Im Carla, a 25yo graphic designer from Spain! Ive always lived with dogs! Actually missing my 6yo shelter mixed dog Dobby in Spain but visiting him a couple of times a year and always bringing him toys (that he destroys in 5 min). I love animals!! I am living in De Pijp so i can walk around Amstel river or Sarphatipark (2 min walking from my house) which i belive is a nice walk for the doggies. While my own two dogs—a calm and sweet 9-year-old brown Labrador and a velcro-dog 2-year-old Chihuahua—are currently back home in France with my family, I’ve been surrounded by pets most of my life. I also spent six years abroad when I was younger, where I had eight rabbits, and I’ve looked after cats and dogs of all kinds, including terriers and a Golden Retriever. Here in Amsterdam, I live with roommates who have pets of their own back home; a cat and two Chihuahuas. So we're all used to caring for animals. I’m used to animals with different personalities, and I especially love spending time with affectionate, velcro-type dogs who like to stick close and get plenty of attention. I’m also happy to play, cuddle, or just be a calming presence for older pets. We live just a two-minute walk from Oosterpark, which is perfect for regular walks and playtime if your dog needs a lot of outside time. There’s almost always someone home, so your pet will rarely be alone and I can guarantee will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. I can also help with oral medication if your dog needs it mixed into food, as I've done this with my Labrador. One thing to note however, our apartment is on the second floor with typical Amsterdam stairs. Most dogs manage just fine, but if your animal has mobility issues, it’s something to consider. I’m available any time and happy to help, whether it’s for a weekend, a longer stay, or a last-minute booking. Hoi, Robin hier! Ik ben opgegroeid met een Dobermann in huis, wat nog steeds één van mijn favoriete rassen is. Hij was fantastisch afgericht, geobsedeerd met ballen en mijn beste vriend. Later kwamen er twee Franse Bassets in huis. Erg schattig, maar ook lekker lui. Deze hondjes hebben de tijd nodig om te snuffelen, dus hoe ik eerst kon rennen en gooien met mijn hond, moest ik nu rustig lopen en soms zelfs even wachten tot de hondjes weer een beetje bij mij in de buurt waren. In mijn tussenjaar woonde ik bij een gezin met twee hondjes uit Ecuador, die allebei totaal verschillend waren. De kleine wilde graag geaaid worden en spelen en de grotere waardeerde rust en af en toe een aai over haar bol, maar hield wel van rennen tijdens het wandelen. Naast dit alles heb ik nog vrijwilligerswerk gedaan bij een asiel. Kortom, aan ervaring met verschillende honden heb ik geen tekort. Op het moment studeer ik in Amsterdam. Ik woon in een 18m2 kamertje, waardoor ik liever geen grote honden langs heb, maar wandelen met grotere rassen is zeker geen probleem. Mijn beschikbaarheid varieert, maar overdag heb ik vaak veel vrije tijd, ‘s avonds iets minder.

Lief, duidelijk, behulpzaam. Ze kan goed omgaan met onze springende Hollandse herder. aanrader!

Mijn man werkt en mijn dagelijkse bezigheid is wandelen en spelen met onze hond. In plaats van een hond erbij nemen, hebben wij besloten om te gaan oppassen op honden. Honden: Soort honden waar wij op willen passen: Goed gesocialiseerde honden maximaal gemiddeld qua grootte. Geen vechthonden ras (pitbull, etc.). Onze dagelijks ritueel voor onze eigen hond: 07:30u Ontbijt en 1ste rondje voor plassen en poepen 10:00u Grote ronde in park of bos van circa 1 uur. 12:00u Tussendoortje 14:00u Grote ronde in park of bos/strand van circa 1 uur. 17:00u Diner en rondje voor plasje 20:00u Laatste rondje voor plasje en evt poepje voor t slapen gaan. Wat doe ik tijdens uitjes en tussen de uitjes door: Verschillende (bal)spelletjes, trek- en of apporteerspelletjes, zwemmen als t weer het toelaat. Goed om te weten: De hondjes zijn nooit alleen en krijgen veel aandacht. U kan altijd bellen, videocallen of om een foto vragen. Bij oudere hondjes, zoals de onze, wordt uiteraard rustiger gedaan. Wij wonen in Amsterdam Zuid, nabij Surinameplein, Vondelpark, Rembrandtpark. Katten: Katten nemen wij niet in huis. Wel is het mogelijk om katten aan huis te bezoeken: 2x per dag vers water geven, poepbak schoonmaken, eten geven en minimaal 30min spelen. Ervaring: Wij hebben ons hele leven honden en/of katten thuis gehad, dus veel ervaring met onze 4 voeters. Het oppassen op de huisdieren van iemand anders is wel nieuw voor ons en zijn dan ook uiterst voorzichtig. Wij nemen dan ook in beginfase maximaal 1 oppashond aan. Met vreemde honden zal er altijd een lange lijn gebruikt worden bij het wandelen/uitlaten, daar we uiteraard niet willen dat deze over straat gaat rennen op zoek naar t baasje.
