Dieren geven mij liefde in het leven. Ik heb altijd katten thuis gehad, totdat ik in Delft ging studeren. Ik heb veel ervaring met oppassen op katten en honden: voor wandelingen, om te spelen of om bij mij te logeren. Al deze ervaringen hebben mij veel geleerd; ik ken leuke wandelroutes en vind het belangrijk om ze aandacht te geven. Mijn vriend Gaetano houdt ook enorm van honden (soms zelfs meer dan mij haha) en we zorgen soms samen voor honden wanneer onze vrienden op vakantie gaan. Lekker knuffelen met een blije kat of hond maakt onze dag. Met deze baan hoop ik nog veel meer dieren blij te maken. --------------------------------------- Animals give me love in life. I’ve always had cats at home, until I moved to Delft for my studies. I have plenty of experience taking care of cats and dogs: for walks, playtime, or having them stay over at my place. All these experiences have taught me a lot; I know great walking routes and I think it’s important to give them the attention they need. My boyfriend Gaetano also loves dogs (sometimes even more than me haha), and we sometimes take care of dogs together when our friends go on holiday. Cuddling with a happy cat or dog makes our day. With this job, I hope to make many more animals happy.

Cats always let me give them pets 🤭

I have always had pets at home since I was a child (from cats, to guinea pigs, to even a rabit and a duck once!). Currently, I unfortunately cannot have pets at home in the Netherlands because of my housing agreement... no pets allowed 🫤. But I miss it so much and I say all the time to my partner "I really wish I could get a cat!". My best days are when my neighbour's cat is outside the house in the sun and I can just give it some pets. Back in my homecountry I still have three awesome and super cute cats at my parents' house. They always seem to still remember and miss me when I go back there for holidays or quick visits. I love all animals, but I have a soft spot for cats 😻🐈‍⬛️.

(English below) Katten- of hondenmens? Ik ben het allebei! Hoi! Ik ben Sterre, ik ben 33 jaar oud. Ik ben op zoek naar een viervoetermaatje. Of dat nu in de vorm van een kat of een hond is, maakt mij niet veel uit. Ik vind beide dieren leuk! In mijn ouderlijk huis ben ik opgegroeid in een gezellige beestenbende. We hadden een hond (recent: Heidewachtel, vroeger: Vlinderhondje), 4 katten, konijnen, kippen en cavia’s. Ik heb zelf één van onze honden opgevoed en ik ben ermee op cursus gegaan (de Heidewachtel, een jachtras). Onze poes is tweemaal zwanger geweest, waarvan ze één nestje heeft verworpen. Deze kittens heb ik toen ook verzorgd en gevoed. Kortom: ik ben praktisch opgegroeid als dierenverzorger. Later, als uitgevlogen vogel uit het ouderlijk nest, had ik helaas geen mogelijkheid tot huisdieren ivm verbod door huisbaas. Gelukkig kan ik af en toe oppassen op de katten van mijn ouders en de kat en Appenzeller Sennenhond van een vriendin. Maar ik mis de regelmatige, dierlijke connectie enorm. Honden en katten maken mij blij en ik merk de connectie met ze. Zij voelen dat bij mij aan, vaak lopen honden uit zichzelf vrolijk op mij af om hallo te zeggen en te snuffelen. Ik kan het dan natuurlijk niet weerstaan om even een aai over zijn/haar bol te geven. Met katten weet ik heel goed te herkennen wanneer zij aandacht willen en wanneer zij hun eigen ding willen doen. Ik woon dichtbij het Haagse Bos en vind het heerlijk om met een hond door het bos te wandelen. Doordeweeks werk ik, maar ik mag van mijn werkgever veel thuiswerken. Mijn werk kan ik overal waar WiFi is uitvoeren, dus ook bij jouw huisdier. Tussendoor en tegelijk met mijn werkzaamheden kan ik je hond uitlaten, met je hond/kat spelen en aandacht geven. Mijn kantoorrooster is zodanig flexibel dat ik bijvoorbeeld elke maandag voor je geliefde huisdier kan zorgen. We kunnen hier uiteraard goed contact over hebben wat jouw wensen zijn! Ik kan jou helpen door je hond met een middag- en/of avondrondje uit te laten, of ik kan bij jou thuis voor een aantal uur op je hond passen. Oppas voor je kat nodig? Luna heeft zich goed vermaakt. Ze was na het logeren bij Annelotte ook nog erg moe en heeft overdag nog heerlijk geslapen thuis wat Annelotte aan gaf dat ze vaak de bal moest gooien twijfel ik geen moment aan. Dankjewel voor het oppassen op Luna en het geduld wat je voor haar hebt gezien ze nog een zeer energieke pup is.

Wij zijn zeer tevreden met hoe Tim onze Eliá uitgelaten heeft. Eliá is normaliter (Waarschijnlijk door traumatische ervaringen met mannen in het verleden) nogal terughoudend naar mannen toe. Echter bij Tim wilde ze knuffelen en als ik zijn naam maar noemde stond ze al klaar met een groet helicopter staart te zwiepen :slight_smile:. Ze vond het een feestje. Als we Tim in de toekomst nodig hebben, zullen we zeker contact met hem opnemen en we raden dan ook iedereen aan om hem te boeken. Hartelijk dank Tim.

Dog lover!

I am a freelance musician, flexible with my time. This job came out of a hobby and I cherish it a lot. I enjoy interactions with dogs and love to see them in their comfort spaces or running around. I have been working with rescue dogs as well as well-trained - all are welcome. I grew up at a place with many stray dogs. We were building houses and feeding them, playing, and naming places after them. I got my own dog more than 10 years ago, a Jack Russell terrier called Cora. Moving around I could not bring her with me to The Netherlands. Now, I am looking for all kinds of dog characters to meet and care for. I am currently living in a nice but small studio flat. I can accommodate only small dogs for in-house stays. But I live in an area with plenty of space for walking and parks for dogs only. Overnight stays are also possible given that I work from home a lot of the time and can be flexible.

Viktoria was again awesome, our 2 rescue beagles where very relaxed when we got back (so we don't think they missed us much). The house was perfectly taken care of by Viktoria who is very tidy. Communicatie is clear and regular (with pictures). So glad we found Viktoria and it is such a good match with our 2 beagle boys.

Olá!! My name is Mia. I'm from Lisbon, Portugal, and I have been living in the Netherlands since 2021. Here is a bit about myself: I would describe myself as a person who is passionate about life. I have the spirit of an adventurer and the heart of a traveller. I'm always searching for new challenges and looking toward growing as a person. I have always loved nature and the human-animal connection. I have been dogsitting since 2023 and looked after more than 20 dogs in this time 🤗 My boyfriend, Kit, and I absolutelyyyy love animals! Hi! I’m Vivi from China, and I’ve been living in the Netherlands for 7 years. I first came here for my studies, and now I work and live here full-time. Over the years, the Netherlands has truly become my second home. I absolutely love spending time with lovely little animals. So far, I’ve had the chance to take care of different cats and dogs here in the Netherlands. Vivi did an excellent job! Our little Ollie was taken such good care of and spoiled in all the best ways. :grin: She was also very responsive to our specific requests for how best to take care of him. He has some special needs and she made sure every need was cared for. She also sent us several pictures and videos the entire week. It was so nice to see him having such a lovely time. We will definitely be using Vivi for future dogsitter needs. Thanks so much Vivi!
