fostered many dogs throughout my life, and have been watching and training dogs for friends and family over the years many times. Also very interested in dog psychology and behaviour in general, and their inner workings is a genuine interest for me. Dog sitting is my full time job, I’m very good at it and take it seriously. I usually spend most of my days outside with the dogs I have, it’s great for exercise and socialising and we all enjoy fresh air and sunshine. I also enjoy to bring them along for outings or other activities since I love the company. My kids are at school during the day so I have lots of time and I really enjoy walking and being outside so it’s absolutely not a chore. Different dogs have different needs of course and I do my best to accommodate that. I love biking with dogs since you can sort of “play run” together and it’s a great way to get a lot of exercise for high energy dogs, and even if a dog is not used to running next to a bike, most get the hang of it fast and I am of course very careful to make sure there’s no accidents. My house is also full of toys, activity puzzles and games, it’s important they get mental simulation as well physical. My kids are good and calm with animals, and love dogs so they are delighted about weekend stays but of course they don’t walk them and I generally don’t leave my kids alone with the dogs I host. Our cat Styx, a Maine Coon male, is raised around dogs and makes friends with most of them given a bit of time, even dogs that otherwise goes nuts when they see a cat outside! We live in a house with a lift so larger or older dogs doesn’t have to climb down stairs, the flat itself has three floors so easy and spacious with the cat living upstairs and visiting dogs downstairs. Some dogs I have regularly of course get upstairs privileges when we’re all comfortable together and maybe aren’t covered in mud! The size of the flat does also mean I can easily keep dogs and cats separated so there’s never been an issue in all the years I’ve been doing this. The downstairs floor is also large enough to keep dogs separated if necessary, I have lots of fences and baby gates I can set up. The terrace is great for fresh air and playtime. We also live very close to many green areas suitable for off leash walking, biking and swimming. I have experience with and really enjoy large dogs and don’t mind being out entire days with wolf/working breeds if they need it. My philosophy is that a dog that is provided a lot of exercise, play, boundaries, structure and a calm and assertive pack leader will be a happy and balanced one! Please note! -Do provide food, toys, chew bones, treats and toilet bags for your dogs visit. If requested I can provide this but will ask to be refunded for any additional expenses. I have lots of bowls, towels and beds etc so no need to bring that. -If your dog needs a lot of special attention, is not fully house trained or have a very labour intensive schedule you need to inform me of this in advance so we can discuss. Also if your dog can’t be together with other dogs or off leash I need to know before we finalise the booking. -I can’t accept dogs with severe behavioural problems or that barks a lot. If there are undisclosed issues like aggression, barking or destructive/unmanageable behaviour I reserve the right to terminate the booking and request you to find another arrangements for the rest of the stay, or I will ask an extra fee so be aware of this. Please don’t downplay issues since that will only cause trouble for everyone involved later on. -I will accept bookings for cats if they are spayed/neutered and very good with other cats, dogs and kids. Enthousiaste, energieke & betrouwbare oppas!

Over mij: Sinds ik op mijzelf woon pas ik regelmatig op honden (en soms katten): gewoon omdat ik het leuk vind en graag buiten ben! Zelf een huisdier nemen is geen mogelijkheid gezien mijn fulltime baan, dus dit is een fijne oplossing met alleen maar winnaars! Aanvullende info: Ik heb 3,5 jaar in een dierenasiel gewerkt en daardoor ervaring met kleine honden (0-10kg), maar ook met grote honden zoals Turkse Herders (45-55kg). Ik deins daarom echt niet terug door het uiterlijk van een hond en de vooroordelen die bestaan over een ras, maar ik vind het wel belangrijk dat de hond betrouwbaar en goed opgevoed is. Neem gerust contact op! Ik ben flexibel en denk graag mee. - Op vrijdagen alleen vanaf eind van de middag (tenzij feestdag). - In weekenden ook in omgeving Twente mogelijk.

Onze Bowie heeft echt een geweldige week met Anouk gehad! Onze dalmaat is namelijk best een eigenzinnig geval en houdt niet zo van verandering. Dat wij een weekje zonder haar op vakantie gaan, vindt ze al niet zo leuk en moet ze echt even uit haar comfortzone komen. Maar daarom was het des te fijner dat ze wel lekker in haar eigen omgeving kon blijven en Anouk zich een hele week over haar heeft ontfermd in ons huis. Het is vantevoren best spannend hoe dat zal uitpakken, maar Anouk is echt een zeer betrokken oppas met veel hondenkennis en -ervaring. Door haar rust en geduld, hebben wij ook echt kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Ze stuurde ons elke dag even een korte update en het huis was helemaal netjes toen we weer thuis kwamen. Wij zijn superblij met Anouk en de volgende keer gaan we haar zeker weer vragen, ze echt een topper!

Dol op honden – wandelen & knuffelen in Ams

Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en ben echt een enorme hondenliefhebber. Thuis hadden we twee lieve labradoodles, dus wandelen, spelen, verzorgen en vooral heel veel knuffelen met honden is voor mij altijd heel vanzelfsprekend geweest. 🐾 Met mijn baan als consultant lukt het me helaas niet om zelf fulltime een hond te hebben, hoe graag ik dat ook zou willen. Juist daarom vind ik het extra leuk om via Petbnb op honden te passen en zo toch regelmatig een gezellige viervoeter om me heen te hebben. Ik pas nog vaak op de honden van mijn ouders wanneer zij op vakantie zijn en in Amsterdam zorg ik ook regelmatig voor de honden van vrienden. Ik heb daardoor veel ervaring met het verzorgen van honden en weet hoe belangrijk het is dat een hond zich veilig, ontspannen en op zijn gemak voelt bij iemand anders. Ik wandel zelf graag en vind het heerlijk om samen op pad te gaan, maar ben minstens zo blij met een gezellige avond op de bank en een hond die graag komt knuffelen. Voor mij is oppassen dan ook echt iets waar ik veel plezier uit haal – en niet alleen een manier om een extra zakcentje te verdienen 🐶

Ik wil graag op je hond passen

Ik houd van niet al te grote honden, die graag willen knuffelen! Ik houd ze het liefst aangelijnd buiten, omdat ik een Shiba Inu gewend ben die nog wel eens de hort op gaat. Ik ben verschillende soorten honden gewend en mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar rustigere honden, deels omdat ik in een niet al te groot appartement woon. Er is een binnentuin, maar daar kan de hond eigenlijk niet terecht, wel zijn er veel parken in de buurt voor een langere wandeling! Tijdens een werkdag kan ik drie keer wandelen met de hond. Het lijkt mij leuk om op je hond te passen en naar het park te gaan samen!

Jet was erg fijn, ondanks dat Rumi een beetje lastig was (hormonaal van slag). Maar jet was een topper!

Honden liefhebbers in de Rivierenbuurt 🤎

Hi, ik ben Aileen! Ik werk als freelance fotograaf, waardoor ik doordeweeks vaak flexibel ben en veel vanuit huis werk. Ik woon samen met mijn vriend, die ook zzp'er is. Daardoor is er bijna altijd wel iemand thuis. Daarom lijkt het ons leuk om af en toe op honden te passen via Petbnb. Ik ben opgegroeid met honden en heb eigenlijk altijd honden om me heen gehad. Vroeger hadden wij thuis een Briard en tegenwoordig hebben mijn ouders een Labradoodle, Cavapoo en een Roemeense straathond. Daarnaast heb ik de afgelopen jaren regelmatig op hun honden gepast. Mijn vriend en ik hebben zelf ook een hond: Moos, een jonge Border Collie x Samojeed kruising. Hij is sociaal, speels en kan goed overweg met andere honden. Daarom vinden we het belangrijk dat een eventuele logeerhond ook vriendelijk is naar andere honden. We wonen in de Rivierenbuurt in Amsterdam, in een ruim appartement met twee balkons. Op loopafstand liggen verschillende parken en groenstroken waar we dagelijks wandelen. Honden die bij ons logeren worden echt onderdeel van ons dagelijks leven: we maken fijne wandelingen, zorgen voor voldoende rust en natuurlijk ook voor de nodige aandacht en knuffels. Omdat we maar af en toe oppassen, nemen we alleen honden aan waarvan we denken dat ze goed bij ons en bij Moos passen. Daarom vinden we het fijn om vooraf eerst even kennis te maken. Stuur gerust een berichtje als je denkt dat jouw hond zich bij ons thuis zou voelen 🐶

Onze labradoodle Kiwi heeft 3 weekjes bij Aileen en haar vriend mogen logeren. Ging super! Veel updates en foto’s gekregen en onze lieve kiwi is erg goed verzorgd :grin: heel blij mee!
