Since leaving my parents place when I was 18, I have been craving to be able to take care of dogs. During my whole childhood I grew up around (big) dogs at my grandparent's house as well as at my home. My grandpa taught me the do's and don'ts and how to train them and I would regularly take care of their dogs as well as the dogs of family friends. From age 10 to 18 we also had a male German Sheppard at home who I always felt was my "bear" brother. I'm definitely the kind of guy who will stop in the middle of the street to chat with someone about their dog and ask if I can pet him/her. I'm not afraid of any type of dog and feel confident being able to impose myself when needed while remaining calm and respectful. I'm a sporty guy who goes outside a lot and likes to go for long walks in nature or a run - also with my friends or my girlfriend. I could play with dogs for hours. I currently live on the top floor of a spacious flat with rooftop in Oud West near most of the big parks including Westerpark, Rembrandtpark, Erasmuspark and Vondelpark. Regarding the prices and hours, I'm quite flexible and happy to discuss them with you as for me this is really more of a pleasure than a side job. I currently work at New Balance and am flexible to work from home whenever I want and to structure my days to my needs. Wonend dichtbij het Vondelpark is mijn “dierenhotel” super goed geschikt voor uw hond om te komen spelen of logeren. Op die manier kunnen we lange wandelingen maken in mijn achtertuin. Zoals ik het park zelf noem. Ook heb ik mijn eigen kleine tuintje waar uw viervoeter goed kan spelen. Of om uw hond uit te laten ben ik zeer geschikt. Zelf heb ik geen hond, maar die zou ik heel graag willen. Helpen wij elkaar uit de brand? Ik door op uw hond te passen en uw hond leert mij of het in mijn leven past. I was very upset that she boarded another dog overnight. To make the things worse ,the other dog was not just the opposite sex from my dog but also, like my dog, not sterilized! Because she did't inform me about this in advance ( in which case I would book someone else) nor did she refuse to sitt another dog ( she was already payed and hired by me ). Her approach was very unprofessional. I am very dissatisfied .o

Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en katten. Van een puberende meubilair opetende Saarlooswolfshond, rondrennende Bordercollie tot geadopteerde hondjes uit diverse landen. Hallo! Wij zijn Karlijn en Niels, 30 en 29 jaar oud. Karlijn werkt bij postNL en Niels heeft zijn eigen kledingmerk. Wij wonen met veel plezier in de Javastraat en het lijkt ons super leuk af en toe een nieuwe vriend over de vloer te hebben. Wanneer een hondje hier op bezoek is zal hij/zij een overdosis aandacht en liefde krijgen. Wij hebben de tijd om veel naar buiten te gaan als de hond hierom vraagt en onze flexibele werkschema’s zorgen ervoor dat we (indien nodig) meerdere dagen thuis kunnen zijn. Beste vrienden van Niels zijn ouders hebben altijd meerdere labradors en teckels gehad waar hij vaak op heeft moesten passen of hele vakanties mee samen was. Hier heeft hij altijd aandachtig geluisterd wat de zorg van een hond vraagt en hier is ook deels de liefde ontstaan. Een eigen hond is voor ons nu geen optie maar een hondje op bezoek af en toe zou ons heel blij maken! Wij kijken enorm uit naar de nieuwe vrienden die we over de vloer gaan hebben!
