I always had dogs growing up and grew up loving all furry and fishy friends. I am currently a Masters student at Erasmus University. Last year I moved from Aruba to work and study in the Netherlands. I recently noticed I have enough free time to continue one of my passions, taking care of animals. I’ve been cat, dog, and baby sitting since I was 16, making this my tenth year of being a ‘sitter. I learned many useful skills while building this network such as dealing with kids, pets, and parents, communication, responsibility, reliability, schedule-following, and hygiene. I also used to volunteers at an animal shelter in aruba taking care of and training cats and dogs and cleaning their spaces. Being a sitter is a great way for me to bond and play with dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. And to help pet owners out, while earning some money.
