Grote hond liefhebber opzoek naar hondjes!

Ik ben zelf echt opgegroeid met honden, en mis een hondje in huis! Alleen heb ik daar nog niet geld voor, maar dit lijkt me dus een leuke oplossing. Ik ben een master student (in bewegingwetenschappen) die komende maanden haar tijd zelf in kan delen (vanwege scriptie), dus dat is ook fijn voor het uitlaten, verzorging etc. Verder heb ik 1 andere huisgenoot die ook een grote hond liefhebber is, en ook mee kan helpen. Ik vind alle hondjes even leuk en lief en hou ervan om lang te wandelen in het park, te knuffelen en veel te spelen. Ik heb een grasveld voor de deur en een park om de hoek dus dat is handig met uitlaten. Door de jaren heen heb ik op verschillende hondjes gepast. Een engelse Stafford, Australische herder, Beagle puppy, chihuahua puppy en ik pas regelmatig op de ruwharige dwergtackel van mijn tante. Ik vind grotere honden ook leuk maar heb daar wel iets minder ervaring mee en ze passen niet helemaal in mijn kleinere appartement. Hopelijk tot snel!

Ik paste in het verleden regelmatig op een 🐶Tibetaanse Terrier, een Frenchie, Golden Retriever puppy, Maltezer (recent 2 weken) en een 🐱Ragdoll (recent 3 maanden). Ik ben een enorme dierenvriendin, en honden hebben daarbij een speciaal plekje in mijn hart. [ENGLISH BELOW] Hi! Wij zijn Braden (27) en Ashley (28). Wij wonen sinds 2023 samen in Amsterdam, nadat Braden (Brits/Zuid-Afrikaans) is verhuisd naar Nederland. Wij hebben beide altijd verschillende soorten honden gehad en missen dit enorm nu wij zelf samen (nog) geen hond hebben. Daarom vinden we het superfijn om via deze manier anderen uit de brand te kunnen helpen én zelf omringd te blijven met viervoeters. Wij wonen 5 minuutjes van zowel Rembrandtpark als Erasmuspark (hier heb je zelfs een plek speciaal voor honden!) vandaan wat een ideale omgeving is om erop uit te gaan. Ook werken we allebei grotendeels thuis en zijn we ontzettend flexibel, waardoor we veel aandacht hebben voor oppashonden of makkelijk langs kunnen komen voor een wandeling. We hebben verder geen voorkeur voor een bepaalde dag of hoeveelheid dagen, mits we genoeg tijd hebben om het in te plannen. Ashley heeft een aantal jaar geleden met haar eigen Shi-Tzu en Chihuahua een nestje gehad, en dus ervaring met zowel het opvoeden van (zeer) jonge puppies als omgang met senioren. Natuurlijk is iedereen hond anders, maar we zijn er erg van bewust waar verschillende rassen en leeftijden aan toe zijn (en waar niet!). Last but not least, staan we er allebei voor open om natuurlijk even (digitaal of thuis) kennis te maken. We snappen dat het best spannend kan zijn. Dogs are my favourite people

I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. Gezocht: viervoeter die nieuwe vrienden wil maken!

Kinderen in vachtjes heaven

Ik heb zelf een hond van bijna 1 jaar. Hij is gek op spelen en houdt er van om op avontuur te gaan in het bos, het park en het strand. Hij is heel sociaal, maar wel druk, dus als je hond zelf niet houdt van drukke honden, dan is mijn huis wellicht geen fijne plek! Ik ben zelf op woensdagen vrij, dan wandel ik extra veel. Ik kan doorgaans veel thuiswerken dus ben flexibel met dagopvang. Ik ga 1 a 2 keer per dag naar het park voor een uitgebreide wandeling en neem balletjes mee om te spelen. Daarnaast maak ik vaak ook nog een ommetje hier in de buurt. Liever geen teefjes die niet gesteriliseerd zijn!

Het was een groot feest voor Tam! Super vriendelijk en flexibel.

Dierenhotel aan het vondel

Wonend dichtbij het Vondelpark is mijn “dierenhotel” super goed geschikt voor uw hond om te komen spelen of logeren. Op die manier kunnen we lange wandelingen maken in mijn achtertuin. Zoals ik het park zelf noem. Ook heb ik mijn eigen kleine tuintje waar uw viervoeter goed kan spelen. Of om uw hond uit te laten ben ik zeer geschikt. Zelf heb ik geen hond, maar die zou ik heel graag willen. Helpen wij elkaar uit de brand? Ik door op uw hond te passen en uw hond leert mij of het in mijn leven past. Met mijn grote liefde voor dieren gaat dat zeker goedkomen. Vragen? Schroom dan vooral niet!

I was very upset that she boarded another dog overnight. To make the things worse ,the other dog was not just the opposite sex from my dog but also, like my dog, not sterilized! Because she did't inform me about this in advance ( in which case I would book someone else) nor did she refuse to sitt another dog ( she was already payed and hired by me ). Her approach was very unprofessional. I am very dissatisfied .o

I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Ruby was very sweet with Scotty. Took great care of him and sent me reassuring pictures when I left him with her for a couple of days. Would highly recommend her.
