wij zijn grote dierenliefhebber en hebben 11 jaar met onze hond Jackson geleefd. Na zijn overlijden missen we de warmte en gezelligheid van een dier in huis, maar we zijn nog niet klaar om zelf een nieuwe hond te nemen. Hierdoor heb ik veel kennis van gedrag, training en veilige omgang met verschillende rassen. Ik (Luna) heb veel ervaring met verschillende rassen honden, en voel ze goed aan! Wij zijn rustig, geduldig, liefdevol en duidelijk, en we zorgen ervoor dat ieder dier zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Wij lopen bijna elke dag in het park en jou lieve viervoeter is altijd welkom :) We hebben beiden ook al 14 jaar ervaring met katten, dus die zijn ook meer dan welkom!

Home away from home!

I live with my husband, who love dogs as much as I do and also have experience taking care of them & we love having a furry friend at our place to shower lot of love! I have been on other petsitting apps , where I have taken care of almost 10-15 dogs for the past 3 years. Ik hou van honden en help graag op de jouwe passen. Vrienden weten mij altijd te vinden om op hun honden te passen. Ik werk regelmatig thuis en heb altijd genoeg tijd om te wandelen en te spelen. Met geduld en liefde bied ik jouw hond een fijne tijd, zodat jij met een gerust hart weg kunt.

I almost enjoy spending time with dogs more than with people. I really love social dogs and I love playing and training, which I find so rewarding! I get excited when dogs are excited and love learning, so I have no problem leaving the house 10 times a day to potty train a puppy or walk for two hours in the park with an active dog while throwing a ball or doing little search challenges. Hello from a local dog lover and enthusiast! I have loved dogs for all of my life, and had my own (Captain, a rescued mutt) since I was 12 years old. Although I've only sporadically had a dog in my own vicinity since then, I spent a few months dog-sitting a doberman during a workaway two years ago, and spent this summer on a husky kennel in Tana, Norway caring for and doing the daily routines of 47 huskies (including 4 puppies and 11 yearlings). My experience with dogs I would consider wide-ranging, and I am so happy to hang out with dogs as it really brings me the greatest joy. I have a cosy and relatively large flat which I share with my roommate who is a horseback-rider and fellow animal lover and enthusiast. This means that your pooch will get a 2-for-1 deal and friend in us both (although the dog would be my responsibility and remain in my space mostly). However, as there are two of us, and I live in a building with many friends nearby, the dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. I am a student with a schedule that is heavy on Mondays and Thursdays, with the other days all 'off' (and a 3 hour course on Wednesdays), meaning I have plenty of free time to watch after and hang out with a canine companion. Additionally, there is always someone nearby should there be an emergency that needs tending to, and my uni is a 6 minute walk from the flat, for extra insurance.
