Are you looking for an experienced, dog-savvy caretaker for your best friend? For as long as I can remember I've had dogs of my own, fostered rescue dogs, and helped friends/family with their pets. I love interacting with dogs and learning new things about them. A few years ago, I figured out that dogsitting was a great fit for my lifestyle and never looked back!

When your dog comes to stay with me, they will become a member of the family alongside my own dog: Merlin, a Spanish greyhound mix! He is balanced, calm and social. Other dogs naturally look to him as a role model, and he is delighted to play the part. Together, we will take walks in Haagse Bos or Scheveningen beach, cuddle on the couch, run errands in dog-friendly spaces like the gardening center, or visit friends... I work hybrid between my home and my office (which is a 15 minute bike ride away). This gives me flexibility to offer the following services:

🛌 Boarding 🛌
- The quoted price per day guarantees a minimum of two 20-30 minute walks, and one 45-60 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden.
- An extra guaranteed 20-30 minute walk can be purchased for an additional €7 per day.
- You will receive daily photo/video updates about your dog.
- I have to be at my office a couple of days per week. If your need me to look after your dog during periods that include office days, they need to be okay to stay at home with Merlin for up to 8 hours. Upon request, I am able to bike home during my lunch break to let your dog out for an additional €7 per office day.
- Extra guaranteed walks must be requested and paid for before the booking begins.

🌞 Doggie Daycare 🌞
- The quoted price for this service applies to Tuesdays and Thursdays during office hours.
- Drop-off in the morning is flexible, pickup has to be before 18h.
- For doggie daycare outside of the described times, a different price applies based on the specifics of the desired booking. Feel free to reach out if you have different needs!
- The quoted price guarantees one 20-30 minute walk with plenty of potty breaks in the garden. Depending on my schedule and yours, your dog might get a second walk.
- Extra guaranteed walks cannot be purchased for this service.
- New daycare clients will receive one photo/video update per stay, regular clients will receive them upon request.

🏡 Housesitting 🏡
- For this service I will stay in your home overnight with your pets.
- The same conditions apply as Boarding, with the addition that my dog Merlin must be able to stay with me and your pets at your home.
- I am also experienced with cats, and a different daily price can be negotiated for them.

🐶 General 🐶
- A 'Guaranteed Walk' refers to the minimum daily walks that your dog will get during their stay. Some days we might walk more, but never less. Extra walks which weren't requested & paid for before the booking started won't be charged extra, so there will never be any surprise charges for walks at the end of the booking.
- Dogs will only be let off the leash with permission of the owner and if I fully trust them to stay nearby, in spaces where this is allowed. Special walking instructions will always be followed, unless doing so risks a dangerous situation.
- Dogs are allowed on the sofa. Access to the bed comes with the condition of good behavior.
- If a dog needs any meals during their stay, the owner must provide the food. I can provide bowls and fresh water.
- Dogs will not be given human food at any point during their stay. They will only be given dog treats with permission from the owner.
- Due to high demand during the school holiday periods, I do not offer boarding and house-sitting in those dates to new clients. This includes the Summer holidays, Autumn Midterm break, Christmas holidays, February break, and Spring break. This way I can guarantee a place to stay to dogs who are already familiar with me and my home, which is better for them than having to adapt to a new place every time.
- The owner is responsible for informing me about any behavioral or health issues their dog might have. This allows me to prepare a safe and comfortable environment for them ahead of time. Undisclosed issues that cause problems during the dog's stay will result in refusal to accept future bookings, and the cancellation of other existing bookings. If you're not sure whether a particular behavior could be considered an issue, be sure to mention it to me anyways.
- If your dog is very senior or has any serious health issues that increase the risk of emergencies, I require extended instructions on what to do if there's an emergency and you are not reachable. These instructions should be provided in writing before the booking starts.
- Any veterinary costs made by the dog during their stay that aren't covered by the petbnb guarantees, are to be paid by the owner.
