Hoi! Wij zijn Donalda (32 jaar) en David (36 jaar) en ouders van een dochtertje van 4 jaar oud en wij zijn dol op dieren! Mijn partner David en ik zijn allebei opgegroeid met dieren (honden en katten) en passen geregeld op de honden van familie en vrienden. Omdat het op dit moment niet helemaal passend is in ons leven om zelf voor een huisdier te kiezen, vinden wij het wel extra leuk om geregeld op te passen als dit schikt. Wij wonen in Amsterdam (Buitenveldert) en hebben ook een tuin. Daarnaast wonen wij dichtbij het ‘Ecolint’ wat een fijn wandelgebied is voor honden. En met als kers op de taart het Amsterdamse bos, wat met de auto op 5 minuten rijden ligt.

Donalda & David hebben met veel zorg en liefde op Syskha de Chiwawa gepast. Ze is niets tekortgekomen: fijne wandelingen ook in het Amsterdamse Bos, goed gegeten en volop aandacht en knuffels gekregen. Het was ook fijn om foto’s te krijgen en Sys vrolijk te zien. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen, de volgende keer vraag ik hen zeker weer om op Syskha te passen.:dog2:

Wij passen met het gezin (twee volwassenen en twee pubers) al jaren op honden en poezen van vrienden en bekenden uit de buurt en zorgen met alle liefde ook voor jouw huisdier, hond en of poes. Het liefst gaan we met de hond wandelen in het park, dat kan zijn in het Vondelpark, Westerpark, Sarphathiepark of welk ander park dan ook om heerlijk te kunnen spelen met n bal of iets anders waar de hond dol op is. We houden ervan om samen op pad te zijn maar ook een heerlijke knuffel op zijn tijd vinden we ook belangrijk.

I have had my dog since he was a puppy. My wife wants another one, but I'm not sure yet, as we might move intercontinental in a couple of years and the idea of a dog in a plane, sedated, stresses me out. helping others to take of their dog seems like a good combination to help others, while giving her a second dog in the house every now and then. Because we both are able to be working from home, there will be someone home most days though and for the the days we are not, we try to work half a day from home. once or twice a week, it might be up to 8 hours though, so that should be possible. therefore puppies are not a great fit, even though I would love to have one around. Normal walkschedule is a short walk in the morning. 30 minutes at lunch to a dog park. 15-60 minutes after work, depending on the weather. and 10 minutes before bed. Of course the dog gets lots of love and an elderly friend in Bammbamm. (please note that we do have stairs in our house) Ik spreek overigens ook Nederlands.

Als ervaren hondenbezitter heb ik jarenlang met veel plezier een Oud-Duitse Herder en een Berner Sennen gehad. Hierbij heb ik zelf de volledige opvoeding gedaan en ben daardoor goed bekend met het gedrag, de behoeften en de kracht van grote honden. Overigens zijn kleine honden ook welkom. Op dit moment heb ik zelf even geen tijd om weer een hond te nemen, maar wél de tijd, ruimte en aandacht om op te passen. I grew up in a house with 3 dogs, knowing that the dog children came before the human children, so I always treat the dogs I look after much the same way. They get a little spoiled, but I also make sure that they know the boundaries and to stick to any specific training or routines their owners normally have. I commonly look after quite a needy dog, so am also used to having a dog around as my shadow if you have a pooch who has some separation anxiety issues. I think its important to let the dog get to know you first, and make sure they feel comfortable so if that means a couple of home visits before they come to stay that is fine for me. There is a small dog park right by my house, and I live near a number of parks so there is always lots of opportunity for the dogs to run around and play, or be walked in grassy areas. At the moment I have quite flexible availability, and am always open to discussing the options to work out what is best for you and your doggo. I don't have a specific preference for the type of dogs I take care of, I love them all.

I had 3 years of experience taking care of my dog and cat when I lived at my parents’ place, before that I had experience pet sitting my grandparents’ dog. Now I also have experience pet sitting dogs at my current place for short term (2-3 days) and a bit longer period (3 weeks), and it has been working quite well. When I am spending time with dogs, usually I will take them to parks or somewhere peaceful and full of nature. I will play balls (or their favorite toys) with them, and let them walk/run as much as they want. I always bring a water bottle, wet cleaning paper, and a trash bag with me, so when dogs are thirsty, I can give them water, or when they get dirty, I can clean them with the wet paper, and after they poop, I will pick it up and put it in the trash bag. It’s important to make our little friends feel happy, relaxed, and content, while keeping the environment clean. With cats I am quite experienced, because I spent almost everyday with my cat during Covid. We shared the bed together every night, and I love giving him massages and petting his little belly. I am quite sensitive to cats’ abnormal behaviors, so if anything goes wrong I can notice very fast. I find cats very lovable and healing, and luckily cats usually find me trustworthy. My room is 27 square meters, and I have a big living room, so there will be enough space for cats/dogs. Besides, there is a beautiful park near my place. If you need someone to take care of your pets, I highly recommend myself :)

Ik vind het ontzettend leuk om op huisdieren te passen en ervoor te zorgen dat ze zich veilig, geliefd en comfortabel voelen. Ik heb ervaring met het oppassen op honden en vind het heerlijk om met ze te wandelen, te spelen en ze veel aandacht te geven. Daarnaast werk ik bij een hondenopvang, waar ik dagelijks met veel verschillende honden te maken heb. Hierdoor heb ik ervaring met verschillende rassen, groottes en karakters. Ooit 7 Bali dogs gehad..............:))

Ik heb 13 jaar op Bali gewoond waar ik ooit 7 honden heb gehouden. Voornamelijk Bali dogs die op de stranden of langs de kanten van de weg zijn gedropt. Met veel pijn in mijn hart zijn 5 honden vergiftigd en 2 heb ik moeten laten inslapen. Waarvan de laatste vorig jaar februari. Nu éénmaal terug in Amsterdam mis ik mijn dagelijkse gezelschap van de viervoeter. Daarom wil ik graag zo nu en dan op een hond passen die voldoet aan mijn profiel. Omdat mijn werk als sustainable designer | entrepeneur voor een deel in ZO Azië plaats vindt is het praktisch onmogelijk om zelf nog een hond te houden.

Ik heb zelf een hond van bijna 1 jaar. Hij is gek op spelen en houdt er van om op avontuur te gaan in het bos, het park en het strand. Hij is heel sociaal, maar wel druk, dus als je hond zelf niet houdt van drukke honden, dan is mijn huis wellicht geen fijne plek! Ik ben zelf op woensdagen vrij, dan wandel ik extra veel. Ik kan doorgaans veel thuiswerken dus ben flexibel met dagopvang. Ik ga 1 a 2 keer per dag naar het park voor een uitgebreide wandeling en neem balletjes mee om te spelen. Daarnaast maak ik vaak ook nog een ommetje hier in de buurt. Liever geen teefjes die niet gesteriliseerd zijn!

Het was een groot feest voor Tam! Super vriendelijk en flexibel.
