Pet Lover Missing Her dog& Ready to Care for Yours

Since the day I was born, I have always lived with an animal. I have cared for many different animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, budgies, fish, turtles, parrots, and hamsters. I recently moved here from abroad, and to ease the longing I feel for my dogs, I wanted to help take care of someone else’s pet and look after them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring my dogs with me because they are large and live with my mom in a house with a big garden. I have experience with animals that are in difficult situations, including dogs that are anxious, aggressive, or depressed. My own dog was one of them—he had a challenging temperament, but over the years, with patience and care, he became much calmer. Because of this experience, I understand how to approach and care for dogs with special needs, helping them feel safe and comfortable.

Have just moved to the Netherlands from Ireland and have had to leave my family dogs behind- missing company on my walks and evening cuddles. I know how to tire a dog out with a good walk (and lots of patient sniff stops of they’re that way inclined!) or give them attention if that’s what they need. I understand that all owners have their own way with their pets and am more than happy to follow those rules too. Was never lucky enough to have a cat due to family member allergies so am very excited to get to spend some time with some. A huge animal lover, and if I do say so myself, generally loved by animals too!

Mijn hele leven lang ben ik al omringd door katten. Hun speelse, maar tegelijkertijd luie karakter trekt mij heel erg aan. Ik speel graag met veters of met laserlichtjes. Ik kan gieren om de sprongetjes die katten maken als ze aan het spelen zijn. Maar naast het spelen, vind ik het ook heerlijk om met katten te knuffelen en hun gespin te horen. Ik zou de hele dag met een kat op schoot kunnen zitten. Ik ben opgegroeid met een moeder als dierenarts, dus het was onmogelijk om niet van dieren te houden en daardoor zit het dus verzorgen van dieren in hart en nieren.

I have always grown up with a house full of animals which I love very dearly. Since moving to the Netherlands I have longed to have animals in my care again. I enjoy walking my dogs and taking them to the park for new smells and making sure they get their daily steps in so they are settled when they are home. Most importantly I love to spoil animals and give them as much love and attention as they deserve. I have experience with both smaller breeds such as my Chihuahuas and medium breeds like the Staffordshire terriers I have grown up with. I have also had 3 cats in my lifetime. I would love to be able to care for someone dog or cat and be able to have animals apart of my life again.
