Hi dear friends, My name is Görkem. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had animals in my life. I truly love them, and spending time with them brings me so much joy — they add real meaning to my life. Over the years, I’ve had many pets, including cats, birds, and fish. I’ve also taken care of many friends’ dogs. I spent a long time volunteering at an animal shelter, where I walked lots of dogs of different breeds. I even followed a course at an animal hospital to learn more about working with dogs. I don’t have official first-aid training for animals, but I do have hands-on experience. A friend of mine had a diabetic cat that needed daily injections. While he was on holiday, I took care of his cat and gave the injections myself. So I’m comfortable and experienced with giving shots. I used to have a cat of my own, whom I loved very much and still miss a lot, so I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can actually trust and feel relaxed about. I’m a calm, responsible and attentive person. I take routines and instructions seriously, whether it’s feeding, walks, medication or simply knowing the little things that make your pet feel comfortable. I’m also very happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away — I know I would want the same. I’m happy to care for both cats and dogs, whether that means home visits, walks, spending the day together or house sitting. For dogs, I’m happy to follow their usual walking and feeding routine and spend time playing and keeping them company. For cats, I can take care of feeding, water, litter, playtime and, of course, give them attention when they want it (and space when they don’t). My priority is quite simple: I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable, and for you to be able to leave without worrying.

Ekaterina was great with Mathi. From the moment she entered the door Mathilda treated her like they’ve been best friends, which is always a good sign. My dog is a bit anxious and she was perfectly able to feel safe and calm around Ekaterina. 100% recommend super attentive and curious about really wanting to make the best out of their time together. Hoi! Ik ben Peter, 36 jaar en woonachtig in Amsterdam Oost. De afgelopen jaren heb ik heel wat opgepast op honden van vrienden en heb ik ontdekt dat ik honden echt geweldig vind! Ik werk vier dagen per week dus ik kan zelf helaas geen hond nemen, maar ik heb genoeg tijd om af en toe op jouw hond te passen. Ik zou het super leuk vinden als ik lekker op pad kan met een hond, wandelen, spelen en ook gewoon voor het gezelschap thuis. Ik woon vlak naast het Flevopark dus wandelgelegenheid genoeg! :) Oppassen bij mij thuis of een lange wandeling maken, maar ook logeren is een optie. Stuur me vooral een berichtje, dan kijken we wat we kunnen afspreken. Ik hoor graag van jullie!
