As a lifelong pet lover and proud pet owner for over 20 years, I bring a deep sense of care, responsibility, and affection to every pet I look after. Growing up surrounded by both cats and dogs taught me not only how to care for animals, but how to truly connect with them. Whether it’s playing, cuddling, going for walks, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own.

I have a special soft spot for large, gentle dogs, especially breeds like German Shepherds and Rafeiros do Alentejo. Their big, fluffy, slow-moving personalities completely win me over, and I love spending time with dogs that are affectionate, calm, and cuddly.

In addition to my own pets, I also sometimes care for friends or family pets. I cared for my landlady’s cat in Portugal for over a year — a responsibility she entrusted to me while I was living there. I gladly and lovingly took care of her cat, Shanti, as if it were part of mY family, and experiences like that have only deepened my appreciation for animals and their individual needs.

Professionally, I’m a visual artist and a teacher — roles that reflect my nurturing, creative spirit. My love for animals naturally flows into my work with children and education, and I bring patience, joy, and attentiveness to both.

I speak English, Dutch, German, Portuguese and Spanish, so no matter what language your pet "speaks," I’ll be able to communicate with warmth and familiarity. I offer flexible scheduling and personalised care, always with lots of affection and attention.
